Iain Simcock, the chap playing this, was the assistant master of music when i was a choir boy at Westminster Cathedral, 1990 - 1994... i must've heard him play this piece dozens of times whilst processing out of the cathedral at the end of Mass! Brings back some amazing memories hearing it again.
what was that a guy carrying a cross at the end ? that was wild. 150mph is fast i'm gonna be riding this highway in July i hope i dont get buzzed like that guy did. funny how you passed that car like he was standing still. LOL Drive safe
I really enjoyed this clip, thanks! What amazing landscapes you have over there.. I think I'd be constantly finding excuses to drive cross-country just to be able to feel this combined speed/intense-classical-music emotion! Another piece that comes to mind which would sound great in this context would be the final movement from Brahms's Piano Quartet No. 1
I'm glad you enjoyed it. I'm debating whether the next one I do will have the music dubbed in to avoid the road noise.
Most people think of the damp, mossy, rainy northwest of Oregon as representative of the whole state, but the dryer places east of the Cascades has some magnificent, expansive scenery and very little road traffic. There are huge lakes, deserts, forests, grassy plains, and the Wallowa Montains that look somewhat like the Swiss Alps.
Sorry! I just sold my G4 last weekend and my MiG 29 is in the shop over in Novosibirsk, so I'm just driving for the time being. I'd really rather record this song inside St. Ouen Cathedral in Rouen.
Excellent. As a former Beretta owner, and current organist, this is one solid video.

Cool car, great music.
Were you concerned about hitting (or being hit by) a deer?

This piece is traveling music indeed, I always thought. Great idea. It's slow-loading though.
