so sad they closed beyond sadd i went there since i was a baby in 93 and went there almost 2 to 3 times a year some of the greatest times i had as a kid was up there with my dad and mom if i had the money i would buy it and reopen it
@jake1234998 yep, had some good times there with Tunnel Tom and the bunch- if I had the money, I would RELOCATE the whole kip n' kaboodle to a location where it could interact with a ranch. A wild west park needs horses, and general store near a main drag that could generate business year round, possibly teamed up with a Tractor Supply & an ACO.
I went there as a kid shortly after they opened, around 1969 or so, then 30 some years later, took my kids and we stayed at the motel there while attending an indy car race at MIS. Too bad there is not enough demand for simple fun like this place was.
Yup, under new mgt.- it's now a rib joint, no more salad bar or big steak dinners - it still smells like old Las Vegas, but all the cool old decor is gone- they still have bands. No more alligator.
Hey thanks for uploading these videos, i went here with my friend zach bahlau, whos family is the owners of this place. Its a shame they had to tear it down.
12344 is right. If you know anyone who would like to takeover Stagecoach Stop with Marshal Tom, they are looking for investors to get involved, revamp the place and keep it alive.
The new owners who took it over in the late 1990's closed shop around 2003. The next closest dinoattraction is either in Marblehead, Ohio, or at Dinosaur Gardens in Alpena.
Prehistoric Forest was a hoot when it was open~ hey --- Mystery Hill is still in business there...yah, rumor is they're going to close down Stagecoach Stop after Labor Day. Unless they get some sponsors, this will be your last time for this kind of FREE roadside fun anywhere in the Midwest.

Will the haunted drive though be open this year, 2009? If so, when and how much will it cost?

I'm thinking it will cost about as much as it did last year- open through October- call ahead first.

Any body know what is going on with stagecoach stop?

Stagecoach stop is now officially closed, except for the Cowboy Creek Motel. The Golden Nugget Saloon across the street closes on November 4.

Nah- I just know Tom, the place is way cool, and I dig roadside Americana. A lot of it's vanishing like Rt. 66.
