No way deep, Tamil is the original one for this song. For many of the excellent things hindi and other fellows have just to follow us.

The energy that is there in Enrenrum punnagai song is far higher than in the hindi version. Many of my Kannada friends are listeners of Tamil songs, especially when it is original.
