Ok, so I'm NOT crazy. My 15 buck mac eyeshadow pots DON'T come with the lil' applicator in the bottom like the loreal 1z do right? I tried to open the bottom a few times...

No, MAC eyeshadows don't come with an applicator. Mainly because most make up artists don't recommend using sponge applicators with eyeshadows, they limit the amount of styles and looks you can create and they are generally pretty useless. Invest in a good set of brushes!

Mine just started doing that (I use it every day for months now- that baby gets its usage ;) )

I dip it in some makeup remover and use a tissue to wipe it off and form the bristles back into shape- not perfect, but it's helped a lot :)
