You can't go there now. They closed it off from the general public. They ruined the local economy. They do this everywhere!

Nature Conservancy must buy as much land as possible. The future is ecosystem rehabilitation. I've bought ten years ago,ten acres of land that used to be monocultures crops. My aim was to rebuild from nothing a temparate mixed forest with native species. After ten years the results are truly amazing. Every year I see more and more species that appear in this young forest

My family and I spent 9 years on the Eastern Shore of Virginia and it is indeed a paradise. I lived on Parramore Island for a while and count it as a high point. Thanks James this place needs protecting.
