True, it's a fact that Oasis rocked in the 90's, but by that time rockmusic was already very developed, but in 1958 there was no rockmusic in the UK and Cliff and The Shadows started it all in Britain. Quite an achievement for 17 year old Cliff and 16 year old Hank Marvin.

I've just listend for a Devil Woman by Cliff Richards,maybe at the beggining it sounds like that song and the beat of the drums sounds a bit similar but the whole song has also some unique things to listen.. also Waiting for a rapture at the begning sounds exactly like Five to one by The Doors, anyway Oasis have some very unique songs with his own and special sound ...still great band :)

can anybody tell me why the fuck dear prudence is played at the end of this? the chord structure is similiar throughout the song,but at the end, they just play dear prudence? with the same effects. why why why. cant come up with anything of your own? the beatles were about making diffferent music,doing things nnobody had heard before,always pushing the boundaries, its ironic that the band that chose to copy them has been playing the same stuff for the past 15 years!

I agree this is the best song on the new album. Tbh i realy like oasis. I just think some of the songs are repetative. Im sure they still have the different meanings and the lyrics are all totaly different. Just like every guitar riff and drum beat sounds exactly the same. Am i the only one who thinks this?

Sounds like a Duran Duran song! About time Oasis were a bit more adventurous in their musical direction, all this 'come on' and 'shine' in the lyrics is getting a bit old hat now. Dear Prudence intro springs to mind at the end of this track also. 7/10

In the beginning the song is quite promising but then it's boring as always. The end is nice again. A quite outro...It's a citation or more a copy of "Dear prudence" from the Beatles. I read, that Oasis reached Beatles quality with this song. I don't think so!
The Gallaghers Brothers have really talent. Ok. But they are not as great as their PR department wants us to think. Their ego is bigger than the Beatles.

True, it's a fact that Oasis rocked in the 90's, but by that time rockmusic was already very developed, but in 1958 there was no rockmusic in the UK and Cliff and The Shadows started it all in Britain. Quite an achievement for 17 year old Cliff and 16 year old Hank Marvin.
Like John Lennon once said, before Move It there was nothing in the UK.

my point is that it went out of fashion and it never realy was the mainstream. oasis is still rock music but a different type to what cliff richards is. it was all considerd an alternative type of music oasis changed it and then it became the MAINSTREAM!

Maybe you don't like Cliff, but Cliff and The Shads were pioneers of British rockmusic. They were the first in Britain and influenced thousands of others to start singing and playing guitar.

The Verve stole the foundation (note by note) for Bitter Sweet Symphony from The Andrew Oldham Orchestra. Coldplay ripped off Kraftwreck's "Computer Love" for their song "Talk". U2 ripped off Ted Nugent for "Bullet the blue skye". The Doors' "Hello I Love You" is pretty much the same as The Kinks "All Day And All Of The Night"...

I've just listend for a Devil Woman by Cliff Richards,maybe at the beggining it sounds like that song and the beat of the drums sounds a bit similar but the whole song has also some unique things to listen.. also Waiting for a rapture at the begning sounds exactly like Five to one by The Doors, anyway Oasis have some very unique songs with his own and special sound ...still great band :)
