Wow yet another crybaby casual. This is one reason why MMO's have lost their appeal to people who actually like to feel a sense of accomplishment. Heck, why should I work hard at getting an item when Blizzard will just give it to me for nothing if I cry enough.
IDI had a split after the release of EXP1 TBC, then later there was a "reforming" if you will into a group called Valeo - I have some vids of them as well.
Everybody who have a "love" to vanilla wow, go to wow-one(dot)com and sign up. Guides on how to get started. Private server yes. But working 99 % . have 1500 players onlinie at all times normally (not at nights).
But players from US and EU playing there. Gm's and Hard rules to control no cheating and exploit. Hope to see you ! :)

To all those who says pre-BC isn't a great thing... First, the Classic WoW, made his great name that BC, WotLK and now CATACLYSM are trying to save. A 40-Men RAID was the best experience in game, if you don't liked, you had lazy players that don't like to work for a great goal, like now. Thunderfury was a great and amazing LEGENDARY weapon, not like BC and new other weapons that come without a lore, questline and nice events. TF was just 1 example, AQ-40 was even epic!!!!

I played through BC then i just had to quit after Wotlk.
I was a rogue and i gotta say that they were fucking badass in PVP, at lvl 40 i killed a lvl 60 with tier 1 shoulders and tier 1 helm. It was fucking hilarious when he died. I gotta say that when you did not have sprint you were fucking dead by hunters. Warr,cloth fags were really easy to kill

Raids that took hours on end to complete and talents and spells that required deciation and talent. Now wow has become the very thing that is killing video games. It is now for the "Farmvillers" these casuel gamers. They take the hardcore game industry and hang it by the neck till it finally sucumbs to death. Sad is the world of gaming.
I miss pre-tbc, exploring the world for the first time with friends, aggroing the whole first room in UBRS, Fighting 2 raid groups with our raid groups against the alliance at tarren mill, getting raped at winterspring by a cave full of elites claiming *my mount is faster then those dragons*, farming a golden pearl, trying hunter epic quest over and over again. But heck, that was all mighty fun:D and pre-tbc AV was SWEET. Played one game for +13hours. They'll never make a game like that again :(
Yes, it is Narnia music. Blizzard has adapted their game over all expansions - it was what was best for them. The most of the original group of players has left, Blizzard has attracted most of the casuals and "baby gamers". This was a smart move because there are many more of these "farmvillers". Basically it is do your time and you get epix! Gone are the days of challenging satisfaction - that is why most the great debate continues - there is no "fight" left in the game.
@idrost Yes now instead of having only 10 % of the wow community actually have a little chance of getting good gears now alot more can get them too ! Stop being an elitist staying only a small portion should get all the stuff.
Blizzard has lost their taste. They are now becoming casual friendly. WoW was a hardcore mans raid. It took skill and weeks upon weeks to down raids with all 40 people. There werent as many pugs then, then there are now. It is rediculous. On my server we pugged an ICC 10m hardmode group and downed the LK all in one run. That could not happen in MC. Blizzard has let me down.
@wxyztobeme I actually have..nice try though...i am in a guild and we did LK 25m 10m Hardmode along with RS 25m Hardmode. WotLK is easy as fuck! But i love how people like u who havent experienced end game content especially in Vanilla, Would think WotLK is hard.

@WellThisIsInterestin Can have something to do with the few people back there had weekly farm/progress raids in MC with their guild, either gearing new people, farming lagendary's or selling stuff. Not that MC was that hard in the end after countless nerfs. The hardest part with vanilla was to carry the 15 semi AFK people through every raid.
pre-bc was okay minus the 40 man raids, hours of farming molten bore for little chance for any loot. the pvp was awful and just as unbalanced as it is now with rogues two shotting people.
@Beecels pre-bc was great. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion but this is the very first comment I have seen since I started posting videos that didn't like pre-bc. I have since stopped playing WoW because it has gotten so bad. I logged back into the lastest xpac to beat all the content in a week or so including all heroics. It was then I decided that WoW had lost it.

I.E. all raids, 40 man raids was the worst thing wow ever had completely time consuming and pointless. PvP was just as unbalanced if not more than it is now. WoW loses its luster after a while for me personally. I think its just bad overall now, but pre-bc was not that great.
@Beecels then we have a difference of opinion. I played through BC and started to discover that WoW was starting to slide. I really enjoyed the 40 man raids - our group had a great time and was able to outfit people for the next big step into the other level 40 man raids. I vividly remember pre-bc, great times, some of my favorite in MMOs so far.
to each his own I suppose. I personally found 40 man raids to take FAR too long for low chance of loot. I was more of a pvp person though. And i was never a fan of pre-bc pvp. it was all 2 shotted by rogues, or 1-2 shotted by double trinketing arcane mages. Not balanced at all, or a warrior with a healer basically = god in bg pvp
@Beecels I am of the thought that any PvP without collision detection is pretty worthless and basically degrades quickly into who can kill the healer first. I prefer any PvP where collision allows for strategic placement of groups. I did a lot of PvP in WoW for giggles but my main focus was in games like WAR and shooters.
@Beecels your all fucking stupid PRE BC was when this game was right... The fact that you more than likely didnt obtain any loot would more than likely be because u were benched every MC or targeted 1st in BG's =D
@Beecels Wow, why do people always say that the PvP is unbalanced? It has very balanced PvP. I have a hunter, and I have killed rogues and been killed by rogues. WoW doesn't have the BEST PvP out there, but I find it balanced and enjoyable.
I just want to say something, and don't get me wrong because I loved pre BC. But I need to clear up a misconception or idea that players seem to have. With the exception of pvp, gear was much much more promeninent then than it is now. In Vanilla WoW a players' rotation consisted of only a few spells, auto attack was a huge part of their dps, so gear was extremely relative to success.
pre BC was the best, I started playing in TBC but still, the pre bc gear looks so much better and the skills of players was so much better cause there wasn't this whole your gear like sucks thing, and with wotlk the gs(man that sucks)...I want to get back to the old days of WOW, screw the lich king, Screw illidan, bring us to the times before nerves and stupid patches nobody liked..
Gearscore was around in pre-bc too. Some people just didn't have the addon for it. Also, GS is a measure of someone's ABILITY to pull a certain amount of dps or ability to withstand big hits from a raid boss, or ability to keep up a raids health for an entire fight. It's not a skill measurement. It's just a basis of "4.6k gs and above is CAPABLE of doing ToC10" etc. etc. It's just fact. People who think they can do ICC10 in 4k gs are just being ignorant.
I look up to those that played vanilla but sadly i my highest lvl toon during vanilla was a 24 tauren hunter on my friends account that never got xfered to mine do to money so i made a BE hunter and whith my friends help on his BE holly pally 2 maned MC and got my hunter quest item and killed the 4 got my black dragon sinew and got the quiver for the hell of it :P don,t hate me for having a BE hunter i want to swap race to a tuaren

i tried WOTLK after it was out for a year or something but i didnlt like it. Maybe also because i gave up on raiding and realized that wow absorbs way to much time when you get 18.

As do I, this epic weapon belongs to only a player that played in vanilla they are the ones that deserve to have this :) I still own my staff from 40 man naxx :) and that Is a treasurable weapon since theres only a handful left in all of wow

Yup, I still come back to watch these movies. Vanilla WoW was one of the best times I have had in a video game. Once I started playing the expansions my playtime decreased. Now, I am done... had some great times with IDI and Valeo

Took me 9 months of running The Molten Core weekly to get both bindings.... Got the Garr one about 2 months in. The one off Baron is a pain. by the time I had both I'd secured all the other components. Did the windseeker the following weekend... even at 80 thunderfury is a blast!
After approx. 4 months of solo farming Geddon and Garr (easily done as a protection paladin), I've finally got both bindings. I'm already sitting on 6 Elementium Bars, and this Monday, I'm taking guildmates with me into BWL to get the last 4 Ores.
Nah I don't think this quest have been removed tbh. You just have to farm Mc to get the two halfs, but the dropp chance is so low you would not even want to try fram it.
Irishdemonic is still registered on the Khaz Modan server but most active members and the leader have moved to Valeo. Beerz is still in the guild as inactive as I havent played in a long time.
Well you'd think they'd want to keep expanding and having their membership #s increase massively. They have increased greatly, but if Blizzard put a lot of work into these expansions and placed them further between, they'd have more people joining and less quitting, equaling a massive increase in players, servers, and money up the yang for Blizzard. They could also do servers dedicated to each expansion. I'd love to play Pre-BC again. :)

Although, if you weren't in a raiding guild then yes, no one cared about how geared you were. (But in Vanilla WoW you didn't raid outside of a guild)

Gearscore was around in pre-bc too. Some people just didn't have the addon for it. Also, GS is a measure of someone's ABILITY to pull a certain amount of dps or ability to withstand big hits from a raid boss, or ability to keep up a raids health for an entire fight. It's not a skill measurement. It's just a basis of "4.6k gs and above is CAPABLE of doing ToC10" etc. etc. It's just fact. People who think they can do ICC10 in 4k gs are just being ignorant.

I look up to those that played vanilla but sadly i my highest lvl toon during vanilla was a 24 tauren hunter on my friends account that never got xfered to mine do to money so i made a BE hunter and whith my friends help on his BE holly pally 2 maned MC and got my hunter quest item and killed the 4 got my black dragon sinew and got the quiver for the hell of it :P don,t hate me for having a BE hunter i want to swap race to a tuaren

yeah those where the good old times altough my gear was just mostly UBRS and PVP gear i earned by ranks and the only raid i ever raided was zul gurub i loved it.. crap how long has it been?3 years?
i loved TBC alot to with daily's and raiding alot off Karazhan and others until Tempest keep.
i tried WOTLK after it was out for a year or something but i didnlt like it. Maybe also because i gave up on raiding and realized that wow absorbs way to much time when you get 18.
still good old times...

As do I, this epic weapon belongs to only a player that played in vanilla they are the ones that deserve to have this :) I still own my staff from 40 man naxx :) and that Is a treasurable weapon since theres only a handful left in all of wow

My bank is FULL with epics. I throw away 80 junk so I can keep 60. No trashdrops from Naxx sadly, but omg, my full Tier 2.5 <3

Yup, I still come back to watch these movies. Vanilla WoW was one of the best times I have had in a video game. Once I started playing the expansions my playtime decreased. Now, I am done... had some great times with IDI and Valeo

Took me 9 months of running The Molten Core weekly to get both bindings.... Got the Garr one about 2 months in. The one off Baron is a pain. by the time I had both I'd secured all the other components. Did the windseeker the following weekend... even at 80 thunderfury is a blast!

After approx. 4 months of solo farming Geddon and Garr (easily done as a protection paladin), I've finally got both bindings. I'm already sitting on 6 Elementium Bars, and this Monday, I'm taking guildmates with me into BWL to get the last 4 Ores.

Nah I don't think this quest have been removed tbh. You just have to farm Mc to get the two halfs, but the dropp chance is so low you would not even want to try fram it.

Irishdemonic is still registered on the Khaz Modan server but most active members and the leader have moved to Valeo. Beerz is still in the guild as inactive as I havent played in a long time.

Well you'd think they'd want to keep expanding and having their membership #s increase massively. They have increased greatly, but if Blizzard put a lot of work into these expansions and placed them further between, they'd have more people joining and less quitting, equaling a massive increase in players, servers, and money up the yang for Blizzard. They could also do servers dedicated to each expansion. I'd love to play Pre-BC again. :)
