  • I hate to break it to you but tea bags can hardly be considered real tea. Buy loose leaf tea and you'll never go back to the bagged kind, it has the real antioxidents and tends to be cheaper.

  • Healthy whole grains is an oxymoron, today's wheat is nothing like the wheat from 100 years ago and will make you sick.

  • step 1 : just look at the nutrition labels

step 2 : eat or drink what you buy warning : buy food before you consume it!!!!!!!!!

  • the muffins i buy are 190 calories

  • Why would I really sit in the supermarket and check every label -____-

  • I ate like 3 packets of chips whilt waiting for this video to load.

  • if you "health problems" you can eat chips and drink soda but go by serving sizes and eat healty to balance out and chew slow when you eat so become more full with less food.

There i just sized a whole video and less than 500 letters. :)

  • Sad that it takes a hot chic video to get across a healthy message. Ironic how packaging on foods is deceptive, but hey, whatever works, so are women. Gotta love American advertising. lol.

  • Tea bag................Teehee

  • How to stay away from unhealthy foods:

step 1: Give the bakery the silent treatment and face away! 1:28

  • This chick is so hot.

  • bread in general makes u fat

  • @juggalettetillidie1 True that!

  • Grains are not all that healthy. Saturated fat from a steak is healthier for you than grains. You can survive without the carbohydrates (i.e., sugar) in grain-based foods, but you can't survive without fats and proteins.

  • @wompeter1 Carbohydrates are what gives your body energy. Even if you can survive without them doesn't mean they're not healthy. By eating whole grains your are ensuring that your body is able to quickly absorb the nutrients that the grains provide, carbohydrates that give energy to your body. The problem with many food high in carbs is that the food is so overly processed that your body has to hold on to it in order to gain any nutrition from it, that's why people who drop bread lose weight.

  • @Schiznie The body makes energy from protein and fats. It can make its own glucose. Grains are just sugars linked in long chains (polysaccharides). There's zero difference once those starches are broken down in the body into sugars. They spike your blood sugar (whole wheat bread spikes it faster than Coca-Cola--look up the glycemic index) and then your insulin. People who drop bread, brown rice, oatmeal, potatoes, whole-what pasta lose weight because they're dropping CARBSUGAR.

  • @Schiznie There is no truth at all to the idea that "your body holds on to it to gain any nutrition." Wherever you read or heard that is not to be believed. Junk food is digested and assimilated quick-and-easy because it's mostly simple starch and/or straight sugar. Your body doesn't "hold on to it." Carbs (any kind) raise blood sugar, which leads to an insulin rise, which leads to calories being stored as fat, which leads to a drop in blood sugar, which means hunger. It's biochemistry.

  • how to feel like a wet towel

  • I also think the comsumer should avoid ingredients that are bad for thier health. I went to the health section of the grocery store that I shop in. The ingredients in them are not as organic in them as regular. For instant corn syrup is one of them

  • not trying to seem racist but i can tell that its a black lady speaking

  • grow your own food and live as some 500 yrs ago. then hope for health. and animal protein is a NO

  • you don't need gains, watch Bologna: Grains are good for you!

both first and second clip. the only carbs you should ingest are from veggies, not BREAD

  • ahaha tea bagss

  • well, a lot of people don't need to be in a serious diet a majority of us want a "balanced" diet. and those labels aren't really lieing or fooling you. they are multi grain, and they are low fat if they say they are. it's just that if you're in a serious diet, get the 100% stuff.

  • @jacobbobcorn Read the tiny print. There may be several different kinds of sugar added to "whole wheat" bread, including but not limited to: glucose, high-fructose corn syrup, corn syrup solids, maltodextrin, sucrose, brown sugar, dextrose, dextrin, evaporated cane juice . . . the corporations play the game of renaming sugar to sound like something else--the total amount of sugar may be enormous even if the first ingredient is "whole wheat flour."

  • Yogurt!!! i'm outa here!!!!!

  • 00:21

  • @creaper1030 Nvm its 00:22

  • rofl :21 play over and over

  • what the hell? i need 100% whole wheat and whole grain foods, plain yogurt, loose tea or teabags??? what duh hell? shouldnt it say

    1. money or a credit card

    2. a store to go to why the hell would i bring that stuff with me to the store?

  • Thanks for sharing this video on this important point. This video has certainly increased the awareness and people will be more careful now.

  • Hahahahah Tea Bag

  • “Very disappointed to see this article about Whole Foods quality standards.”

  • waitttt so i need a te bag well what if im not gay...... ;p

  • low fat on dairy is espesially sneaky because it will almost always have more sugar and less calcium without saving that many calories.

  • Wheat is not good for you ppl :(

    Stay Alkaline

  • 0:12 Trix are for kids woman!

  • ha a tea bag is needed

  • Hey, my morning muffin is supposed to last me til lunch so I'm glad its got 500 calories.

  • Tea Skanque

  • Comment removed

  • only step needed: Read to fudging nutrition facts.

  • hey everbody I need a man opinion about this. My dad dosen't believe in organic food.He buys crappy foods enriched with high fructose corn syurp, artificial flavors and the list goes on. help me !

  • Coming from another man, tell that fucker this advice: cook his own meals, and it's okay to eat unhealthily, but only with correct portion sizes. An extremely common error is made when most people assume that a food is bad for you, no questions asked. It may not be the healthiest thing to eat, but if you eat it in moderation, it can actually provide benefits and promote weight loss. Tell him to also eat a large breakfast if he has weight problems.

  • I don't like whole wheat 100% bread :(

I like regular, seedless white bread. XD

  • Fat and sugar are good for you. It's excess of it that is bad.

  • @NekoKaoru Your right, but North Americans diets consume ridiculous amounts of excess fat and sugar. I don't mean to offend anyone, but our nation suffers from huge obesity problems, which leads to disease and death..

  • fat is healthy.

    stop eat that bread, fatty.

  • Also:

Try to avoid the following ingredients

    - High Fructose Corn Syrup

    - MSG / Monosodium Glutamate

    - Anything that you cannot pronounce in your head or out loud

  • I was rummaging around my kitchen cupboard recently and found pure MSG >_>

  • You -might- wanna toss that. o.o;

Is it like in a bag and it's a white powder? I've seen it sold in an Asian supermarket that way.

  • how can i make my penis bigger eating foods???

  • hmMm theres no food that make your penis big. but theres a food that can make you naturally hyper in sex. its like natural viagra. you can found here in the Philippines. its called "BALLOT" a filipino delicacy, its available in the entire island of philippines and its safer than any sex enhancers

  • How 'bout not being a bimbo and you read the back of it.

  • very gud

  • i hate low fat foods because it is unreal and u can get helthier foods by just eating all natural

  • @Iondal1 press backspace until ur arrived to unreal, then press space and type tournament (D)

  • Actually organic food IS MORE nutritious than regular.

Another thing, there is no such thing as "healthy candy bar".

And it could be MULTIGRAIN and at the same time wholegrain so read the whole label.

  • How is it more nutritious?

  • oi 1 thing for howcast even tho im a fan

    1. With yougurt still buy the plain but just buy your own fruit for example Passionfruit pulp and just add it in?

and 2. NEVER! if trying to do this eat that crap that says like healty plus most of it is a lie

  • Organic food is more nutritious than non-organic food.

  • thats kinda like being a health nut

  • yea i agree with you

    health freak

  • she looks like hayden pannietre

  • ahaha

  • Wait, people don't brew tea themselves? How intriguing...

  • Plain yogurt? Why would anyone WANT to eat that? It tastes HORRIBLE! If I wanted to eat something that tasted like vomit, I would EAT vomit.

  • its not that bad i eat it all the time

  • lol

  • there should be only 1 step:

    READ THE LABELS DUHHH

  • have you not been observing this video well? they said read the lable but JUST because the label makes it sound healthier it isn't...

  • This is a pretty good video, though I don't agree with their fatophobia. Fat is a very filling and long-lasting source of energy that's actually pretty hard to overeat without the presence of processed carbohydrates in the meal. If you're worried about clogging your arteries, cut out the sugar, bad flours, and trans-fats.

  • and to think we try to cut it out of our diet, but we diddnt even know what it is. im a dietitian and ive had to tell many people what fat can be made from

  • where can i buy organic fruits and veggies? also what's the difference between organic and regular market sold veggies and fruits beside chemical, etc.?

  • go to trader joe's. theyre fruits ang veggies are clean but dont wash away healthy toxins like most grocery stores do

  • What do you mean by healthy toxins?

  • proteins often found on the skin of a fruit that make your body react to them as energy to use right away, instead of being stored as fat

  • is there a trader joes in illinois?

  • i think so, but maybe u should look it up

  • This is a very helpful video. I approve.

  • cute girl

  • you are good looking :))

  • OMG ...they filmed this in my neighborhood!

  • awesome! LOL!

  • That looks like Brooklyn to me, am I wrong?

  • Yea it is Brooklyn..kinda cool they picked it to film there.

  • What neighborhood, because that looks like Fl@bush.

  • Now that Im looking it may be in Flatbush but it might be in Bushwick

  • is Brooklyn poor ?

  • Well yeah it is But its doing much better now due To Gentrification.

  • Huh...

  • We waste so much of our lives trying to live longer, it ultimately cancels itself out and we don't live any longer.

  • I might! I drink milk!

  • Milks allright. Yummmm!! :P

  • tea bag is a verb, not a noun

  • exactly

  • i dont get it

  • tea bag....

  • the narrator is so annoying, her voice omg.

  • wow that was helpful :D

  • There are too many ingredients in labels to read. I read, and I cant go on after the first 2 lines, And worst thing is, I cant understand 2/3 of them.

  • Chances are, if the label has that many ingredients, it's not healthy.

  • Thanks for the fact!

  • why buy it then?

  • u must be lonely
