the psg1 typically fires the same .308 round that the G3 (or whatever it's called in this game- real name is 'G3' or "Gewher 3") fires. the barrel is better (leave it at that, I'm not going to explain how) and the gun is semi-auto only with a better trigger system- it's also outrageously expensive, which is why the MSG-90 was made (basically the same g-3 as in the game, with a better barrel, and a scope, and none of the trimmings that make a PSG a PSG).
