  • BROWN BOMBER BEWARE

  • WTF? Did Joe Louis fight a giant?Who is that enormous guy in this clip?

  • @ff1717 Abe Simon 260lbs NATURAL

  • Joe Louis still looks likes modern day boxer 70 years on. His precision and power is second to none. In my mind the greatest heavyweight of all time. The Bomber didn't need to talk the talk like Ali did and self proclaim he was the greatest. Everyone who has seen his fights knows.

    Those that say don't know.

    Those that know don't say.

  • Wats with all the ali hate lol. Research what all the boxing experts say, 50 percent say ali is the greatest 50 say its louis. Louis was technical perfection and the most complete fighter to ever step into the ring. What ali achieved and what he gave to boxing is phenominal. Appreciate both boxers they both have legitimate claims to being the greatest personally I have them drawing in first.

  • 1. louis

    2. ali

    3, johnson

    4, marciano

    5 foreman

    6. dempsey

    7. holyfield

    8. holmes

    9 whaldimer

    10 frazier

  • The use of Big Pun makes me extremely happy.

  • @BlackZepellin my thoughts exactly!

  • 1. Louis 2. Foreman (for his inspirational comeback) 3. Ali 4. Liston 5. Tyson 6.Marciano 7.Dempsey 8. Frazier 9. Holyfield 10. Lewis Purely my opinion, we will never know for certain, I guess we probably all put our favourite at the top (Foreman is my favourite).

  • @MrAlcoholic94 How can you put Foreman ahead of Ali in terms of "inspirational comeback"? As i recall, Ali was stripped of his title, couldn't fight for years, was past his prime, and was in the early stages of Parkinson's Disease and he still came back and reclaimed his title against a primed Foreman. I respect your opinion, but I'm just saying....

  • i don't understand peeps who put ali infront of louis. Ali was abit overrated, love him. 1. Louis .2 Ali or sugar ray robinson.

  • @ayresy89 Couldn't agree more with you. As a boxing fan I will just have to be honest and say I hate the Ali ass lickers.

  • Joe Louis >>>>>> Ali

if i remember correctly Ali is more talk than bite but his bite is deadly dont get

me wrong but Joe Louis is the greatest of all time hes just a forgotten fighter

    by most

  • My list 1. Ali 2. Louis 3. Johnson 4. Holmes 5. Holyfield 6. Dempsey 7. Tyson 8. Marciano 9. Foreman 10. Lewis Power isn't everything, please note the bottom 5, in my opinion hit harder then the top 5 but didn't have as nearly as much skill, timing and hand speed.
  • Joe Louis was the greatest hvwt champion ever. Pretty much unbeatable for 12 years straight, supported his country during the war and was a modest man which is why most of the country - even in the 1930's supported him. Unlike Ali who was a self grandious anti american big mouth and who's boxing record does not equal 20% of Joe Louis. Joe is the "greatest" - not that "other guy" who always said he was....

  • joe louis was like ali but stronger...not as flashy but just as good imo

  • In my humble opinion, the best finisher in boxing history. I've never seen a clip where Joe Louis had someone on the hook and let them off. Check out the Jack Sharkey clips at the end of this vid...zero wasted motion.

  • 1.- Muhammad Ali

    2.- Mike Tysón

    3.- Jack Johnson

    4.- Joe Louis

    5.- George Foreman

    6.- Rocky Marciano

    7.- Jack Dempsey

    8.- Sam Langford

    9.- Gene Tunney

    10.- Ezzard Charles

  • @rolandoen mike tyson should not be ranked that highly JMO

  • @rolandoen f'd list as I don;t know how u rank Tyson and Jack Johnson above Joe Louis. Ali is not better either. Where is Evander Holyfield? who whipped Tyson twice? Larry Holmes is top 10 as well.

  • @rolandoen you're list makes no sense..how can Mike Tyson be second? How can Louis be 4th? How can Ali be number one? are you fucking stupid? Ali had a 67% ko ratio you fucking nubb..you obviously dont know shit about boxing so take your "humble opinion" and and shove it..

  • AMIN THE BAIT GCC CHAMPION HAS A GREAT IMPROVED LOUIS STANDs

  • 1.Sugar Ray Robinson

    2.Joe Louis

    3.Muhammad Ali

  • 0:50 I love the 360 he does, i think it's Buddy Baer. Never seen anything like it. The Brown Bomber, arguably the greatest Heavyweight the world has ever seen.

  • best vid on youtube

  • Whose the fat bloke at the start anybody know?

  • @LASHERKID Tony Galento - Two ton Tony

  • Comment removed

  • louis was years ahead of his oppents.

  • Joe Louis I Believe is the best boxer of all-time in his prime

  • It's just a shame that I have to "mute" my computer to watch the great Brown Bomber, as some idiot put a bunch of slobbering rap in the background. This NOISE had nothing to do with the era or the Man...

  • and I thought Tommy Hearns had a right hand.

  • Joe is very calm, that really impresses me. Never loses it, doesn't run into things.

  • Everything about lewis was perfect, his speed, his timing, his power and accuracy

are all wonderful to watch. It must have been terrifying to face him in the ring.

  • @antonceta1 haha yea with that poker face staring at you just burning a hole through your soul. joe louis number 1

  • My parents say Joe Louis was greatest, i say Ali :/

  • @DaTrixta999 Me personally as much as I love Louis and not the biggest Ali fan I could never rank Louis higher than Ali, their résumé r not even close. Not saying Louis wasn't as talented but comparing different eras I cud only go by who they fought and beat and Ali wins that hands down.

  • best heavyweight ever. one punch KO power with every punch in either hand, very fast, incredibly accurate, wicked combinations, excellent economy of movement, and solid defense and toughness.

  • I love Joe Louis.

  • His right hand is serious.

  • Pk550@ yes yes yes my man, i agree wholeheartedly...(and tyson is my fav fighter ever)...joe louis hit like a train, and unfortunatly died a sad broken man at the end. Did u see the documentary about him makin all those sacrifices for the government then bein hounded to death for taxes?

  • better puncher than tyson, foreman, liston, shavers etc

  • joe louis gives you a warning beware

  • You know, Back in those days a lot of fights were fixed and thrown. But when Louis KO'd people? That's the first time ko'd looked real. Guys were seriously put unconcious.

  • 2:21 O_O

  • Who was louis fighting in the last clip? Louis looked really young

  • I never get tired of watching this

  • he keeps his gloves up and gets in close and knocks his opponent out with powerful jabs and uppercuts. they dont stand a chance bc they cant punch that hard at such close range and they cant block that well that close either. joe is a frickin genius in the ring

  • what song is this and

bloody aamzing boxer apparently when he was an old man about 60 odd he was reffing a wrestling match with mad mountain dean a massive fat man when he was doing an illegal ove and joe tapped him on the shoulder so he elbowed him then after about 20 seconds of recovering he tapped him again this time knowing what he was doing and smacked him clean out the ring.

  • @BenD97x lol cool story, the song is Big Pun, Beware

  • ali is no match for Joe

  • Great accuracy, Louis was probably the most accurate puncher in history, when did he ever miss a shot.

  • the last punch was insaaane!!!

  • knockdown at 0:52 is so rad

  • amazing skills masked by poor video quality of the day. i would give my left nut to see him fight.

  • 1926, shaken by a Gang of white men in the Ku Klux Klan, Louis's family moved to Detroit, Michigan, forming part of the post-World War I Great Migration. His mother attempted to get Joe interested in playing the violin. The Depression hit the Louis family hard.He tried to hide his pugilistic ambitions from his mother by carrying his boxing gloves inside his violin case.Louis's amateur debut, in early 1932, as a light-heavyweight at age 17After this debut (a loss to future Olympian Johnny Miller).

  • what song is?

  • @heart9012 This track is called Beware, the second track off Big Pun's Capital Punishment album.

  • it was his right hand,NEVER get hit by this mans right hand!!!!!

  • @onlyjoetee Lol, The right hand. It was both the Right and the Left. Just like my favorite fighter Sugar Ray Robinson this man was definetly a 2 handed puncher. He'll knock you dead with either hand.

  • @JcLeopard yes sir, you bet! the true sugar ray was one bad dude

  • he started walking then he fell lol

  • Louis hit hard no doubt but take into account this guy's technical ability which allowed him to land his feared right-cross. Feint, jabbing to the body, counter punching, pin point accuracy and expert timing. The greatest puncher in HW history.

  • joe had dynamyte in both hands and a 6 inch punch in both hands also, and so did my dad ...lol

  • @coldsoulschmidtbull whats a 6 inch punch

  • @MultiGreat1 a 6 inch punch is when the fist is only 6 inches away to begin with kinda like bruce lee's one inch punch. rocky marciano was another fighter that had a mean 6 incher

  • @coldsoulschmidtbull no, that's not a 6 inch punch. It's a 3" punch!

  • @lemonite1 Lol ya that too!! my old man taught me all that shit When my Dad was 16 years old he was allready boxing but he knocked a guys eyeball out in one right hook at the county fair, now thats power, hit on the left side of the face and there goes the right eyeball lol

  • @coldsoulschmidtbull The guy literally,"didn't see it comin'......

  • @lemonite1 ya man I love boxin like my pop did, it aint like it used to be, especially the heavyweight division, well the pros anyway

  • The real American hero and son..Heavy weight champion. When the country needed his service in world war 2, he courageously served his country did himself proud. A patriotic American.. thank god he is not a DRAFT DODGER like the GOAT.....

  • ILY Joe Louis

  • Does anyone else think that there should be a movie based on Joe Louis? They made one for Ali and Ward so I think a Joe Louis movie would be awesome. He made a huge impact on the sport and is also considered one of the greatest ever.

  • @UndeadFool and Jimmy braddock

  • @UndeadFool They did, it came out in the 50's. They should make more.

  • Greatest heavyweight of all time.

  • Take note of where Joe Louis lands his punches, as he always shot for the jaw and its clear on this video, the jarring shot to the jaw shakes the head and neck with full impact, and he was a natural puncher.

  • Two Ton Tony lol, guy was one tough sum bitch, if he'd have trained as well the man would have been lethal!

As for Joe, that cat was an assassin, one of the all-time greatest.

  • I dont mean to hate but I only see him fighting against pudgey white guys or scrawny white guys

  • @Ventorez Some of t he fighters Louis fought even in this vid are HUGE one guy is like 6'6 250. Maybe you should read about Joe Louis before making such comments The Ring magazine has him as the greatest puncher of all time and ESPN and all other sources have Louis as one of the greatest heavyweights ever.

  • Wow this guy is amazing. I'm doing my history report on him.

  • right from the get go, the speed of that counterpunch right hand that joe lands, just awsome

  • 0:48 360

  • I love how you did the jump off with 2 Ton Tony Galento. He was the first to ever put Joe Louis on the canvas. He paid dearly for it with a combo that included that solid uppercut that looked like train wreck to the face.

Tony bragged that he hadn't drank beer in the 2 days prior to the fight in order prepare. LOL! 2 Ton Tony! Gotta love that guy!

  • Joe Louis is The Greatest Heavyweight Of All Time... Peroid!!!! the only boxer to defend his title more times than any other and that record still stands at 25 times, now that is Great!!

  • Comment removed

  • not a lot of head movement in that era among his opponents, other than chin up in the air, although he makes it look easy catching them which is the sign of a great

  • To me, Joe is the GOAT.

  • Joe Louis and Max Schmeling, true legends, gentlemen boxers whom dignified the sport, and remained friends till Louis' death.

These two are the reason I love Boxing, respectful, true warriors whom did their talking in the ring. A reminder that men of any race religion or colour are equals, reminding us that anyone brave enough into step in the ring knows that.

  • great video until the sound came on. Thank God Joe can't hear this crap

  • @Icyhotboo you old fart

  • @lionheartodd "what just cause I hate that rap crap" keep it in the hood

  • @lionheartodd "what just cause I hate that rap crap" ruined what could have been a nice video

  • @Icyhotboo whatever old man you have a merry christmas and a happy new year

  • HARDEST PUNCHER OF ALL TIME

  • there's a marihuana cigar that's called the brown bomer because you get so stoned you shit your pants.

  • I love this highlight... great song choice.

  • Jack Blackburn must have been one hell of a trainer. Joe Louis was a fine tuned machine. Fighters from that era sure did learn their crafts.

  • His accuracy, and timing is off of the charts!!!!!!!!!! It sucks that Joe Louis is not really all so popular this day in age. He was a pioneer in the sport of boxing!

  • I find it very fitting that a highlight of one of the greatest boxers of all time managed to have itself coupled with one of the greatest rap sons of all time by one of the greatest rappers of all time. Rest in peace Immortals.

  • He doesn't look too big - many of his opponents seem bigger. But he has that coldness and look in his eyes that the young George Foreman also had. The big difference, however, is that Lous' punches were so fast and accurate.

  • Is it weird that some days I enjoy watching Joe Louis more than porn? :D

  • @huthut91 as long as you'er not jerking off to it you fucking nob

  • @huthut91 ha ha u killed me man!!

  • lol ezzard charles was dancing thinking life was sweet...that is before the brutal KO

  • @Rooseveltdunn - Thats Joe Walcott. Ezzard Charles beat Joe by dec. when he returned from his first retirement.

  • @Rooseveltdunn I think that was jersey joe walcott that got knocked out

  • @lionheartodd Yeah Jersey Joe Walcott they got that whole fight on here just watched it. Joe Louis my favorite fighter of all time pin point accuracy greatest puncher in boxing history

  • nice mixing

  • Joe....was a boxer's worst nightmare !

  • ta muza w 100% pasuje do filmiku

  • i loved how joe louis knocked out so many swines lol

  • @boxingartist what do you mean by the word "swines"?

  • he was a beast... he deserves the nice looking gravestone he has at arlington haha

  • Comment removed

  • @Uxoriouswidow / are you blind? 00:00 -> 00:03 on down-right corn is name

  • are people actually watching the same videos of old timers that i am ? cos these so called greatest evers seem to be awfully slow with no defence and there opponents are awful looking ! honestly like mayweather pacquaio and vitali klitschko/lennox lewis are better than any of these 'legends'. seems no one checks how good you are until u are dead

  • @eamon0008 Joe Louis' defence was second to none, and his hand speed was up there with the quickest of history's heavyweights (amongst his other attributes). If he looks 'slow', it's because of his economy of movement. He didn't move for the sake of bouncing around, as Ali & Holyfield did. Every movement was near-perfect

  • @HarryTheTalkingDude That's a superb analysis. You're absolutely right. He did't waste movements for no reason or purpose.

  • @HarryTheTalkingDude I agree, and he is looks SO relaxed. That adds to the punching power. He is methodical and looks carefree like he is walking in the park. Carefully planning each and every move with a natural since of flow. He is simply amazing.

  • This guy's timing is surreal

  • yeah fuck all these gangsta black boxers

  • 0:53 craziest knockout reaction ever

  • who is the last gay joe ko out in this vid?????

    whats his name?

  • i respect boxers that have felt his puches, and still s=continue for rounds...

  • people like ali tyson lennox forman and all they could beat him so easy

  • @atmarmasood1983 - Ali beats Joe Louis, but Louis KO's Tyson & Lennox and maybe Foreman too.

  • 1:56 he didn´t really look like a guy with so much power, but when he hit it was a dry clean and effective shot sending most to the canvas! Not like a Foreman punch which was maybe harder, but came so slow that he could barely catch a snail with it!

  • @UnleashedPassion It was onother time, boxing has evavolvued. But if joe would have been born later he would bigger, and would be better trained. And that Joe would a champ in every age.

  • who was that last person boxing whith the brown bomber (original ali)

he thought he was good cause he dipped one

  • how heavy was joe louis?

  • @DeanDahBean 198lbs

  • @browny333 cheers m8

  • wot big pun song is it

  • big pun - beware

from the 1998 album capital punishment

  • 0:53 hhhhh

    360 spin

  • Louis better than Iron Tyson? At that time Louis was outstanding but had no movement, speed, tactic & power like Mike had till `88!

  • he looks like he uses no energy while boxing. greatest puncher ever he just relaxes and choses his shots well.

  • Beware by Big Pun

    great video

  • whats the name of the song ???

  • greatest athlete to ever live! RIP uncle joe <3

  • @itsturbotimeyall bull shit.

  • swear on my mother. hes actually my second cousin but we always called him uncle joe. i never met him though cuz im too young.

  • pugilistic perfection

  • Alot of people forget just how simply dominant Joe Louis was in the prime of his life when it came to boxing. He was raped so badly during his Championship days that they called his opponents "Bums of the Club" or something like that. He had a devastating 1 and 2 punch, and did everything as a boxer should do with perfection.

I LOVE Ali, however the difference is that most people who witness Joe's prime are either dead, too old, or else you have young pups who don't know anything about Joe.

  • @TrueSephiros Young pups don't know anything about Joe or the great boxers before his time. Jim Jeffries is only know for his 1910 match after being retired for 6 years and then there is Jack Johnson, Sam Langford, Fitz etc. All great boxers.

  • Yeah he did ankin69, then joe scored the 2nd or 3rd fastest ko in heavyweight title history in the rematch with schmeling, so i would say joe got the las laugh? Yes MrCatalano14, you are my hero. All these pussies who have never seen a boxing glove in their life talking about fighting. Its soooooo fucking annoying. The wind of one of Joe Louis's punches would ko that little faggot. Oh and by the way ankin69, I'm a pro fighter and have forgotten more about boxing than you will ever know, chump!

  • Who was the fat bald guy in the beginning?

  • Joe at this peak was the great western hope, the 2nd fight against Max saw him become the golden boy of America who EVERY1 pinned their hopes on, Ali although hugely influencial never turned racist America into his loving fans, Joe did.

  • Ali didn't need support from racist America when the entire world loved him

  • Sorry many people hated him. Even many Black Christian Americans who he ridiculed and accused of being "backwards"

  • STOP SUCKING ROCKY'S DICK PEOPLE!!! It took him 8 rounds to KO a super shop worn Joe Louis and ten rounds to ko 44 year old former light heavy archie moore, oh who by the way put Rocky on his ass. Study your history dick riders. Rocky NEVER I repeat NEVER beat a top fighter in his prime, PERIOD! Walcott 39, Moore 43-44, Louis 37, Charels late 30's and he is the greatest of all time?!?!?! I want an ounce of whatever you idiots are smoking.

  • i agree...Rocky Marciano was a fucking joke....put him in Ali's era and he won't get past Norton, Frazier, Ali, Liston, Foreman...hell even Shavers would spank his ass

  • "even"?? Shavers is a badass bro, not some pushover, Ali said that shavers was the greatest puncher he ever faced

  • yes i agree, i didn't mean to belittle Shavers, and you are right....Ali and Ken Norton both said Shavers hit harder than Foreman

  • I agree Ali would beat him.

    List:

    Ali

    Tyson

    Louis

  • no footwork....prime ali will dance circles around his ass....will look exactly like 1st liston fight

  • Damn, you're incredibly stupid. Joe Louis would pulverize that dancing fairy.

  • HAHHAHHAH...dancing fairy?? call him what you want, this dancing fairy fought and defeated Sonny Liston (twice), Floyd Patterson (Twice), Joe Frazier (Twice), Ken Norton (Twice), George Foreman, Archie Moore, Earnie Shavers, George Chuvalo and the list goes on.......Louis got his ass put to sleep by that joke Marciano

  • @anikin69 Louis lost when he was out of his prime. When louis was champ no one could touch him

  • as i recall Max Schmelling whooped his ass in his prime

  • max only won the fight due to jack jonson telling him about louis`s low guard! the rematch was a more accurate telling of ability, Max threw 2 punches against Joe`s 150+, he was heard squeling in pain(fact) and he was hospitalized 4 10 days.

  • @anikin69 Uhh question. if your not a fan why watch his videos? just to leave stupid comments? your a fucking pussy and have probably never touched boxing gloves so shut the fuck up

  • We saw what happened in the rematch when Louis actually trained. Max didn't see the end of the first round. Yet Ali struggled and got a gift decision to Doug Jones

  • What are you stupid?

Joe Louis only fought Marciano cuz the fuken money-hungry IRS was demanding money from him. He was 37 at that time idiot, he should of been retired and Marciano was a young fighter when he fought. Its no fuken wonder he lost, besides Joe did more for America then Ali ever would.

  • Joe Did more for America???? so why is Muhammad Ali so reverred now??? Ali was a worldwide phenomenon...a beacon of hope, he broke down many racial barriers....the only reason black athletes and athletes in general get paid so much is because of Muhammad ALi....so you can go fuck youself

  • Man Joe Louis gave America the first victory in World War II. Long before our planes were dropping bombs on Hitler Joe Louis was dropping bombs on his propaganda machine. Joe Louis is forgotten by many cause he wasn't a loudmouth like Ali. He let his fists do the talking. You need to brush up on your history.

When people talk about the most important historical fight in regards on social impact Louis vs Schmelling 2 is on top on most peoples list followed by Johnson vs Jefferies

  • "..gave America the 1st victory"?? America at that time didn't even consider Mr Louis' people 'Americans'.What are you talking about?

  • Our treatement towards minorites, especially in the South was embarrassing and cruel but many Americans both black and white revered Joe Louis.

Sure there were some that hated him because he was black but he was considered the biggest hope against the Nazi propanganda machine. He came through.

  • I beg to differ. The only reason whites may have tacitly supported and I wouldn't go as far as say "revered" Joe Louis was due to the fact he was America's propaganda tool against Max Schmelling. Had Schmelling been an American and Joe Louis kicked his ass do you think there would be that support from white America? And I would never say Max Schmelling was a Nazi considering his history and his character as a human being. Actually Max was more of a human being than most white Americans atthe tim

  • that is one of the most remarkable things about his career, that he was respected even by white audiences at a time when his people were not. he was the first black athlete to really garner that kind of respect, cuz people didnt like jack johnson that much.

  • Of course people didn't like the great Jack Johnson because he was outsoken and he was busy banging all them white ladies and he was very open about it, even appearing with white women. Why so you think did they told Joe Louis to never appear with white women in photos or in public and to keep quite?

  • Louis was more of a pioneer to future heavyweight champions than Johnson. Johnson went against the system yet Louis changed the system. A black heavyweight champion was acceptable because of Louis. Hell Ali might not have been what he was if it wasn't because of Louis.

Responding to the other comment America was basically divided on racial issues. Besides what America was doing to blacks was relatively minor compared to what Nazi Germany would be doing to Jews there shortly after.

  • The American public was ''divided on the racial issue"? I agree. The blacks were opposed to racism and the whites were for it. How divided is that? And you make the mistake of moral equivalence in your argument that Jews had it worse. Hate is hate no matter how you slice it. The difference was the Jew heard a German accent and the Black person heard an American accent when both were being ''lynched'' for being who they are or were.

  • Your stereotyping of all whites in America is a form of racism in itself. Plenty of Whites marched in the civil rights movements and supported prominent blacks but you seem fixated on hating white America.

The fact that you think segeration is as bad as the holocaust is almost as disturbing. Making someone go to a seperate drinking fountain isn't the same as mass murder. Both are wrong but if you had the choice which situation to be in I put money on it that you wouldn't be the jew.

  • Well when white America stops stereotyping all minorities then I'll stop. Until then what's good for the goose is good for the gander. I think your minimizing the hatred and violence black people experienced pre-civil rights era which is in itself racist. How many millions of blacks died at the hands of white america since they were brought over on slave ships?. That to me is a holocaust in itself but then again white america would deny that troubling fact of history. Very similar to the germans.

  • Umm this isn't the 50's most people are getting over it. Only bitter individuals are hanging onto these issues. I bet you weren't even alive during segeration. Until then? I rarely hear whites bitch about racial issues. Maybe because whites just don't care unless someone else brings it up and expects them to apologize for actions their ancestors made.

Oh yeah it was black relatives that traded the slaves for guns to kill more Africans. I guess the gander was living it up

  • I agree some white people have made great strides over the years since th
