Great video, well done! The FPS scene is one of my fave scenes. I think they did a GREAT job staying true to elements of doom (doom 3 especially) whilst trying to cater for the mainstream audience who don't play FPS games. It would have been hard trying to maintain that balance. I initially didn't like the movie because they changed the entire damn plot (where are my g-ddamn demons from hell!) but now I love it cause it has so much else going for it. Helps I love Karl Urban and the Rock! :)

However is this film would have ended like the RE film, that the monsters invaded earth like in the video games i totally would have accepted it as true to the games.

I would pay big money to see an actual movie of Doom, just make sure you include Demons and and actual BFG, like the one from Doom 3, and get some of the guys who actually make the Doom games and get them to help you with the Script. Good luck making it one day...

@RLVogeler 2 years later and I respond, who can understand the MORON PRODUCERS in Hollywood, all they do is want a fast buck (merchandise DVD, TOYS, etc), they rarely give a flying F about a good story. And I fully agree, the storyline from the video game was perfect and very profound, and the game is actually very disturbing and truly scary! This movie is a disgrace to the game and ID.
