I've gone on these survival camps - after a few days of short rations you get delerious, spacey. You start eating the "backup" foods - rock lichen for instance. Tastes terrible, but it will sustain you. I'm surprised he doesn't mention it.

if you look closely A lot of the gear he has is only camra gear... and the reats is badly packed sleeping gear... so stop dogging on this guy. If you where trying to survive the you wouldn't hall all that camra gear with you but guess what he dose so shot up all ready.

I've done a two day hike before (boy scouts), aside from the rain (it rained constantly and I got soaked) it wasn't that bad. Still, you need to be pretty tough to have made it through, especially something like this; I don't think I could do what he's doing without a guide.
