  • man the fans was just crazy on the UW..

  • What's funny is I just watched 7 minutes of this video before I realized Big Boss Man was in the ring as the ref.

  • lol i can barely here the spectators either my volume is to low or the crowd is really excited i never here the crowd this pumped anymore :(

  • @GreenRanger1989 Bibiase's in the HOF,Warrior isn't.And I doubt he ever will be.McMahon hates his guts.

  • the warrior is a punk. he got fired after demanding more money to face jake roberts after jake made him look like he was a wrestler and not just some body builder who runs alot

  • @TheDylangross58 Wrong! Vince had stiffed him for many matches, including the Wrestlemania with Hogan, then tried to jerk him for his merchandising. That was the only leverage he had. All the other wrestlers were too scared to go against Vince.

  • @LastTrumpets7 why dont you go ask jake he will tell you in person. jake helped him stay over. and warroir never put anyone over

  • Jake The Snake Roberts and The Ultimate Warrior are a great tag team.

  • Isn't it a shame when one of the best heels of all time in DiBiase, another great heel in Mr. Perfect, or great faces like roddy piper never won the WWF title? and then you see someone like john cena has been WWE champ about 100 times? Just shows you how bad today's WWE is compared with this golden era or the attitude era

  • @wowthatsbs Ted Dibase is a good wrestlor the WWE is a joke-it has little or nothing to do with wrestling-they made Hulk Hogan a champion and he only had 1 move and that was the leg drop-and Randy Savage's only move was to jump off the top rope-that's the only was he ever won a match

  • @Mhabalzizhari Thats why Vince didnt put jake vs Hogan. He was afraid of the crowd chanting for a DDT on hogan. Which would be bad for Biz. Concidering hogan was the top moneymaker.

  • Ya think Warrior was over?

  • dibiase and jake cut short warriors entrance jealous of the crowd reaction perhaps?

  • this guy must have taken a couple hits of cocaine before every match. Awesome

  • my god look how colourful wrestling was back then xD

  • The DDT... reminds me of fights on the footballfield behind the elementary school I was attending... the sweet sound of face connecting with the ground followed by the loud cries of another little victim of the DDT.

  • VIRGIL ALWAYS GETS SMASHED !

  • @Mhabalzizhari I agree.

  • Still can't believe in Warrior's splash as a finisher. I know he was jacket and weighed a lot, but it doesn't look right for anyone other than big fat guys to use that. In MY opinion.

  • They don't make matches like these anymore. Its all high flying and little actual wrestling techniques these days. Where is the ground work now? If there is one thing I would love to have seen besides Roberts winning a title of some sort it would've been a match between he and Bret Hart. If you wanted to see a fast exciting match with crisp techniques and ground work that would be the match to see.

  • OMG calling eathother names over the internet...what a bunch of babies...@sickandtiredofmorons, dude get a life i'm a grown man and a father....i don't have aids, just ask my wife....when i said warrior has ADHD i was kidding, if i offended u in any way shape or form, i opologize...thats what grown man do. Peace bro ;-)

  • Poor Virgil. Always the sacrificial lamb.

  • The Warrior wuz da shit !!

  • @wimpous and you are an idiot.

  • Warrior has ADHD

  • @peter316316 and you have AIDS you faggot

  • @rockbottomwwe: There all not in the Hall of Fame??!! O.O What a joke... There you see that only come's into the HOF who vince mcmahon wants to. He didn't get along with the Warrior and so he pissed on him with the ridiculous Self-Destruction-of-the-UW-DVD and doesn't want him to get the fame that he deserves. Warrior, Hogan, Macho Man and Undertaker are the greatest wrestling legends of all time.

  • Weird tag team match. Jake was fueding with DiBisase at that time and the Big Boss Man was fueding with Akeem after they split up. Doesn't the Warrior seem kinda out of place to anyone as far as a fued?

  • @sxwrulz no The Warrior is out of place because he's the only one out of the 4 who couldnt put on a decent match

  • Any jobber like Jake could look strong if they teamed up with Warrior.

  • Warrior is easily the most exciting wrestler of all time in my opinion... people can trash his promo's, inring work, attitude etc... but the key to wrestling is ENTERTAINMENT and this guy offered it in bags full.

  • @barbarash to me he is the best that ever done it! that guy ain't no dummy, he knew how to sell the ultimate warrior

  • @ 3:33, when Akeem hits the canvas, you can see the entire stage bending... rofl

  • wow weird to see jake the snake roberts and the warrior teaming up here...

  • Warrior is one of the best wrestlers.

  • I wish they would make a wrestling game like the thq games for 360 and have a huge roster of like evryone upto and including the stone cold-rock era... anything after that sucks

  • In all honesty, the Ultiamte Warrior didnt know but like 3 main moves. Thats why he was so full of energy, it attracted the fans. He was just a sublicity stunt to get fans.

  • @MikeyWikey20 Sorry but that's bull. He didn't have a consistent moveset for some reason. He performed moves such as the sidewalk slam, piledriver, bear hug, belly to belly suplex, verticle suplex, arm bar, flying face buster, powerslam, atomic drop, double axe handle from the top, avalanche clothesline, sleeper hold, big boot, elbow drop among others. I didn't count the moves he performed as Bladrerunner Rock and the Dingo Warrior. I don't understand why he didn't perform those moves regularly.

  • Not only was the wrestling of this time exciting and unpredictable, the wrestlers weren't all overrated and all the same...there was variety, whereas now they pretty much have a shaved head with no facial hair or long hair with a beard...

  • I forget why there was a big white guy named "Akeem the African Dream".

  • @OptimusPrimeribs must've been from sout africa haha

  • UW rules

  • the ultimate warrior was good but he was no way near the best of all time

  • @GyposDog1

I Agree. I REALLY Like The Ultimate Warrior he was a bad ass wild mf'er. But His Matches seemed to just consist of some running, taunting, clotheslines maybe a bodyslam or two a "big splash" and it was OVER! I think he might be ONE of the best gimmicks of all time but not the best wrestler.

  • @WakeUpDead2012

Same with Hogan then and Triple H now: these guys sure knew how to wrestle technically, but all they did (and HHH does now) is using the same entrance, the same speeches, the same moves so that it gets boring

  • @WakeUpDead2012

  • LOL, poor Virgil; I wonder why Vince didn't have him wrestle (and win) more often when he was DiBiase's bodyguard?

  • From September of 1987 to January of 1991, Virgil was a bodyguard for The Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase. He didn't become an official wrestler until DiBiase chose him as his tag team partner to take on The Rhodes at the 1991 Royal Rumble.

  • poor baby burmese python :(

    nice match though!

good old wrestling nice power moves not over technical very adrenalin pumping exciting stuff, gota love old wwf!

  • this place is going absolutely buh-nah-nuhs.

  • The Ultimate Warrior the best wrestler of all time. tremendous strength, speed and agil excited the public.

    Ultimate 4ever

  • jake the snake, warrior and million dollar man should be in the hall of fame

  • @rockbottomwwe They arent?

  • @rockbottomwwe problem is, not many people in the WWE liked the Warrior, i mean i love the guy, but ive heard hes kind of a douche.

  • @rockbottomwwe already are in the hall of fame :)

  • so much better in those days. I loved it back then. The wrestling is quick and smooth, Fast action. These guys were great.

  • Great days of wrestling. Pity I didn't have the channel(s) to watch WWE back in the day.

  • So was this before or after Bossman's face turn?

  • After; Notice how Boss Man is not playing the typical Heel Guest Referee; he also gets knocked out of the ring by DiBiase.

  • Akeem and Virgil were cousins. Don't you see the family resemblence? Also, Jake was the Warrior's hook-up for Riddilin!

  • LOL!!!

  • But Warrior and Jake The Snake? Now that's a Dream Team!

  • akeem & ted dibiase is such a weird tag team combination was there a reason for it?

  • Jake the Snake, Ultimate Warrior, Ted DiBiase.

It Brings back memories, the Golden age of the wwf, when it was made for the kids. Miss those days.

  • What year was this ?

  • probably 1988 or 89

  • Great Vid! Vintage warrior here at his best while he was IC champ. Yes the typical 3 warrior moves i know but everyone who hates on him can deny it but this vid proves how much they loved him, the audience fed off his energy and went crzy all the time...hogan wishes he got those pops

  • Thankyou for that positive comment about the Ultimate Warrior

  • Agreed. The Warrior was super over but geeeezzz, he was a shit wrestler....

  • man i miss the good days when the ultimate warrior was in his prime .

  • i remember the warrior almost becoming as popular as hulk hogan for about a year .

  • good vid!!

  • Vaguely remember this one.

  • AWESOME! intercontinental UW was the best

  • those were the days...

  • What pops Nothing like the 80's

no mistake by the Fink," Here are your winners "the team" Not Akeem

  • warriors ''pops'' were always second to none... he's simply a LEGEND!!!

  • One of Howard Finkel's rare screw-ups:

"Here are your winners: Akeem... er, Jake the Snake and The Ultimat Warrior!"

  • Huge Pop for the Ic champ

  • Awesome! Wrestling will never be as great as it was back then.

  • Suck a dick you Nazi kraut piece of shit.

By the way, my grandfather said that killing you jew hating german cowards was fun!

  • omfg awesome match big boss man as ref!!

  • It always irritates me, these clusterfuck endings. An otherwise entertaining match ends, the bell goes, and a split second later everyone is attacking each other. It just takes away the significance of the result, because whoever wins or loses, they'll just keep going after the bell anyway. It seems like it has always been thus in pro wrestling, and not just in WWE, either...who else thinks matches with clean, decisive endings are much more satisfying?

  • Amen.

  • i agree but you have to realize thats a gimmick. To not always give a clean decisive ending makes you want to see it more, and you keep watching, and every once in a while there is one and it seems all the more satisfying. I do think the whole "other guy running in and attacking the winner" is over-done these days though. McMahon used to be a bit more shrewd with the total chaos element of the show, now its expected and given almost constantly.

  • Love that DDT! Classic

  • Akeem was best as the one man gang.

  • "A big white buy in a blue body suit who danced all day and claimed to be from Africa. Was it a swipe at Dusty Rhodes or something?"

    Supposedly.

African Dream. American Dream. Heavy guy dancing. It makes sense, but it's also pretty easy to miss. I don't think Vince has ever gone on the record to say "Yea, it was a shot at Dusty."

  • @SkyeReynolds Interesting. I had heard that Ted Dibiase hated Dusty Rhodes and so his bodyguard was named Virgil because that's Dusty's real name.

  • Interesting. I'd never heard that before. I wonder how they felt about having to work with one another once Dusty came to the WWF. Dusty even had his debut match against the Million Dollar Man.

  • crazy pop for warrior with the shoulder charge to akeem

  • I never understood the point of the snake being released on ppl at the end of the match

  • ultimate warrior!!!!!

  • wooooo love the WWF

  • great match. ted dibiase has to be one of the best wrestlers ever. he was brilliant, and he knew how to play heel to perfection

  • Akeem! The African Dream. I remember being confused by this guy as a kid because I just knew he was the One Man Gang but I never saw the vignette when he was transformed. A big white buy in a blue body suit who danced all day and claimed to be from Africa. Was it a swipe at Dusty Rhodes or something?

  • now that u say that, and knowing how virgil got his name and vince's hatred of duty, it could have been a shot on him lmao

  • Yeah, actually now that you mention it, a lot of Akeem's hand movements do remind me of Dusty Rhodes' hand movements.

  • the good old days of wrestling, ted dibiase and jake roberts are two of the greatest wrestlers to have never won a world title and are far more entertaining than most of the nonsense served up by vince these days

  • its hilarious how the left virgil alone in the ring to get beat up on

  • damn good match

  • never seen this

  • So many gimics in the match. So many colours. (lol) AWESOME :)

  • I always liked Ted Dibiase! I`ll never forget when he bet a kid from the crowd money if he could hold an egg under his chin for 10 seconds and then hit the back of his head while counting down breaking the egg! :)

  • lol i always loved how the million dollar man would always run away and virgil would get his ass kicked by who ever was left in the ring.

  • intresting tag team with Snake and Warrior . . . Roberts with the brains and Warrior with the muscle- could of been unbeatable. Though, I could care less about the Warrior. . . never liked him, and after all the crap he pulled behind the scenes, never will.

  • don't believe everything Vince McMahon says about "behind the scenes"...he likes hanging people out to dry.

  • I know McMahon can be an ass, he's a businessman- its expected, but a lot of wrestlers said the same thing of him.

  • ultimate warrior is the greatest ever, charisma & energy were unmatched, early 80's -early 1992 wwf was the best , now it sucks

  • There has only been one Ultimate Warrior

  • Was that the 1st Ultimate Warrior, my history is a little rusty - didn't that guy die and they got another guy to play that charactor???

---Completely agree WWF was far better.

  • no, the original ultimate warrior is still alive. There was only one. Wcw had the renegade who came there as the ultimate warrior, but once fans found out he wasnt the one and only, he then changed his name to warrior and his outfit. He ended up blowing his brains out. Once everyone found out he was a sham, he became a jobber and loss to everyone in wcw

  • you're only about 50% correct about the Renegade..

  • Plain and simple...WWE can't and will never be as good as WWF...they actually had characters you could care about

  • Amen to that. I think the best era of wrestling was from 96-98 WWF was good, WCW was good and ECW was starting to get traction. I can hope that TNA can get better.

  • no no, WWF's golden age was longer than that, from like 86-98.

  • I dont remember it as far back as 86, i was only like 5 but my best memories of wrestling came from 89 to 98, stopped watching it then. Happy days!

  • Actually more like 1996-1992!! Cuz in 1993 was when all the good guys had left the company due to the Steroid scandal...and I hated the fact that they had Bret Hart as the main eventer BOOOOO!!! anyway then it sucked big time 1994-1997 The worst WWF years..then it picked up in 1998-2002

  • I couldn't agree with you more...

  • hahaha nobody cared that Warrior couldn't wrestle. He was my favourite growing up, and I liked him because of his energy. Wrestlers were not as athletic then as they are now, but you know what, Wrestling from before was a HELL OF A LOT better than it is today.

  • Yeah I agree with you, dude. Wrestlers back then had more "charisma" ...non of this WWE shit! IT's all crap now...except when Stone COld and The Rock ran the show...now it's all shit

  • Akeem went to my high school!

  • Look at the crowd reaction when Warrior's music hits and how fuckin insanely OVER he is, something this crap copy of him known as Dave Batista will never ever be even in his wildest dreams

WARRIOR >>>>>> 99 Per cent of the current WWE Roster

  • brand88, yeah, really!!!

  • can u tell me where is the ultimate warrior now.

  • Ultimate Warrior will always be the best fighter and character ever.

  • damn what the fuck happen to these days i think i might just sue vince for this shit on t.v. now

  • Rare tag team match of two WWF ICONS: Jake and Warrior...miss the old WWF days.

  • the icons are jake and ted not the ultimate puke~

  • jake the badder & the ultimate warrior pure power vs akeem fat funky & dibiase the fart. special guest: virgil as the final snake victim and big boss man as the referee!! (Phantastic! but very shit low quality)

  • This match took place on March 3, 1990 at a Superstars taping in Fresno, CA

  • Now thats an entertaining match

With the exception of dibiase none of them were really stellar skill wise, but all of em knew how to play the momentum in the match.

    Very classic match

  • @Showtimedr Jake had some skills. I always found his matches to be quite entertaining.

  • Great

  • Virgil is the truth

  • Cuz is you crazy virgil wuz a bitch he was million dollar mans fuck boy

  • wow - the Warrior spent more time getting to the ring then he did in it!!

  • I'd say about 1989

  • @kidapage March 17 1990

  • what was the date of this?

  • certainly pre-April 1990 as Warrior still has the IC title.
