@zeldasfan193 It seems like Gakupo is just a normal samurai who happens to be possessed by some embodiment of evil, which you can see at the very beginning of the video. Whenever it possesses him, he gets the glowing blue eyes.

When Gakuko stabs him, however, it possesses her instead. Gakuko's red eyes are just from righteous rage.
