BTW, Kubica in another high speed crash at a rally in Italy; seriously injured. Wish him the best!

  • @MrTimmyCahill Kubica is my favorite up-comer. He did really well end of last season. I was happy to see him in the Lotus / Renault (I drive Lotus), then this??? In a friggin Skoda??? After being the fastest man in Spain (Valencia test)??? Why doesn't he take up a safer hobby like juggling chainsaws???

  • Awww...I was not first.I was 993,212nd

  • @cirok89 no w sumie, nie interesuję się tak zbutnio formułą jeden

  • Shows you how SAFE f1 is!

  • In the following year he won the GP... What an irony ^^

  • He hit the wall at a much more acute angle than this reconstruction shows. The retaining wall was angled to allow emergency vehicles through. Lucky guy.

  • 754863th. Not 1st.

  • actually im the 753,362th to see this video

  • what they didn't show was his feet hanging out! you can clearly see it on the reruns of the crash from the live feed.

  • PvGsC - Please read one more time, its written July 1 at Magney Cours Kubi finished 4th ! Accident happen on June 10th, he did not race in US so what is your point ?

  • @IVIich4eL LOL! Dude...the wreck was in Canada... My friend was there at that corner watching the race... BRW... canada is not in the US.. Durr! -_-

  • @pupnasty BTW* Not BRW*

  • @pupnasty - What ? Canada vs. USA ? What the hell r u talking about? Who say anything about USA? He crashed on 10th in Canada, next week the 17th he was in the USGP, i seen him! He did not race but he was there on Thursday! from 9am to 10 / 10:30am at the INDY Hospital! for check up.. And after that they changed the names on the pits form Kubica to Vettel.. So what is your point?

And i was in Canada too, grandstand 33 to be exact

  • @IVIich4eL thanks for the info on what happened with Kubica after the crash. Good thing he is well and succesful on f1 nthe crash looked rly looked hardcore ;pp

  • @PvGsC you are so shame

  • Wicked video, I was there on the hairpin when it happened, scariest thing ever, crowd went completly silent, we were SURE that things were real bad, thankfully not

  • nasty....

  • he hits the car with stands there

  • Great video, good job 5 star :)

  • 0:22 WTF another car doing there?

  • Scott Speed had stopped some laps earlier, and actually sat in a chair only few metres away from where Kubica hit the first wall

  • The other car at 0.22 was safely in behind the wall parked.

  • nice one

  • of course its not live footage, it's 3D CGI you dumbfuck lmao

  • Thanks mate,we've been waiting 3 days to see if there was anyone in the world stupid enough to reply to that, you've done the USofA proud, keep it up!!! ha ha ha

  • knowing how retarded most of the users on youtube are, you can't tell when someone is being serious or not. kudos for being smarter than me though. and i'm not an american even though i live here

  • Just a joke mate,no worries

  • Hah I like your humour

  • cazzada

  • cool

  • Ah, in 1994 its could of been a death easily, infact, it would of. Look how thin the layer of metal around the start of f1-1997 cockpit compared to the 2009 cars.

    Kubica lucky!

  • layer of metal around the cockpit?????

yeah, i think your wrong there. The last time there would have been a layer of metal around the cockpit was the Ferrari in about 83 before they moved to carbon fibre, they were still using the aluminium sandwich construction.

As for saying it would have been a death..... its too hard to say. Senna shouldn't have died, it was a freak accident. Then have a look at Alliot's crash in Mexico 1988, he walked away, that was a big one....

  • when i saw this i was like oh shit we got a death i actually said that and my dad rushed in and cried, kubicas his fave

  • Lucky that he didn't die. :)

  • What the hell are you talking about? Was that a joke?

  • This video is based on real-life events at the Canadian Grand Prix Im sorry to say.

  • Yes? And so what? Last race in silverstone Kubica looked pretty healthy when he was driving. I really dont know what do you mean.

  • Oh please... stfu.

First you were saying that Kubica is dead, and now you noticed that you are wrong.

Now you're trying to be a nosie ass by trying to turn it into a joke.

    What a patethic looser.

  • No, shame on you.

    Go Kubica go!!!

  • 0:19 - He hit Scott Speed's car, not barrier!

  • are you blind or something? offcorse he hit the barrier... . -.-'

    Open Your Eyes

  • the orange bits highlight the parts that saved him.

  • oh shit 75G CRASH

you gotta to freaking me out

  • ok thx

  • Orange parts show what saved Pole.

  • what does the orange bit mean?

  • wow dude u made this?

  • inetressante. Bravo!

  • czy mi się wydaje - czy on cały czas (od początku) nie ma połówki przedniego skrzydła :D

  • Mocno Ci się wydaje.. mysle że jszcze jeden seans od początku do konca wyprowadzi cię z błędu

  • why want we see this

    this so fake

  • HAhaha ! What an ass you are !!

    Or 12 years old.

  • are you yoda? or can't you write your sentences properly

  • thank god hes alive

  • its a bit windy.....

  • magny cours isfrance...not canad...

  • what are you talking about?

  • 0:25 you can imagine him taking off into the sky, Back To the Future style xD

  • that's crap

  • nice music =]

  • Did Kubica's car REALLY flash like that during the crash?

  • you suck.. of course it didn't, use your brain!!

  • You suck.. use your brain!

  • am i the 1st to see it ???

  • OMG, I think you are!

  • if he experienced 75 G that means he weighed about 5,5 TONS!

  • LOL ! True! It was 7.5g prob..

  • no, it was 75, check where ever you want, on wikipedia! could you imagine that your body weighs 5,5 tons, incredible that he survived that!

  • 0_0

Remarkable ! But wouldn't his head crack or something ? Or his stomach burst !?

    =D

  • I realy don't know, astronauts on takeoff experience 8 G, so you can imagine 75,

  • no, it was 75! 7.5g is hard but nothing special

  • it was 75 instantaneous G's which is different from the 8 G's that are sustained going into space. I think the record for instantaneous G's and surviving is 210 in another F1 back in the turbo era.

  • Exactly, he only experienced 75 G's for a fraction of a second.

  • If you can still drive with 1 wheel, you are amazing.

  • u missed the other cars of it luizzi was right behind all that debris

  • This is RTL channel :)

  • which program did you use?

  • Senna hit the wall in about 320 km/t!

  • No 137 mph. Thats not 320 kmh.

  • Sorry, he drowe 320 kmh, but in some amazing way, braked down to 137 mph in 2 seconds

  • Okey you right.

  • Oh you are from norway. I am from sweden

  • If that was 75 G, how many G's was it when A. Senna crashed?

  • It couldn't be 75 g. No one would survive it. He lost some speed at the time of the impact, but he didn't stop right away, he was rolling over slowing down. Can't say how many Gs the impact was but for sure not 75.

  • Oooo please not again ! What is so hard to search the Google before you post ? You have a whole world under your fingers! use "search"

WHY PEOPLE ARE SO LAZY to find the FACTs ?

IT WAS 75G and stop the madness *LOL*

  • You can survive 75g. Humans have reached 100g before unless I'm mistaken, during air and spaceflight tests. Search around the internet for those old "rocket sleds" that tested acceleration and deceleration. Pretty crazy stuff.

  • David Purley survived an estimated 179.8 G's in 1977 when he decelerated from 173 km/h (108 mph) to 0 in a distance of 66 cm (26 inches) after his throttle got stuck wide open and he hit a wall.

  • u would think he would have died though. b4 he got out of the car i actually thought he died, and not because of the g forces. It was great to see him win the race in canada a year later. I am not a fan of robert, but it was awesome to see that he recovered from the crash.

  • o strazne !!!!

  • Straszny wypadek.Ale na tym filmie jest pokazane jak bezpieczne sa bolidy.

  • straszne :/

  • jeszcze nie pokazał wszystkiego brawo dla Roberta:)

  • miał pecha...

  • KAżdy czasem ma ;D

  • If you look closely, when he jumps off the track, and he hit that little protecting wall, it changed the angle of collision so he hit full front, instead of making an "Ayrton Senna" of himself ! 0:19

I deeply think that he didn't suffer any heavy injuries because of that. What do you think ?

  • I don't see and change of angle by him, he went straight to the protecting wall, after hiting it the car changed angle.

but before he jumps off the track I don't think he did any strafe to hit full front at least I don't see any in this video

  • I did not say that he tried consciously to avoid anything. (Anyway, he probably realized mid-air that he was going to crash !)

I said that, because it's attack angle changed a second before the impact, it probably saved he's brain from splashing inside his helmet.

And I think that there's a chance that he would have cut the car in a half by hitting the wall with the cockpit floor first. And he probably would have pass over it, hitting cars coming up of the airpin. Luckily...

  • if they had turned it 2 a space shuttle like he wanted in the 1st place he wouldnt of had 2 do it him self and keep a wheel

  • So amazing he survived with only a bruised ankle.
