These Shows Were great Kids Shows ! I loved them Back then & The Other one Far out Space Nuts Too! . I know they need to bring back Sat. Morning Kids shows . And Get rid of these Book Selling & Get Rich Shows .
Yes. There's a good reason this show lasted 16 episodes. Although, you gotta admit, there's some small pleasure in hearing Jim Nabors get self-referential and drop a "goooolly!"
@kneejerker Lol TRUE, I think he used that same phrase in "Gomer Piles" I used too laughed at the name of that show always made me think of itchy hemorrhoids ever heard the phrase...ya got itchy piles pass the preparation H. Hey speaking of preparation H my son when when was about 7 he had itchy piles and thought he grabbed Preparation H instead got the Ben Gay tube WOW ! he came down to my B.R. and yelled dad! My but hurts ! lol I called 1-800 # they said soak him in luke warm H2O
@TheDarkThunder LOL, You just gotta love the fake clinking metal sound when they are both trying to get into the doorway together at 1:06. Then this is followed by the red foam blocks shooting out of the wall. Yeah, it certainly has cheese written all over it, but it had is charm too. After all the Saucer itself was a pretty cool looking set. Not bad for a written for syndicate TV kids show in 1975. There certainly was much worse put out by the Krofft Brothers back in the day.
Hoping Vivendi Home Entertainment to pick up DVD rights to "The Lost Saucer: The Complete Series" since Rhino Home Video is no longer carrying the DVD rights to "The World of Sid and Marty Krofft" collection.
It would be wonderful the have this 1970s series to become available for the first time on DVD from Rhino Home Video.
I asked them if they could release "The Lost Saucer: The Complete Series" on DVD with all episodes shown including interviews with the cast, audio commentaries by the cast including Sid & Marty Krofft, themselves.
Another good classic as a part of "The World of Sid & Marty Krofft" collection.
Ruth Buzzi....Yum.
