As far as I am aware the koran encourages the muslim to abide by the laws of the country they find themselves in so I can't see what the fuss is about. Clearly the swiss people have spoken and the law should be accepted whatever we may think about it. Whilst its fairly unimportant wether minarets exist in Switzerland its quite nice to see islam being told NO over something. No one is stopping a muslim from being a muslim they are just stopping it being shoved in their faces.

I think in today's world, freedom of religion and expression has gone way to far, and personally should be limited, limited to the home. I have travelled almost all islamic countries in the past 30 Years.

I have stopped talking with the people there about religion. Because I had to feel on my own body that religious dissidents are regarded and treated as pagans. Several times I was threatened with the death.
