hi! stumbled upon your channel and saw this longchamp collection of yours, very nice! however, i am a bit confused, if you look at the longchamp website the LC that you have(model) is not in the website at all, and it looks more like a planetes.

Do you realise your second bag is called "Le Pliage" because you can fold it? To fold is "plier" in French. And your first bag is not from the line "modèle déposé", but it is a Planète model (sturdier, not foldable, one colour). "Modèle déposé" more or less refers to a patent on the model by Longchamp. It's a registered design and has nothing to do with the name of the bag. Even fashion is complicated :)

@xYasminR, MakiLama, I like my LC bags in the beginning, but these bags won't last long. If you use it everyday, you will have the holes on the corner of the bottom of the bag.

I love the bags, I wish they could use a better quality of material that they use now.

I just wanted to tell you that MODELE DEPOSE is not the name of the bag ! It actually means Registered Design and it's written on every single Longchamp Bag. So just for you to know the first bag is from "Planète" line and the others are from "Pliage" line.

i've only had my le pliage bag for 4 days and it already has wrinkles in the material, can someone tell me why this happened or how to fix it? ps i'm not referring to the wrinkles formed from it being folded

@sarachel06078 yeahh, i completely understand what you mean. One of my longchamp bags has the same problem. And its because the inside fabric is separating from the outside fabric. But unfortunately there is no way to fix it. Try not carrying really heavy stuff in it and it will avoid more damage.

@lovealwayskatie yes, it would. for me it can only fit a folder that is slightly flexible and a thin textbook. you can probably snap the closure over the binder but you won't be able to zipper it up.

Hey, I want to get one of the le pliage bags for my girlfriend. Basically as a replacement bag for the one she is currently using for university, she usually carries a fair amount of books around. But there are so many different sizes im not sure which one is good. Definitely needs to be big enough to fit books bigger than A4 size. Do you have any recommendations? A link would be great!

i think to fit an A4 binder fully and to be able to zip the bag without it looking funny you would need a large size.

i only know the two types of longchamp bags (the ones I have). so it really depends on the material you want.

@bloodshotview I've seen people do it at school and if you get the large longchamp it might be able to fit everything. :)

But I don't know how long the bag would last if you are constantly putting so much weight on the straps. I do think it is fine as long as you aren't always carrying heavy texts. the bag would be fine with just the laptop for sure
