  • Great cut and paste classic! AND the Legendary Disco Patrick! Thanks for adding the images for the corresponding tracks, it's very helpful and a nice touch.

  • 92 KTU played this a few times in late '82. By the way, for those following the images, and pardon me if I'm pointing out something that's been already acknowledged, but the first time "Walking on Sunshine" appears, that's the original Eddy Grant version.

  • wow, wat memories, this was the rarest song back in the day. I'm gonna say 1982 to 1984 is when i first heard this mega mix, i was 10 or so lol

  • yes it's remix the best mix of that song.

  • this is the bigest mistery in all mixes who make it a lot of people are trying to get the credit for the vol 1.

  • Mystery solved.

Both Big Apple Production were mixed by two brazilian djs that lived in NYC during the 80's: Julinho Mazzei and Tuta Aquino. Julinho was already there by the late 70's and ran "The Big Apple Show", aired on brazilian radio, from NY - he would record and send the tapes. Then Tuta Aquino went to NY to meet Julinho and they eventually began to produce. They've played their mixes around 82, 83 on the "Paco's Super Mix" on WKTU - Paco knicknamed them as "The Kids From Brazil".

  • Sorry, Big Apple 2 was produced by them with Albert Cabrera and Tony Moran. But the 1st vol. was entirely mixed by "The Brazilian Kids".

  • Joe Causy used to play this once in a while on KTU 103.5 Sunday evenings... best Mix ever

  • BIG PROPS discopatricknl FOR SHAREING THIS VERY RARE AMERICAN GEM
