Nice tutorial but on most missions you can't affort shooting 3 torpedoes at each ship you want to sink. The best way to do it is shoot a single torpedo first and see if it's enough to sink the boat. Even if it's not enough, the ship will be heavily damaged and unable to move fast or even move at all which means it will be easier for you to take carful aim and sink it once and for all.
Do not buy sh5 ! The game is full of bugs even after 2 Patches . Ubisoft is unable to deliver an error free game . Dont suport them with your money ! The Game looks nice ,but you only buy trouble !
i kinda like the idea. In S4 unless playing with duds it kinda was like shooting fish in a barrel after a while praying 90 degres like that. i dont like to much digital crap on the screen tho takes away the feel. great video! I hop i get my copy today
i just bloody hope sh5 doesnt have the same savegame corruption and such in the campain mode. GAAAA! *rips out hair* this is the reason i uninstalled sh4, just a total let down.

@EL20078 Ive found setting the depth to just above the bottom of the keel, can split alot of them in half if u get the torp dead centre.
I use TDC to get ship type so the hull is drawn on torpedo selector, then turn it back to auto.

@EL20078 there's a mod available to fix that and it will even toggle flooding and damages caused by fire on enemy ships
