  • This would be a great Cowboys from Hell music video. \M/

  • Bronies' got nothing on 30/30.

  • BRAVESTAR FOREVER!!!!!!

  • 40-40 is the reason why I watch this show

  • Look at that horse, that horse was amazing.

Dont give it a lick, or it shoots your fucking head off.

  • how did it go...Strenth of the bear,Speed of the Puma,Sight of the Hawk...cant remeber the wolf.

  • @KeithWasHere1 No,its "Strength of the Bear,Speed of the Puma,Eyes of the Hawk, and Ears of the Wolf".

  • I'm still waiting for the big budget live action movie, hurry up Hollywood!!

  • Comment removed

  • I can't get enough of this intro.

  • Marshall Bravestarr was a great Native American main character.

  • THIS, this they should remake. I would definitely pay money so see that---EVEN if it was directed by Michael Bay.

  • WOW AHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHHHAHAAHAHAHAHAHHAA!!!!!!

  • This program was so ahead of its time! I can't help but sing along. I was a very big fan of the TMNT, but this puts them to shame. 30-30 is just killer. The setting are so versatile; the space graphics are so under used, they could have spent several minutes of every show exploring and exhibiting the awesome abilities of the shows artists.

What a Classic it turned out to be.

  • 1:01 one of the best fly-kicks of all time.

  • I could not stop laughing when I tried to describe this show to my mom.

  • made a group to for anyone who thinks the rock should play marshall bravestarr in bravestarr movie. its call The rock IS bravestarr

  • Ears of a horse...eyes of a monkey .. !!! could never remember the words to the song ahaha

  • The only kids show I've ever seen where a kid actually dies.

  • damnit how come i never found out about this show until after i grew up. looks freakin awesome.

  • bring back Bravestarr.

  • Who was the main villain - Stampede or Tex Hex? Did Tex Hex work for Stampede? If memory serves me correct, Stampede was a smokelike phantom! Also, my favorite character was Scuzz - that cigar chomping dwarf. Guy could barely put two words together without coughing!

  • @mishim100 Scuzz was suposed to be a space Mexician alien. This toon wasn't too PC. The aliens were really space Mexician aliens.

  • @mishim100

Stampede was a demonlike entity. Even though he was huge, he never used physical force, only magic.

TexHex on the other hand was a Karium-smuggler, who almost died because of his own greediness. Stampede brought him back, gave him special powers, and turned him into his servant.

  • @mishim100

But we rarely seen stampede, for he was a match for the Shaman, while TexHex was the main antagonist for Bravestarr.

  • @standardbearer Stampede...stampede..hmmm was'nt stampede that bull-like spirit???

  • @ItalianBlackheart123

    indeed, he was.

  • Eyes of the Hawk, Ears of the Wolf, Strength of the Bear, and Speed of the Puma.

  • remember when cartoon where cool now their really crap

  • @IamStevenD Remember English?

  • So brave star is a cimbination of lucky luke and he-man? 0_o?

  • the part where tex hex lassos fuzz is the funniest shit of the intro lmfao!!!!!!!

  • The Dutch version is better, Hup Holland Hup

  • EPIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • bravestar looks like steven seagal.

  • bravestarr se parece a lupe de bronco...apoco no?? ;D

  • I want a Bravestarr outfit in Red Dead Redemption, good idea for the next DLC ;)

  • why did they use to have an extra R on then end of star?

  • Honestly, it takes me back. But i do my part and show my 3 year old son classics only. Spongebob was originally MEANT for adults as a stoner flick. So while my kids adopted a cool sense of humor, i still can't stand how hollow that shit is. RIGHT NOW MY KID IS ADDICTED TO GOOF TROOP. DENNIS THE MENACE ETC> even looney tunes and tom n jerry are more stimulating to the mind than the pretentious nonsense nick puts out. BUT FACE IT IT'S A YOUNG WORLD, WERE GETTING PHASED OUT.

  • The animation is actually pretty good...even by today's standards. Lots of in-betweens!

  • Man I remember when the made these lunch boxes for this cartoon.Very strong! This cartoon will always be a classic man.

  • Ohhh man!!!! This cartoon was my fav growing up!!!! 30/30 was epic!!!!:):)

  • *Sniff* That was from my childhood. Why not bring these toons back to watch on TV. What about "Biker Mice From Mars"? "bucky o'hare". Those were the days.

  • compare these cartoons with now the cow and the chicken, sponge bob, the poor of our children have to watch that crap.

we were fortunate for these beauties cartoons, what we have to do is show our children's cartoons that we watch

  • @zzzsoldierzzz so true, I was an 80's kid myself and some how feel like being part of an elite decade club, all 80's people understand this, I've said when I have a kid i'm going to let him play the old Nintendo while he's young because games were so much more innocent back then. I think it's funny, I mention this to my work colleague, Then I mentioned, Mask, ulysses 31, Transformers, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles or Teenage mutant Hero Turtles as the cartoon was called in the UK. brings me back.

  • @shaunberry1982 lol, you were born during the 80's, most of the part of that decade you were just a toddler, by the time you reached your early teens the 80's were long over...no, people who were born during the eraly to mid 70's can be considered kids from the 80's, becasue they reached an age where they could enjoy everything from that decade to the fullest.

In that regard I would count you as a child from the 90's, just being born in the the 80's doesn't cut it.

  • @mitrooper I don't think so mitrooper. Actually in 88 I was 6 and watching these cartoons. I would not call 6 a toddler. By then I was well into playing Nintendo and watching 80's movies, just because it was near the end of 80's doesn't mean it doesn't cut it, who the fuck are you the decade police. OK I wasn't a teenager but I was a small kid and I still remember it. your just an ass hole from the Netherlands. Stupid Dutch Bastard.

  • @mitrooper atleast my country contributed to the 80's fucking dutch did nothing but make cheese. Thye don't make anything, shit music, shit movies, shit culture, dutch never did anything. so fuck you dutch cunt.

  • @shaunberry1982 The dutch have really excellent weed :D

  • @mitrooper I would have to respectfully disagree. I was born in dec of 1979 and consider my self a child of the 80's. I watched cartoons like this as a kid.

  • @shaunberry1982 Don't forget thunder cats! One of the best cartoons of the 80's

  • @purplemutantas Yes I never forgot tundercats, wow that brings back memories, I use to have the thundacats sword with the red button in the middle and that claw tank thing, it's grey. Hey remember ulysse 31 , Mask, and many more. They were good cartoons not like what crap they got today. spongebob is ok. sorry about the rant below just don't like people telling me who I am without knowing me.

  • can someone go to hollywood and tell dwayne johnson to act in the movie

  • @stequiellesummers Just watched this now and though that The Rock LOL

  • Native American propaganda cartoon.....joke.

  • OHHHH WOWWW, took me way back i miss those days.

  • I used to have all the action figures i loved me some bravestar

  • I know cartoonnetwork is planing on reviving the thudercats, maybe some network can do the same for this show!

  • @doobiesmoke15

TeleToon Retro currently plays Thundercats and Transformers. Personally i think they should be replicating those 80s Saturday mornings to the best of their abilities. He-Man, She-Ra, Smurfs, Fraggle Rock, C.O.P.S., MASK, TMNT, BraveStarr, the list goes on and on.

  • WOAH i didnt know john redcorn was bravestarr!

  • holy fucking shit, what an epic nostalgic knockout.

  • oh wow

  • What the hell - this cartoon was genius! GENIUS!!! The theme tune was wicked, the cartoon was amazing, and the horsey side kick - he was BAD ASS! Made Mr T from the A-Team look like a chump!

  • I still got the lunch box :)

  • I used to watch this on WGN Channel 9 along with Galaxy Rangers and, I think, Jem.

  • Strength of The Bear, The Bear, The Bear!

  • I can't count the number of toys I had from this show... I even had the gun that fired an infared beam from one gun to another for laser tag-ish shootouts. I made the mistake of going on ebay to look up some of this stuff only to find out that my collection would have been worth about a thousand dollars now... A complete Sandstorm figure alone is going for $90... Damn you puberty!!!

  • And one day a war man came, with powers of hawk, wolf, puma and bear!

  • @lardimus its "a law man" not war man

  • @Mugthraka Hm, true that. Must've had Puma poo in my ears.

  • ....i'm sorry, but did the horse have to transform into a kick-ass version of Mr.Ed?

  • oh man! Nostalgia!

I remember running back from school with my friends screaming "speeeeedddddd of the puuuummmaaaa"

As if we would magically run faster.

    Good times i tell you

    "sob*

  • 30-30 was awesome... Horses have always freaked me out but 30-30 was just COOL

  • TOMASY!!!!

  • who the hell winks at their horse (and the horse winks back) slight homo-erotic undertones there...

  • @lickstickly

It was an 80s cartoon. There were few cartoons around that time that -didn't- have either homoerotic references or actions that could be misinterpreted as such. He-Man, Hercules... most of the "strong-man" based cartoons were rife with them.

  • @ianwestc i know i used to watch it (still know all the words to the theme tune) just didnt rememeber the creepy wink is all

  • @ianwestc So, He Man holding a large sword above his head was a penis reference then? Damn! My childhood was rife with homosexuality, I guess I'm lucky I'm straight and happily married, aren't I? Over-think things much?

  • @Featster74

I was too busy staring at Teela's over-accentuated breasts and objectified legs in stilletto whore's boots.

    But that's just me :)

  • wow, a native american as the hero of the show?

    awesome!

  • The Lone Ranger of the Future. :D

I remember watching one show after another on Saturday mornings on different German tv channels.

    5 stars!

  • lol Native American - It was SPANISH

  • haha... wow, that's some serious OLD School for you 80's kids out there... lol

  • @TimNP61278

' lmfao, a horse that can shoot, thats some real shit right there. I use to watch that shit when i was a kid man thats ole skool.

  • i am very much, part native american. i loved this show when i was a kid .and i found both volumes on dvd.i will get them.

  • his horse was hard core

  • @MrJenac

This is the only cartoon horse, even boys liked.

  • @standardbearer and how can't you like him? he's got a freakin gun!!

  • @kinagrill

A gun, which is about as big as himself, and shoots lightning, nontheless:D

    Awesome, awesome stuff.

BTW, check my Bravestarr art nagymarci dot deviantart dot c o m

  • If I were a Native American, I don't know if I would be offended or flattered by this.

    LOL!

  • I think I can answer that.

Bravestarr's Native American by birth. Check the movie.

Of course, there's the shamen too,

  • classic great cartoon

  • @20bdl00 Agreed. It combined sci-fi with a western, gave the hero plausible super-powers, and it even made sense most of the time. That's rare today. (At least to me)

  • This show, as far as I could recall was pretty good! Certainly beat Thundercats in my book. The concept was good to boot.

  • STRENGTH OF THE BEAR!!

  • BRAVESTARRRRRR! Yo Mothafucka BRRAAAAVE STARRRRR!! STRAINGHT OF THE BEAR SPEED OOOF THE PUMAAAA!!!

  • Bravestarr you are STILL my hero!!!

  • WOW!..brings back so many memories.....

  • absoluteky classic - the best cartoon ever , such a cool superhero

  • lol!! hell yea!!!!

  • Holy Shit, I love this! I remember watching this as a kid, aah memories!

  • A cowboy superhero in space. They knew their audience.

  • For a cartoon and a show, unfortunately this was made by Mattel to sell toys which it failed to move thus the show only lasted a season. This is also what killed the new Masters of the Universe cartoon Mattel failed to understand that shows just don't sell action figures anymore, Transformers are the exception because they are far more interactive than ordinary action figures.

  • i wanted the toy back then.....couldnt afford it =-(

  • Anyone with a bipedal cyborg horse that kicks ass and drinks beer is pure epic win. Lol @ 1:03 epic drop-kick with the speed of the puma.

  • The 80's and 90's were epic. I loved my childhood.

  • Best bit is 0:56...love those crazy guys winking to each other.

  • i love the cartoons of the 80's it really helps us to become creative n widen our imagination... unlike cartoon nwadays lack of action...

  • damn, you said the same thing myself and my fiancee have been thinking all along!!!!

  • alot of Brave Star can be watched on Hulu

just google it Hulu so can the orginal He-man

  • Bravestarr was a cool cartoon when I was little. This brings back memories, so 5/5 to you.

  • I swear to god, Tex Hex looks so much like Chakan the Forever Man.

Maybe this is Chakan during this period of time.

  • its weird listening to this and instantly remembering the words lol

  • wow i this show.totally forgot! all i can remember is that the horse was annoying

  • This was a good cartoon, but it was no match for VOLTRON. LOL,

  • It's time to bring this cartoon back.

  • I get this song in my head all the time...Awesome ^______________^

btw, their downfall is attributed to the scale of the action figures...they were too big to play with the other toys.

  • wow..Bravestarr brings back memories, man. Daaaannng. Thnx 4 uploading it. I just saw Mask, Go Bots, Voltron intro's too.

  • Go back watching Pokemon, you child! This is retr0! ;)

  • that's exactly what your sister said to me about you when i was fucking her brains out last night!

  • Ugh..gradeschool comebacks.

  • they work though

  • no they don't

  • nice one just took me about 3 hrs to find this. i used to think i had all the same powers when i was a kid. get in

  • fucking classic, I've been looking for this for years and years, I remember watching this as a kid along with TMHT and Knightmare

  • yea you can keep the molestation and neglect memories

  • Wow. I was born in 78 and I vaguely remember this show. It's Walker, Texas Ranger, in the future, animated.

  • Oh yes you're right, childhood memories!!!

  • speed of the puma Puma Puma....OMG childhood memories....

  • this is just amazing, amazing I tell you!

  • Memories..........

  • It seemed a lot cooler back then and not the least bid ridiculous!

  • Shame Filmation went out of business.I really liked their style of animation too.

  • Great show. I had Marshall Bravestarr, 30/30 and Tex Hex toys when I was a boy, many years back.

I was really upset to learn that the reason this only lasted one series was because Hasbro messed up on releasing the toys (they released them before the series came out on TV, and the toys did rather poorly as a result, so they decided there wasn't a market for them and pulled the plug on the TV show. Grrr...).

  • and i bet theese toys are worth a bit of money now as a result i miss this show still

  • I hate Erica Scheimer the dumb bitch who sings in all of filmation's cartoon. Can't stand her voice. On a positive note, this cartoon was pretty cool, man it really takes me back.

  • Friggin Bravestarr man. Awsome

  • they shud put all these classics on one awesome channel

  • I had the the toys to this! I really like them because they were bigger than the he-man toys! Bravestarr was great, but I could not shake off the feeling that he was not as big as He-man or the thundercats.

  • My brother had a Bravestarr lunchbox.

    Good swan song for Filmation.

  • Filmation has bucked the trend among US animation studios in outsourcing their work to Asian/European companies.

That could've contributed to their downfall

  • The cartoon of my childhood, it's very awesome!!!! Thank you for the memory!!! ^__^

  • My childhood cartoons,Bravestarr,Turbo Teen, Transformers, Thunder Cats, Voltron and He- Man...thanks!! brings back a lot memories!!...lol

  • i was trying to tell my buddy about this but i thought the name was lonestar or something i cant believe i finally found this thnx 4 posting

  • omg that brings back memories

  • what happened to these old cartoons

  • i love to find this kind of stuff, i'm not to old , i'm just 28....hehehehe

  • i'm right there with u man

  • same :)

  • damn,i thought this cartoon was in my head as a kid,i guess it did exist

  • FILMATION is legendary!!

  • Man! That's old school! I remember watching this show when I was in elementary school. It used to come on in the mornings at 8 am. What a great memory. Very cool.

  • I barely remember this cartoon and i'm 30 , thanks !

  • oh MAN i LOVED this cartoon as a kid! Everyone was all about He-man... and that was great... but MARSHELL BRAVESTARR!

    THAT IS AWESOME!

Got any episodes? upload them if you can!!!

  • No Im afraid I have no episodes. Would love some though. I must look for DVDs...

  • Apparently its coming to DVD this summer. I don't remember this toon either, lol.

  • Brillaint, loved this show, couldnt remember what it was called till I looked it up, no one remembers it!

  • It was a great cartoon. Im surprised hardly anybody remembers it. Its still on here in Ireland the odd time and I still watch it!

  • @cakeofcheese82 I remember that one. Also remember faaar too many other cartoons, but that's beside the point.

  • BraveStarr owns He-man 10-0!!

    WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOoooooooooooooo!!!!

  • dude you own! I searched this for AGES WOOO

  • Yeah, people think I'm nuts when I talk about this show too...this and Rock Lords.

  • omfg every time i talk to somone about this they thought i was crazy!

  • LEGEND...a talkin horse that stands on his 2 feet, so he can hold his gun...nice!!

  • damn..i loved this show..bravestar is awesome..i watched it every day as a kid.

  • The show was awesome! I'm still clinging to the hope that this gets a remake like He-Man/MotU.

  • this cartoon was cool way backe then, especially the movie! have you seen the movie? well i have :)

  • I am 24 yrs old and I remember watching this show when I was like 6 or 7. Everyone I talk to about the show has no idea what I'm talking about, I'm glad to see it's not forgotten.

  • Believe me it will NEVER be forgotten by its loyal fans like me, much like the Jetsons and Flinstones will never be by our parents, but the real question is do you remember "G-Force"? I will be surprised if someone else besides me does

  • OMFG!!!!!!!!!! BRAVESTARR RULES!!!!!!!! I LOVED THIS SHOW!!!!!! BRAVESTARR FOREVER!!!!!!!!

  • Brave Starr was okay, but no doubt He-Man could've kicked his ass!

  • Dude I can't belive someone had this sucker on here. Loved this show, this and SILVER HAWKS...common...don't act like you didnt watch that also.

  • I miss this kind of cartoon. Few of the ones showing now are worth watching.

  • Thank you SO MUCH for uploading this! I'm 28 and no one I talk to remembers Brave Starr. NO ONE. It's like it never existed. But then I see this! Yes!!!

  • becky2shoes, I'm 25 and not only do I remember this GREAT toon, but also other greats like Dinosaucers, Thundercats, and Captain Tsubasa. I'm glad that after all these years I've FINALLY found someone who I can share great nostalgic feelings with
