One more thing Ron -- do all of y'all in LA pronounce Bayou as "Ba - yoh"?? The reason I ask this is because when I stayed in Houston, we always called it as "Ba-yoo"...referring to our local bayous all over the city. I have heard Hank Sr pronounce "Ba-yoh", just like you have...and I think it was in the song "Jambalaya'.
Heard this back in 86, the construction company I worked for then sent me to N.O. in 87, and lo and behold, sure enough, I met a cajun gal who stole my heart and tamed me. We're still married and I consider myself one damn lucky yankee!!! (P.S. Please send crawfish, they don't know how to cook up north here!)
Great job Mr. Warner. When these critics produce and record their video, they can say Bayou the way they desire to do so. I love it, again great job.
