my cat was stalking some invisible prey on the lawn today and there was a lot of traffic to mask the sound of my steps and it was really cloudy so i didn't have a shadow so i snuck up behind her really slowly and i reached down and grabbed her and she literally did a barrel roll and hissed and when she spun around and saw that it was me she got all docile, it was hilarious. but seriously, if you're going to scare your cat then just grab it. don't make a loud noise, you could hurt their ears.
