There is no 3rd generation yet. What i think you mean is the 3.1 firmware. And the 8gb is enough memory. It depends, if you want video get the 64 GB, but the 8gb is at a great price!
Thats a rumor, dont get scammed. They are made in California and are non existant. You may be talking about the Iphone 3gs or the 3.1.1 firmware. But steve jobs has NOT reslased a whole new ipod on september 9th

HOLY CRAP UR RIGHT. The 3g did come out!!! It has a faster prosesser and openGL. Plus the batter last longer! cool. imma buy 1.

yea the reason i didnt think it came out is cuz they said theyd put a camera and mic bulit in. But its just a few tweaks.
