Since 1979 we have had 0.3c of warming, some of that was a step change due to the 1998 el nino.
The rest is due to the MDO (in conjunction with the long-term rise due to the recovery from the little ice age).
The warming from our anthropogenic carbon forcing has been impacted drastically by negative feedback, and is probably so small it is not measurable.
The MDO/LIA coupling is continuing this is why we have had stable temperatures since 1998; soon the temps will fall.

Any human created positive feedbacks are dwarfed by the one overiding negative feedback mechanism, and that is the OLR.
The OLR regulates the earths temperature on daily/weekly timescales.
It keeps the temperature within nature's set 'range'; it has proven to be capable of changing by 80w/m2 in a 4-month time frame (as it did in 2010)
So worrying about CO2's forcing of 1.9w/m2 is unnecessary.

It is the IPCC's scientists who are claiming that CO2 has more of an effect on the climate than simply its own greenhouse effect, not I.
They, therefore are the ones who have to justify why the warming from CO2 has been multiplied many times in their models, and where the empirical evidence is.
So far they have failed miserably to do this.

I think what we have to do is continue to test the science. So far the science of the AGW camp has proven to be shonky and totally wrong. Their claims of having a "consensus" of 99.9% of the worlds scientists is without foundation. What they have is a small number of scientists who unfortunately for financial reasons have joined the polemic.
Once the science is shown to have no basis that should be the end of the story.
But there are other forces involved in this.

The IPCC asked for his help when they were trying to find a sea level rise to back up their claims of a dangerous effect from CO2.
They had 33 scientists working on the sea level paper, but NOT ONE of them was a sea level specialist!
That is why they needed him. Unfortunately (for him from a financial point of view) he told them the truth, that there is no dangerous sea level rise.

if you have ever studied geology, plate tectonics and global warming you might realize what will happen when antarctica defrosts. currently greenland is on record as rising out of the sea at a rate of 1 inch per year (attributed to the ice melting). antarctica will also rise out of the sea (once enough ice melts) and is connected to every tectonic plate around the world, directly or indirectly. it has the potential to crack the earths crust and makes any other issue pale in comparison.

Greenland is rising alright, by 2" per year, it is because of ice-build up.
It was warmer than it is now for 3,000 years in the early Holocene and Greenland did not melt.
Even the IPCC does not agree with you, they said greenland could not melt for "several thousnds of years" even with a sustained warming of 5.5c !!
Antarctica would take even longer to melt.
So far we have seen less than 0.5c in 35 years.
