  • Dr. Hatings Kamuzu Banda was a great leader, the man who make malawi indipendent from the yoke of the colonization, the right man at right time...but also a fierce dictator, a murder (for the Mwanza trial not only Tembo is guilty but Banda, Tembo and Kadzamira indirectly) and a friend of the white supremacist South Africa

    @Mawanga I agree with you

  • kamuzu ndi wakunja.

    kamuzu onama.--

  • I am the son of Chipembere. I could tell you a different story!

  • I am the son of Chipembere... There are lots of Malawians hiding from the truth here. Enough said!

  • I think he was not a stupid guy , given the resources available in Malawi . Im not from Malawi . Im Angolan but from what I know the he was able to keep some sort of economic order in his nation. The only problem was is good relationship with the apartheid regime.

  • he was not responsible for the murders it was tembo

  • As long as you did as he said you would be alright

but when or if you spoke bad about him you would end up dead in the shire river or in the mikuyu prison.

You still can't deny that he did alot for Malawi, but was he really from Malawi?

  • Banda was not a killer but the men around him like the mgwirizano candidate john tembo and mind your language kiki2801 you are being an embicile and portraying a picture of a fool

  • chimunthu chonyasa....chokupha fuck this stupid old sick guy

  • whatever mistakes he did, I think he deserve to be honoured. Taking us out of the azungu colonialism. That's fantastic. Let's just build the malawi nation....

  • He was focking filthy ass succker,,, who do not deserve to be called a leader, typical filthy Bantu tribal cheif, ,,,how could you glorify such a loser,,

only Botuswana, Ghana, Mali,, Senigal Tanzania, South africa and Mozanbique

use to have or still have good leaders.

  • I don't think that such language should be condoned about Kamuzu. For us Malawians he was the greatest leader whe have ever had, a leader with a vision and heart for well being of his people. I think to call Kamuzu filthy is bad and I believe if you are a Malawian then you dont know what Malawi was like in 1964

  • "only Botuswana, Ghana, Mali,, Senigal Tanzania, South africa and Mozanbique

use to have or still have good leaders."

I could challenge you on all of these countries except Botswana and South Africa. With regards to Mozambique, I think you should some history, mate. Have you ever heard of Rev. Uriah Simango? or Dr. Simeo? or Father Gwenjere? or Lazaro N'kavandame? Amos Sumane? Ribero? the killing fields of Mtelela? the re-education camps?operation production? Read your history, mate.

  • Lets remmember and follow the original dream of Kamuzu.

  • At least he tried his best.

  • KAMUZU WAS A GOOD LEADER.minus NGUMAYO. miniskirts, bellbottoms, long hair,no trousers for women all these were barred. it was a wonderful time.

he barred export of staple diet food. .maize, red kidney beans & cabbage.

with his young pioneers, youth league,& mbumba

was agreat help to the police.

devious muwalo ngumayo who of course met his

    deserved fate,

at times i think he should have resighned like

nyerere & kaunda. would be remembered

    as good by all.

  • Banda was a nutter!

  • from 3:11 that is my grand father translating for Kamuzu

  • they say Banda was a killer..
