  • この曲はディランにしか作れない。最高の名曲だ。

  • does someone have the bootleg version of this? if so please upload! ta

  • This song has some amazing lyrics (evry one of them words rang true, and glowed like burning coals...), but I'm not sure if I really understand how the singer changes from one character to the other, there's a total jump in perspective. And the end "We always did feel the same, we just saw it from a diffrent point of view..."

  • This is an absolute masterpiece. So inspiring.

  • perhaps the greatest record ever made.

  • This, the "original" version (studio version), is one Dylan's finest moments. And, as it's often been said, he has had many. Along with Smokey Robinson and a (very) few others, THE great poets of modern America. Enough cannot be said for this man and his music.

  • In my mind Bob Dylan is the greatest poet.

  • poetry at its best !! beautiful

  • Tangled up in blue, Like a rolling stone, Idiot wind. Dylan's best, all together define my life. I'll see her again when I hit the road.

  • I would love to sing this song, but you just can't. It's too personal. Only Bob can sing this, no one else would dare.

  • Just great!!!!

  • 0 dislikes... the way it should be

  • Music dosent get any better than this !

  • classic!

  • This song reminds me of my husband's & I relationship. When we first met I was married, soon to get a divorce. All was great and then we became Tangled up & Blue. Off he wandered to his next destination, but we still talk now & then. I think we are still Tangled Up & Blue 27 yrs later. The follow-up song is "Cat in the Cradle" after he wasn't always around, now his 3 adult children have no time for him...life is full of songs...

  • @klejackson: "Old Man Again"; Dylan gave us words and rythems that we live by. I have never NOT been "Tangled Up In Blues" with 5 kids 18 to 42, and an incredible discust for the woman who I shared these children with. And my kids are still Tangled... But they all have MY love, and cling to their Daddy... What music offers us is the safe reflective place to think, to remember, and to revel in our lives.. You are so right, "Life is Full of Songs"....

  • @NJBOYW Thanks for your reply, Bob Dylan has always been a fav, of mine since Elementary School. His music has brought so much joy & sadness to my life, but like you said...it looks like we are both Tangled Up & Blue. My kids are 21 -28, two still at home, I love them dearly, but I can see them as being Tangle Up & Blue, due to father not being there for them. We are still friends, but I hate seeing his children being hurt, by his absence in their lives. I guess somethings never change.

  • @NJBOYW What music offers us is the safe reflective place to think, to remember, "Life is Full of Songs"...

Talk about hiting the nail on the head. I was haveing a bad day, till I red this! thanks.

  • Written by an Italian poet

    From the thirteenth century

And every one of them words rang true

    And glowed like burnin' coal

    Pourin' off of every page

Like it was written in my soul from me to you

my fave part of that song if i could write like that i would write it for you

  • It doesn't get any better than this.

    Cheers Bob !!

  • Love this song so much!! Brilliant - just brilliant!!

  • Best Dylan song

  • Zero dislikes lets keep it that way!

  • Thanks Bob!

  • whoever is posting dylan thank you.

  • * * * * *

  • Blood On The Tracks (1975) is one of Bob Dylan's most absolute masterpieces!

  • I think this was his best song . . .

  • Is the song about murder?

  • @SmashBrosFan19 Why do you think that?

  • @spigelian52 "Soon to be divorced. I helped her out of a jam I guess, but I used a little too much force. We drove that car as far as we could, abandoned it out west. Split up on a dark, sad night both agreeing it was best."

  • @SmashBrosFan19 Ah,ok....I think it was about his own pending divorce, but only Bob knows for sure ;-)

  • @spigelian52 agreed only bob knows what he means in his ramblings, he would probably say it dosnt matter like evreything else. the man has the best attitude on life ever

  • Oh Lord, thank you for the memories!

  • Great song.

  • not the original album version..but this is still a good one...

  • VERY Many Thanks for this Fabulous version of Dylan's Legendary Tangled up in Blue, now I'm Looking for Idiot Wind, from maybe the same album? All I can find so far is live stuff, ok but not like the album version. Thanks Again! from the old Vet who request this.

  • @SamIamGolden I tried...it's blocked worldwide for now.

  • Truly one of the greatest songs ever written, end of...

  • @lmaololz1 what he said

  • Thank you so much for putting this up! You are my hero :)

  • This isnt the origional version of TUIB. I was recorded in open

tuning with a slower tempo, if you havent came across it yet.

You are in for a treat when you hear it

  • @blujufirst Are you talking about the one off of the bootleg series? I will change the description of the video but I just meant the first studio version by Dylan on youtube. Thanks!

  • And anyway, this is the DEFINITIVE version, a masterpiece, thank YOU RetroTop! :)

  • @blujufirst what do you mean...this is the one off the album isn't it? that was the first time it came out as far as i've been able to see

  • @blujufirst unless you mean the later recorded version from the "sessions" stuff..

  • @blujufirst absolutely true....the slower tempo really does add to the magic of this tune... and the open tuning aspect of it is subtle but still important...good catch man!

  • @blujufirst got it on bootleg! some different lines....
