  • i want one, and what song is thiss??

  • wow because they look fun to go ride in them

  • do you they still make them for older kids still?

  • @tahotwheels1 There are enough parts available in reproduction to recreate them. Bodies from the original molds, frames and trim parts but the company no longer makes them. The bodies are all the same size so the difference between the kids fitting and the adults is the placement of the pedals. There is as much as 41 inches of clearance between the seat back and the pedals. You just need to add and engine, paint, wheels. wiring, and interior etc.

  • @roadkillontheweb if you have all the parts you custom build them for people! many would adore these me being one of them :)

  • @hame41 I have the junior specific parts to make one except for the original drive train but modern power plants can be used. All the other parts can be sourced locally like interior, paint, wiring, tires and wheels pulleys control cables etc.

  • hmmm i wonder what would happen if u put a small rotary engine in that haha

    RetroVintageItems27

  • @RetroVintageItems27 as you think it is worth??

  • OMG THATS SO CUTE LOL

AHH THEY SHOULD OF MADE "ELEANOR" FROM GONE IN 60 SECONDS!!!

  • 0:48 that going in the year book as his graduation picture lol

  • 16 people have no life

  • that is so cool i wish i could have one and i still dont get how adults can fit it just how

  • 16 people are mad because they don't have one of these.

  • Whats the brand name of these? I wanted to get one for my kid because he is pretty tall for his age and cannot fit into the power wheels mustang. it sure would be fun for all the car shows my small town has!

  • They were made by the Powercar Company of Mystic CT. from 1965-67. Finding originals can be difficult and expensive since they did not make that many 40+ years ago. If you watch my other videos you will see that enough parts are available to recreate one if you have the talent?

  • @roadkillontheweb Thank you for the reply I Googled it after I watched this, My Cousin and I wanted to build a gas powered Mustang for my Son since the power wheels are not as realistic and don't last as long, with this it will last clear through adulthood! If its anything like building a full sized mustang we should be able to pull it off.

  • I want one!

  • i want one

  • are these road legal or just as you would say track cars?

  • Can you run them on the street? sure! is it legal? NO! watch the pizza huts first commercial. They are meant for sidewalks and driveways but do people drive them on side streets and parking lots. yes

  • great!

  • where can i get one of those?! D;

  • Creed ...lol

  • this video makes it look like the mustang was a english two seater sports car

can you imagine the mustang a two seater would be pretty cool right

  • Cool !!!

  • I had the chance to drive one of these things threw my dads old boss we took it down to a huge parking lot man if you can get it to do it theyll do doughnuts but dont be too hard on em a fiber glass piece broke lol

  • do u still have it?

  • I do not have the 1967 Mustang but I am currently rebuilding a 1966 Gas powered that will be in the road next show season and also a 1961 Thunderbird electric powered that has a modern electric drive installed.

  • Beautiful....

  • Hey, I have no legs too!

  • those are sooooo cool. I always wanted one..... still.....

  • As mentioned I haven't been there in sometime. Are you saying all the old little mustangs are gone? In 1983 I had reservations about publishing the article and pictures because someone with money might come in and clear it out. And that was 27 years ago! I guess it would be hard to believe they are still using the same cars that existed even when I was a kid. I'm going to find out. As for pictures? Again they are gone. I took nice ones too.

  • I took interesting pictures in 1983 for an article in Mustang Monthly. I had a picture of the 73 hanging on the wall like a ladder. I took the maker info down and wrote an article because while I was into Mustangs then and knew of pedal cars I was not aware of these and thought others would find it interesting. But I never sent the pictures and story in for publication and have long since lost the pictures. Next summer I will visit the place. Are you saying you know of the program?

  • A fellow Junior collector purchased a number of the cars from that program they are easy to tell because they had holes cut in the hood and a hood scoop installed to make it easier to access the battery for charging. The photos I have are from an old newspaper article so they are not the best but still great. The 1971-73 bodies were made by Conval the company that bought the assets of the Powercar company. have you looked at my other videos yet? visited my site? I will offer the 71-73 body soon.

  • I forgot about these. I know a place that has around 20 of these - all in one place. I swear - when I was there in 1983 they had a 73 mustang body hung on the wall - where did that come from? All of the others were 67's and they were all electric. They were bought and used as a community safety program for children to sign up in summer and learn sonething about vehicle and pedestrian safety. I think they are still used. I won't say where it is.

  • I have some really bad pictures from that program. If you have more images I would love to add them to the website.

  • how can i get one of these cars????? XD

  • No way,want one :D

To bad they only made 600 of them.

  • drop in a custom honda 50 style 198cc with a stick shift and clutch and that thign would smoke the tires

  • Yeah, i would get his, where do you get one?

  • Screw the smart car, I'll take one of these.

  • song?

  • where they ran off of gas?

  • Some were gas some were electric. of course the gas powered versions are worth the most

  • WTF 26$ for a pack of fucking marlboros that is GREAT :D

  • What happend to your's?

  • Sold it to pay for my driveway. I am building a 1966 gas powered now and will be posting videos when I get it done. I already posted videos of the engine and body

  • image them low riding

  • i have one but they are very exspensive it cost me 2000$

  • wish i had one

  • i would love to have one! how hard is it to get one?

  • i am getting one but where do yo get one

  • If only it was that easy.

They stopped making them in 1967 and they only made just over 600 of the from 1965-67 so needless to say they are rare and expensive today. Frames bodies and many other parts are available if someone has the talent to finish one but no body makes complete ones. Check the video description for more information on available parts.

  • OK, awesome has hit a new level.

  • they dont make them like they used too

  • a real kids toy right here

  • Do They Have Engines In Them?

  • If they were cheaper, I'd totally get one, although I'm 15...lol *Whirr*

If I ever manage to get one, I'd go do some customization...yeah, it might ruin it..but hey, I'm one of those artsy fartsy types. *Click*

  • drift it

  • nice! want :p

  • Lol Mario Kart style... y hasn't ppl done like a drivable Mario Kart DS or Wii Go-kart? it would be nice to drive Dry-Bones' Tank-Kart...

  • i have one and now it costs 3000-4000$ on ebay

  • what happen to yours?

  • how can buy this?

  • How Fast Does It Go?

  • can u still buy them

  • thos r fckin real to omg

  • i'll take that white one. :D

  • They just dont make things like they used to

  • wow what are they powered with looks nice though

  • Lol Im gonna find a body for one of these and make a hardtop bullit green one lol

  • can kids drive em'?

  • That is really adorable!

  • 1:55 haha no-functional dual exhaust.

  • where can i buy one of those

  • They were only made in 1965, 1966 and 1967 and a little over 600 were made. Many of them were wrecked by the kids that drove them so very few originals survive today. If you can find one for sale, its going to be expensive. And the gas powered ones are even more expensive than the electrics. Recently a gas powered 1967 sold on Ebay for $4,500 and it needed fully restored. Luckily there are restoration parts available even bodies and frames so if someone has the talent they can recreate one.

  • sick! its like your driving the real thing! i want one!?!?!?!?!?!?!

  • how quick and is there suspention

  • yeap

    i got a gto

  • 0:27 wtf is that guy ganna hit him??

  • The guy on the left is the current owner of the car and the guy on the right drove it at a Mustang meet back when I owned it and is infamous for a picture he took while driving it. The guy on the right would like to drive it again but the new owner will not let him and will resort to beating him with the broom to stop him.

  • thats slick. if i had one id stick a gas engine in it. too bad i live in a city and cant do that :(

  • This ias to be the coolest thing I've seen. I wonder what their cost is, aha.

  • Did pontiac make any GTO models?

  • None that I am aware of

  • I WANT ONE WHERE DO YOUGET IT??

  • How much for one?

  • All cars should be like these; Go-Karts with stylish body panels.

  • how much do they coast and how many did they make

  • were could i get one if those

  • Originals have not been made since 1967 so they are rare and expensive. Luckily the frames are being reproduced and the bodies are available along with many of the other parts so they can be done but they are not cheap! Read the website noted in the desrciption for more information.

  • just another thing to put a hyabusa into... :)

  • How fast do those top out at!?

  • electrics only got to 5MPH but the gas powered versions would probably do 20? They were designed to bring customers into the dealership so the salesman could sell them a car. One is being built in Colorado for a charity raffle that has a 5HP motor and 3 speed lawnmower transmission that should go a little faster than the originals?

  • @roadkillontheweb Lawnmower transmissions aren't really made for speed unless the gearing was changed, none the less I think that would be neat to see. 20MPH isn't too bad for a little car like that!

  • and adults actually fit?

  • Yes adults fit. My other two videos about Mustang JR on the move show my 6'4" nephew driving my old 67 Gas powered version. since the gas and brake pedals are out by the grille there is plenty of leg room. The steering goes up and over the legs so that your feet go past the front wheels.

  • imagine sticking a engine in one

  • that is so cool :)

  • i want one so gnar

  • i want one

  • i just love those cars!! :O

  • my dad had one but it was custom made and it ran on gas, it only 10-20 mph.

  • so they are pedal cars?

  • Gas pedal and brake pedal on the gas powered units. The electrics just have the gas pedal and the brake is done by hand control

  • where do u get those?

  • They have not been made since 1967. they are very rare and expensive if you can find one for sale. The bodies for the 1965-66 are available from the original factory molds and the 67-68 body will be available shortly. replacement frames and other parts are also available but nobody makes them complete.

  • awsome

  • :) sooo cool and sweet:)))

  • very good

  • PUT THE NEW 5.0 IN THAT LOL

  • it has a real engine

  • lol 45 seconds... he looks like hes haveing so much fun. =-D

  • I made him stop so I could take pictures so he was not happy. This is my nephew and was my driver 6'4" tall and drove it all the time. he even took it airborne once over a speedbump

  • These are some cool cars laden!

  • what song called?

  • Creed, one last breath

  • Wow, thats a really detailed dash for a child's car. Exact to my 64 1/2 Coupe dash.

  • The mold masters for these were made by Ford company molders prior to the introduction of the new model year cars so they could be used during opening day festivities. They are very detailed and even have working head lights, taillights and even brake lights on the gas powered models. Check out the website jrcentral for more images and information

  • whats name of the song?

  • that is one of the best looking cars in the world

  • WTF I WANT THE BLACK ONE

  • DUUUUDE! YOU MADE THAT!?!?

  • Nice wheels....

  • is that electric

  • some are electric others are gas. they are not pedal cars

  • @roadkillontheweb I want to make a pedal one thats a replica of a 1980s mustang with working headlights and radio shocks and so on

  • Another company made a version in the 80s but the bodies were not as detailed. the lights were just stickers as were most of the details in the body. If you can find one of those that will help you get one built.

  • cool.i want car like that in philippines...

  • these are so rare if you find one there like 4,000 dolers and there not fixted up i would love to have one of these iv seen one on ebay before

  • I WANT ONE!! D:

  • were i can get one ?

  • Wow....awesome litle cars...the thunderbird Jr 66 rocks

  • Too bad they didn't make any F350 versions :) this is very nice
