Yeah right Hexagon is the best $150 3D modelling program out there. You guys can't compare this program with Maya or Max. This program isn't $3000 nitwits.

Yeah I remembered that after I made the tutorial. I don't work in Hexagon that much so this is sort of a learning experinece for me also. I am constantly having to recheck things since i work in about 4 different programs. Sometimes I look for a menu that exists only in another program or try to do an operation that doesn't exist. Thanks for the feedback.

I think if you go up to the upper left box "selection" and choose world (in the drop down box) you probably could use points or edges...and not have to worry about the slope of the points or edges.
