its an anual massive music concert that takes place in Kildare, Ireland, it usually takes place in july or august and has over 12 stages with bands such as the killers,razorlight,kings of leon, the verve, lady gaga and many more
oh my god you have to go...ive benn the last 2 years its amazing. its on around 9-12th July every year.i live in dublin so its only a bus journey away! and that bus journey is a pub on wheels...people playing guitar...everyone drinking and smoking and singing...too bad the journey only lasts an hour...
that's awesome one more reason to go! but i have to wait some years cuz i live in mexico and i'm only fifteen so maybe in 6 years and in vacations better
ah ya won't have to wait 6 years! you only have to be 17 to be allowed in...and you can legally drink here in Ireland when your 18! yes its about 240euro's for a 4 day camping ticket. you go to concerts whenever you want or drink in your tent in the campsite whenever you want :D im sure theres amazing concerts in America though...a lot closer than Ireland!

Thats a FACT, as i said i like the KOL but lack of interaction, no encore, ommission of classics(Milk) kinda sums it up. Pity the fans didnt listen to their other albums

I am a big Kol fan and I must say that this gig was really disappointing- they didnt even play milk!!! if it was your first time seeing them and you were disappointed believe me they are better then this live, i have seen them 4 times and they are great, they were just having a bad day and it reflected in their performance. as for comparing them to the chillis to be honest they are not as good or as big as the chillis yet, some day they may get there.

There's a simple explanation for the charts thing you were talking about: The chillis haven't realeased any album lately, otherwise they would have given KOL a run for their money. Period.

Ive been listening to them for a few years and i think closer is one of the best songs they have penned. cold desert was amazing as well. It's good they are known, maybe some of their older music will now be appreciated because albums like YAYM are underrated by the public.

And after watching videos of them they weren't as bad as I initially thought and the sound wasn't the best. But I'm still pissed they didn't play Revelry or do an encore. I still love this band like crazy but they weren't my favourite band of the weekend. Just giving my opinion. Free speech and all that. :)

This video is great, cool how you can see the crowd. Being in the pit was amazing for kol; I think just about everyone knew every single word. These were my favourite out of the 3 days, maybe it's just cause i'm a massive fan but whatever, i thought they were incredible.

I am a big Kol fan and I must say that this gig was really disappointing- they didnt even play milk!!! if it was your first time seeing them and you were disappointed believe me they are better then this live, i have seen them 4 times and they are great, they were just having a bad day and it reflected in their performance. as for comparing them to the chillis to be honest they are not as good or as big as the chillis yet, some day they may get there.

There's a simple explanation for the charts thing you were talking about: The chillis haven't realeased any album lately, otherwise they would have given KOL a run for their money. Period.
And no, I don't thing KOL is shit myself. In fact I think they're quite enjoyable, but to say they are great? Man, this song is a huge rip-off of U2 (Use somebody as well for instance) which is in my opinion the road they want to follow now, a more commercial mindset, but I ain't taking their reasons away.

i totally love how you are blaming the band for this. yes, molly chambers is a great song, but if you were honestly expecting them to go on creating the same music forever...no offence: bad idea.
Ive been listening to them for a few years and i think closer is one of the best songs they have penned. cold desert was amazing as well. It's good they are known, maybe some of their older music will now be appreciated because albums like YAYM are underrated by the public.
Arizona is my fave song :)

yeah alot of bads DO continue on their same style. I just dont think people should EXPECT it though, especially not in today's age where music is so influenced by labels such as Sony BMG where all they want is to mass sellout some artist.
I think if a band changes their style a bit and its still good then great. I think if they change it to be in the "top 40" then fuck off, you're no longer a musician - go join the jonas brothers. My opinion though:

I actually thought they were a bit of a let down personally and don't freak out at me, I've loved them from Youth and Young manhood. I can't stand the I only know Sex On Fire fans. And after watching videos of them they weren't as bad as I initially thought and the sound wasn't the best. But I'm still pissed they didn't play Revelry or do an encore. I still love this band like crazy but they weren't my favourite band of the weekend. Just giving my opinion. Free speech and all that. :)

This video is great, cool how you can see the crowd. Being in the pit was amazing for kol; I think just about everyone knew every single word. These were my favourite out of the 3 days, maybe it's just cause i'm a massive fan but whatever, i thought they were incredible.

Same here man, i said on another video about having the exact same problem!Everyone around me was a dry bastard and didn't know the songs.I think judging by the new song they played that people will get a shock with their new stuff because they're heading in another direction with their music.I had two little bitches behid me giving out because I was jumping around,told them to fuck off.They were obviously only there to hear a couple songs off the new album.

i was in the pit all day to see them. some of the bands in between were good also; saw doctors, elbow, bloc party inparticular but the kings were something else with the crowd singing back to them.
great night, but the killers stole the show the next night!!!
