After putting a copy of the video I want to add to my imovie into the media file it does not come up in the trash when I open imovehd. Is there a reason for this? Is there anything I can do to get the video footage I need into imovie?

although I didn't understand because it wasn't clear what files you were working with and the language difference, I got the jist of what you were trying to do and I was able to import my movie into Imovie and upload it to Youtube in less than 10 mins. when It took me about 8 hours to upload a 10 min movie from my flip camcorder, thanks

Yah didn't help at all. I got my folder that i downloaded from my iPhone on the side of my screen but it doesnt say what urs did it only wants to open in quicktime
