  • what kind of gauge are you using to time 0-60 run?

  • @SkeletorRhys1993 It's Edge Juice with Attitude

  • "not too bad"?. That's faster than a mustang.

  • Holy shit I just came after watching this cummins... nice run man haha

  • I cant imagine how much smoke it produced during that run

  • WOW! And WOW AGAIN! Excellent for such a vehicle. I bet people cannot believe when you beat them at the lights! WOOOOW!

  • I'd like to buy another diesel pickup someday and so far only the Rams with the Cummins appeals to me. That was a nice 0-60 run...noticed you launched in 4x4 to prevent wheelspin. :)

  • w.....t....f.....

  • Wats done to ur tans????

  • @09ThaCarter billet input, output shafts, torque converter, valve body, new gears, flex plate, deep oil pan

  • @ASectorgaza hahha wow man this thing is gonna run forever lol

  • cool machine. :)

  • About* doh

  • Either way, I think my dually is abound the same 1/4 mile with a 5.0ish 0-60. Maybe I'm just a lot slower off the line? Nice truck.

  • I got 4.7?..

  • @z24supercharged I speak 3 languages and graduated kansas scholar, far from a redneck, with your generalized statement you just put half US population in that category.

  • @ASectorgaza

    lol kansas

  • @snorkelinatv08 was there an and part to this comment? you can't have something for nothing

  • @snorkelinatv08 my dadas 04 has had a chip in it since 30k miles and now it has 310k so looks like your wrong

  • WOW

  • Hopefully that tranny is built to handle 1200 ft. lbs of torque. If it isn't it will have to be very soon!

  • @bcboy787 that's where it all started, with a simple transmission build

  • @ASectorgaza Well thank god at least some people know how to build things right! Everything's gonna crater if ya give it that much power without building it up right in the first place.

  • I could listen to a cummins at 2k rpm all day

  • now just remember that was 0 to 60 mph not km

  • why did u have un 4wd

  • @sdbaseballer2 because of 1200+ pounds of torque.

  • @ASectorgaza but in the desctiption it says it was set to stock for this vid, which means you had 610 ft lbs not 1200.... seems a little fast for me, my stock '05 cummins is definately not 4 seconds lol

  • @PkwyDr edge is useless compare to the other two chips that I have on it

  • fast

  • Oh ok, I was wrong then i didn't know you could stack chips. Im also have never really got into diesel. I was was wondering if you could help me out though actually i just bought a 2006 cummins 5.9 mega cab and i have neem looking at programmers. Is it worth it to spend 500-600 for the actuall moniter so you can ready all your egts ect. I was thinking about just going with thr predater since i can get it for 275. I was also wondering is it safe to put it on the street tune

  • what chip you got?

  • @ErolDowney edge, predator and smarty

  • @ASectorgaza whatt? thats sickk

  • I guess im the only one that noes anything about cars or trucks on here

  • @caleb20091 you should be a comedian. since you are such a genius when it comes to matters of automobiles, lets see...description says edge is set to stock and yet with you absolute powers of perception it didn't occur to you that this truck may have more than one chip...oh wait a second it has 3. let me congratulate you for being in a league of your own. don't run your mouth about people you don't know, you like aviation and yet can't get past your tunnel vision.

  • I have never heard of different chips you can have different settings but if you have injectors or running different boost all the that would return with your stock setting

  • @caleb20091 stacking chips is one of the best ways to gain power, smarty is a downloader, and predator is a separate pressure box, edge is mild chip and is in constant contact with your cpu and that's one of two reasons why I kept it, one its does decent enough job keeping track of egts boost and so on, and two when it's in stock setting it doesn't mess with things but will still over ride anything you have to stock when you go beyond your de-fuel setting or limits that you set on it.

  • this is bullshit stock settings would run probably 9 sec

  • @caleb20091 devil is in the detail, read into previous posts and you will want to retract your comment.

  • It may be fast at accelerating.. But my 1.2L Renault will eat it around a track ( they have these things called corners)

  • @liamcollister needless to say you missed the point of this video but what the hell, on separate note make sure you leave your renault on the track otherwise you may get ran over by accident in that batmobile of yours.

  • i have the same truck same chip what else do you have. thats sweet

  • @waynerzman HTT turbo and Intercooler, intake and exhaust manifolds, colr air intake, lift pump and stage 3 pump, studs, F1 injectors, water methanol, nitrous, smarty and predator chips, fully built transmission, head studs, valve springs, and whatever else I left out.

  • you probly aread got this question but i dont wanna look for it. do you have billet or hardened input and output shafts?

  • @J04D8N91 billet for both, when you are talking about hardened are you referring to cryogenics? my stock output lasted for a while

  • thats crazy, how did you get it so fast?

  • @skewman14 1300+ pounds of torque and a bit of money

  • @ASectorgaza wowwww lol

  • whats that device u use to take time? An ordinary GPS??

  • @k0nan It's Edge with Attitude in cab controller, came with first performance chip I purchased

  • @ASectorgaza where can I buy it online? Ebay perhaps? Thanks for the quick answer!

  • @k0nan here is their web site, which will give you all the part numbers and applications, as well as the price, after that just search online, ebay has them as far as I know, you ought to be able to find a better price than their web site. edgeproducts com

  • @1998F150WES best I have on video is 12.5 for two reasons, first time around a blown head gasket, and after that I was told to slow down by track officials otherwise I would need a roll cage. Still waiting to do a full run with nitrous and methanol.

  • @ASectorgaza dont know why they are telling you that you need a cage for those times. a cage is needed for 11.49 or better. i ran a 12.1 and they didnt say a thing to me. all i had was my helmet.

  • @davidram2500 one of the guys at the track saw my nitrous bottle and ratted me out, after that one of the tech guys came up to me and was asking me if I ran it yet, I made a mistake of telling him no. He saw my previous runs and told me that I will need a roll cage if I plan on using shot of nitrous and meth.

  • @ASectorgaza wow your track sucks lol they never said anything about my bottle either.

  • Cummins and diesel truck isnt for racing....if wanna use a pickup to race then get a Dodge Ram SRT-10 instead

  • @7150285 what's the point of doing something obvious? there are plenty of diesels that are used for racing and daily driver application, as well as engine swaps, especially in s-10 and those run 9s quarter mile day in and day out, yes I have a truck that isn't intended for drag racing, but if I am going to drop 50k on a truck I might as well have more use out of it then seating pretty like srt-10. I have nothing against mopar, but 8.3L and no go is not for me.

  • Comment removed

  • @ASectorgaza well, i gotta admit I love cummins as well but maybe for its torque, pulling power, and the boost launch acceleration, but if its a high speed race such as 100 mph+ or even 120 mph+.....then i probably would consider mopar as the right tool

  • @7150285 no, you are right, it takes a set of good nerves to take a 3 ton truck to go 130+ , and a death wish at that point, but for practicality and as a "sleeper" vehicle per say this thing is hell of a lot of fun, it pays for itself and I get to have a little fun when I disappoint clowns in their midlife crisis cars. I've done everything I can on this thing at this point, at least to some degree, so off to my next project a 1971 Barracuda, maybe do a 4BT conversion on it or stick to mopar.

  • wow!!! thats fuckin amazing! even for any vehicle that thats time amazing..great vid

  • fast but takes some big money, cool video though

  • and that's 6 seconds according to the video timer

  • @ronaldjfletcher if you noticed, just because the rpm gauge moved, the spedometer didnt. i counted just under five seconds with the video timer 0:23-0:28. it was definately way under 6 seconds

  • im sorry but bud you didnt do 4.3 0-60 on a stock tune in a stock truck..

  • @plane45036 : you are right I didn't, description says that edge is set on stock, as for everything else it's past stock part, it takes a lot of torque to get a 3 ton truck moving this fast.

  • @ASectorgaza its still bullshit end of story i own a fucking 24v far from stock

  • @plane45036 ...as much fun as it is arguing with every webksta here on youtube, how about I just provide you with some food for thought on this topic and then ignore your comments from then on. For one video speaks for itself, second don't fuck your 24v it might perform better, third your truck is not far enough from stock, and finally may be it just needs a better driver. Stop by Heartland Park sometimes, will gladly run against your 24valve.

  • @ASectorgaza haha plus commonsrails are already considerably quicker then 24 valves, (isb vp44 im assuming) and this truck is not un-believable. sick? yes. but very plausable. this common rail, like all common rails, benifit more from tuning then 24 valves. smarty on a 24 valve? 90 horse, more like 65 at wheels. common rail? 170. point taken?

  • i counted 6 secs , but whatever

  • what do you have in there?

  • @TimG11L ...when this video was made not too many aftermarket parts; now just about everything that's available for it, in some way, shape or form. one of the original posts should have an original list.

  • @TheJared966 4 inch MBRP

  • @ASectorgaza Nice truck boss

  • @TheJared966 thanks...few more weeks and this thing will be beyond stupid

  • @ASectorgaza

Stupid fast is so much fun though.

  • @2007Escalade cops love me, I help them make their mortgage payments day in and day out

  • beast

  • jesus.my friend just got a 04? mega cab ram with the cummins and he raced my friends audi a4 with 260hp and the ram won by a lot lol

  • @crzygutrsnobrdr it's all about torque and being able to utilize it...new 6.7's will eventually be insane, as for my engine I am doing a complete rebuild now, with a lot of internal parts either being replaced or modified....hopefully I can test it out in few weeks and post that video, with u joint braces in place.

  • @ASectorgaza that will be insaine, its crazy seeing how fast diesel's are.my friend just wants to do chip and eventually exhaust..but im saying I/C/E would b super quick

  • damn...

  • You could keep up with a 6.2 vette.

  • dude that faster then a viper hole shi+ nice vid

  • You got my same Programmer just wish I could do 0-60 in 4.3 LOL

  • @MrRagingbull83 I use edge as a all in one monitoring device, it's not aggressive enough to be useful to me anymore, but it is a good start. Get a Smarty with a good pressure box, then that 3 ton truck is going to feel like a bullet.

  • Cummins: Harnessing The Power of Thor Since 1919

  • 0-60 in 4.3 is "not too bad?" Dang, man. I don't think I've ever ridden in a vehicle that can do that. That's haulin' ass.

  • Wow, Amazing Acceleration! How many horse did you make?

  • Wow, Is is really fast truck! Fantastic acceleration! How many horse did you make? How did you make more power on chip? Is your chip on your 0-60 times?

I have same as yours and Just got this kind of truck in week ago and I am new to this. Mines is 2005 Dodge Ram 2500 Diesel 6.7L I6.

  • @kenneykole with this chip I only gained around 90hp...so it is a good starting mod, I keep it as a monitoring tool now, i am not a fan of gauges so this thing is all in one, if you build you truck up a bit more, starting with transmission then get a hold of a smarty then you will definitely notice a difference....when I did that run I was only making around 650 to 700hp

  • @kenneykole not tryin to bash u but 6.7 liter was not released until mid 2007...

    which fact is wrong...

  • definately has alot more then a chip, built trans, injectors and turbo to move like that

  • @f44life come on, not this again, nothing in the description says that truck is stock, all it says is that edge is on stock setting, as for everything else read previous comments.

  • @ASectorgaza HTT turbo and Intercooler, intake and exhaust manifolds, colr air intake, lift pump and stage 3 pump, studs, F1 injectors, water methanol, nitrous, smarty and predator chips, fully built transmission, head studs, valve springs, and whatever else I left out.

    ASectorgaza 4 months ago

why didnt you put that shit in the text instead of stock edge 0 to 60?

    Impressive i got a 98.5 i run 6.8 0 to60mph 2wd with just edge hot,exhaust and intake o its a 5spd also

  • How big of tires? lol. Probably got the calibration way off... hahaha

  • @dirtbikemike69 tires are only 1 inch larger then stock. and edge is calibrated for it. Take a look at some of the posts and you will find what has been modified, it says nowhere that this is accomplished with just a chip.

  • @ASectorgaza Ohhh ok.. I misread. It is a DAMN fast truck.. nice work building it.

  • just fyi those edge chips are usually off by up to 1 second. i just clocked it with a stopwatch and got 4.83 seconds. still VERY fast for a truck. thats faster than my 96 trans am was at 5.6 seconds. but if your best was 4.1 according to that edge, you really ran a 4.6 second run. so now you know how far off your edge is. it is .5 seconds off. but dont worry, its not just yours, they all are. and usually its .5 and rarely 1 second but ive seen it before.

  • DAM

  • how much u bought those? how u like it?

  • @bighooksdaddy85 I bought a lot of things for this truck, what are you referring to?

  • @ASectorgaza look my videos of my 02 24v cummins with slightly mods

  • how much u bought those? how u like it?

  • is your 12.8s in the 1/4 with the nitrous?

  • @davidram2500 nope, that's on fuel alone.

  • how many power?

  • what a truck ! damn ! what is the name of the module you use to calculate your 0 to 60s ?

  • Edge with Attitude

  • "not too bad 4.3 seconds".

lol thats faster than BMW M5.

  • @fentonjd haha hes beating "supercars" with that time

  • @fentonjd and he claims the edge was on stock...

  • @jmanwild ... it actually is on stock, as a performance chip it is junk, but as an all in one monitoring device it is a good alternative to numerous gauges, at the same time I've said nothing about not running any other chip on it, like ammmm I don't know may be a smarty in a combination with a dr. p....

  • @ASectorgaza crazy

  • @ASectorgaza explain why this beats are so fast? like what figures of power are they making... it jsut blows my mind!

  • @halflife103 ....it's all about being able to utilize torque...a brand new 2011 diesel is putting down 760 lb of torque, now granted its' at a crank, but nonetheless, and with few modifications you can easily be in 1200+ range with 700hp and have a daily driver that will go beyond 200k miles. the catch is to find a good medium so that you have plenty of power and no turbo lag, but other than that it's torque torque and more torque.

  • @ASectorgaza hmm okay cool.

  • @ASectorgaza KEEPING SECRETS

  • whats your tip for spooling up. i have a 2002 2550 24 valve

  • @jstett1 some people just floor it while holding brake I prefer to tap it, so that turbo is not quite spooled up but still ready to take off when you do floor it (assuming we are talking about street "driving", if at the track then I do same thing while I am pulling up to the tree and then floor it a second before tree comes on), depending on your set up try not go above 15 psi just for realibility purposes.

  • ah thanks, one thing i can over rev 1st gear because of my bully dawg chip, so i turn off overdrive and it goes through all the gears fine

  • have you done any work to your valve body?

  • sick truck!!

    i'll do that someday!

  • guy sounds kinna nerdy

  • Who cares what he sounds like?

  • What all do you have done to this?

  • HTT turbo and Intercooler, intake and exhaust manifolds, colr air intake, lift pump and stage 3 pump, studs, F1 injectors, water methanol, nitrous, smarty and predator chips, fully built transmission, head studs, valve springs, and whatever else I left out.

  • What size injectors? I assume with Valve Springs you're running the TNT-R smarty tune?

  • you got it, race tune from mads and flux 3.1 injectors from F1

  • Thats cool man. Yeah what size turbo you running? Those injectors can make gobs of power with proper tuning and air charge

I am running flux 2.5 and I made 791 on fuel alone. First dyno ever was 674 on only 50lbs of BOOST lol.... I

  • nice rig bro. Gotta love the cummins power. Check my vid out. I am only running my Smarty tune on sw5 and nothing else. but yeah. check it out.

  • what will she do in 2 wheel drive???

  • right now I have 12.5 in wide tires and with boosted take off I will burn out through all gears in 2wd, unless I get wide slicks, I wouldn't be able to tell you.

  • Yeah. I roast all 4 tires in mine in my video. There is no way your rig would hook up either....lol nice video

  • damn

  • Edge sucks, try a H&S extreme sometime, you'll be shocked!

  • oh yeah I am well aware of that, but it is a good monitoring tool, as for a programmer I used smarty in combination with a predator for that run.

  • Yup, copy that

  • awesome man, whats all done besides edge.....juice w/ att?

  • smarty, predator, htt turbo and intercooler, dtt transmission, cold air intake, mbrp exhaust, intake and exhaust manifolds, f1 injectors, stage 3 fuel bump, fass, methanol, nitrous, and whatever else I forgot.

  • Damn. I bet that's a bad truck! That's the stuff to make your truck fly. Got any tranny work?

  • that's what actually started it all, I had an issue with it and Floor it Diesel built me a DTT transmission, billet torque converter, billet input and output shafts, custom valve body, deep oil pan, new flex plate (ended up shredding old one).

  • @ASectorgaza yahhh. My friend has a build alot like that on his tranny. Billet rebuild after he completely fried his, when he dropped it in 2nd gear on the column at 100 passing a big rig. hahaha :D

  • thats definately not 4.3 seconds, just watching the vid timer, its 6ish seconds, thats still fast but, you gotta have more than a chip n an exhaust to make a cummins do 0-60 faster than 5 seconds. It ain't a 08 6.4L with a 275hp tune that can do 0-60 around 5 seconds

  • make a video of an 08 powerstroke with just a tuner and an exhaust doing 0-60 in 5seconds. Otherwise I am going to have to say that's crap.

  • @PowerStrokeDieselz I agree. Your saying with just a chip, your truck is running the same 0-60 as a Viper, faster than a new Z28, faster than a 2001 Z06, I could go on... This is BS.

  • not too bad, lol thats fast as shit.

  • Hoooolllly S.H.I.T. that was badass. Fuckin A. Dude, remind me not to drag race a turbo diesel. But doesn't flooring it like that hurt the diesel engine?

  • everything mechanical will fail eventually and as for a cummins engines or any diesel, they are not build for high rpm, can't have something for nothing. got to pay to play.

  • Damn, that's too bad. Still, your vid has convinced me to not race TDs. I mean, I heard they were unusually fast... but that was like... maybe better than a ZO6!

  • 4.3 seconds is not to bad? thats off the wall awesome, for a 6000 pound truck thats definatly a keeper, sweet truck bro

  • only reason why u got 4.3 is cause of 4wd now do a 2wd run

  • noah daaaaaa because of 4x4, you can't utilize all that torque without it. I can tell you what will happen if I do a boosted take off in 2wd, I will become a burn out through all gears.

  • yea its still pretty sweet though lol

  • @ASectorgaza That really depends on your tires. Drop that motor in a Short bed single cab 1500 and throw some drag slicks on it. :D That's a bitchin truck right there.

  • I've seen an s10 with a 600 series cummins in it and that thing demolished 1/4 mile...ran 9 flat...guy said he lost traction otherwise would have ran much faster.

  • Shit. that's pretty awesome. I just prefer gas trucks to diesels. I like the lighter feeling of it.

  • you are right about that...these things are not the most agile when it comes down to overall control.

  • unfortunately this is nothing more then mileage mods going out of control, I have to maintain some level of daily use on this thing, towing and such....not sure how much longer I will be able to do that, since now I am very much so interested in 1000hp mark.

  • watched your gas gauge drop faster than ur rpms lol jk my dad has an 06 ram 2500 hd wit a 5.7 hemi, dat thing hauls ass even wit a trailer on it

  • uhhh, im impressed actuallly.

  • yea they didnt get a really different interior till 2006

  • nice truck, but thats not an 05. the 05 interior looks different thats an older body style you have

  • come on now, I have already had a conversation regarding this with someone else, this is an 05, I can give you vin and you can verify it yourself.

  • @ASectorgaza ill take your word for it. my mistake

  • holy shit this is fast

  • @everynameistaken567 yes it is. I have an 05 ram, and my gauges are identical to these in the video.

  • Now thats Torque 4 u !!

  • Finally someone who gets its why this kind of 0-60 is possible for a 7000lb diesel.

  • that's not too bad??? hol ycrap that's freaking amazing!

  • cummins owns my respect.

  • damn. im a ford guy but i do love dodges or anything domestic for that matter but i dont care who you are thats fricken impressive!!!! and "Thats not too bad"?! lol

  • Man, if i could afford it i'd get a cummins dodge myself

  • It's all about the Cummins 5.9L HO 325HP/600LB

  • amen
