Let me just say I have started watching this movie no less than 12 times only to leave it to go watch paint dry, which made me wonder why paint drying does not have a trailer. then I watched the trailer to this movie and fell asleep. This made me realize paint drying is a better film.

Fargo is a freaking brilliant film, and I would have loved to see it win Best Picture.

The English Patient, however, is a beautiful, deeply moving romance, and a strikingly poetic experience. It's a very, very nice alternative. :]
