If you Could lift heavy weight you'd make loud noises or grunts, mirrors are useful in checking proper form and anyone making their body look better should use a mirror to check their progress, watching others lift is helpful in learning proper technique, supersets is useful especially during hypertrophy stages, and 10 mins on a bench is not long at all especially since their should be proper resting time.

Just find yourself a nice hole in the wall powerlifting or bodybuilding gym, and you don't have to worry about any of this shit. People there tend to be very supportive and respectful of eachother. The biggest mistake is going to a commercial gym and acting surprised when stuff like this happens. Most people there aren't taking themselves seriously.

Missed an important one. Guys, and I suppose some women, who walk around the locker room for waaaaaaay too long naked. It's not a freakin bathhouse, its a G-Y-M. You have a towel, do us all a favor and use it!!! I don't want to see your junk, and except for the other guys (or women) who also walk around naked for long periods of time, no one else does either. It's gross and creepy. Also, stay out of my personal space, which is multiplied 5X's from my normal parameters in such a situation.
1. guys who scream and carry on while they are doing their workout, shut up, use your testosterone to push through reps, not your voice.
2. guys who only doing 1 or 2 reps of a way to heavy weight, it isnt going to do any good, you are not going to tear much muscle if you are going to do that much
3. people that do way to heavy weight, and use shit all form, you aren't going to use the right muscle if you are going to go an swing the height up like that, Injury !
There's one guy at my local gym whom I call 'The guy who talks to everyone' because he talks to a lot of people and spends most of his time talking instead of training.
Gym habits that I find annoying:
1. People not wiping their sweat off.
2. People not putting the weights back in the rack.
3. People not grounding the dumbbells. (If the dumbbell falls, you could have a broken foot.)
4. People clinging on when using the treadmills. It's wrong, and you damage the machine.
Rule 13: Leave your cell phone in your locker. half the time you spend bs'ing is when you're getting in the way of people trying to get a decent workout.
Rule 14: Put your damn weights back when you're done!
Rule 15: If you're not benching, squatting or deadlifting, get OUT of the power rack.
Rule 16: If you're "supersetting", and the equipment you're using is in 2 separate freaking rooms, don't jump up my ass because I'm on the equipment you walked away from 5 minutes ago.
I know I'm sure some people just come to the gym for the many large mirrors while they socialize and FEEL big! Where I go it's often a whole bunch of young dudes crowded round a weight station talking and always having a little peek across each time I start a work set!

Missed an important one. Guys, and I suppose some women, who walk around the locker room for waaaaaaay too long naked. It's not a freakin bathhouse, its a G-Y-M. You have a towel, do us all a favor and use it!!! I don't want to see your junk, and except for the other guys (or women) who also walk around naked for long periods of time, no one else does either. It's gross and creepy. Also, stay out of my personal space, which is multiplied 5X's from my normal parameters in such a situation.

things that annoy me at gym.
1. guys who scream and carry on while they are doing their workout, shut up, use your testosterone to push through reps, not your voice.
2. guys who only doing 1 or 2 reps of a way to heavy weight, it isnt going to do any good, you are not going to tear much muscle if you are going to do that much
3. people that do way to heavy weight, and use shit all form, you aren't going to use the right muscle if you are going to go an swing the height up like that, Injury !

There's one guy at my local gym whom I call 'The guy who talks to everyone' because he talks to a lot of people and spends most of his time talking instead of training.
Gym habits that I find annoying:
1. People not wiping their sweat off.
2. People not putting the weights back in the rack.
3. People not grounding the dumbbells. (If the dumbbell falls, you could have a broken foot.)
4. People clinging on when using the treadmills. It's wrong, and you damage the machine.

Rule 13: Leave your cell phone in your locker. half the time you spend bs'ing is when you're getting in the way of people trying to get a decent workout.
Rule 14: Put your damn weights back when you're done!
Rule 15: If you're not benching, squatting or deadlifting, get OUT of the power rack.
Rule 16: If you're "supersetting", and the equipment you're using is in 2 separate freaking rooms, don't jump up my ass because I'm on the equipment you walked away from 5 minutes ago.

I know I'm sure some people just come to the gym for the many large mirrors while they socialize and FEEL big! Where I go it's often a whole bunch of young dudes crowded round a weight station talking and always having a little peek across each time I start a work set!
