The balalaika band are playing their instruments, and are singing genuine Russian songs in Russian, although the second song looks a bit overdone. There were a lot of balalaika bands in Britain between the wars, mostly emigrees; but they did have some Brits playing in them. I don't want to talk about the dancers.
