When it came to election time Dion failed. His carbon tax failed. His inability to form a coherent sentence made him fail. His lack of charisma made him look like a dork, which made him fail. Go ahead and bash Iggy for the fact that he went to Oxford, that he taught at Harvard; I would rather have an educated man as leader than fool like Dion.

The man was born here, raised here, travel the world, came back home. He is not a British citizen and he is not an American citizen, he is a Canadian citizen.

@angelsaints00 So is Alan Grayson, a progressive democrat who's got more balls to stick up to Republicans than anyone else in the US Government except maybe Al Franken. So was Millard Fuller, the founder of Habitat for Humanity. So was Thomas Paine, author of The Age of Reason. Are you going to openly attack someone based on their citizenship? I'm not hating on Dion's French accent. Him being a francophone doesn't make him a clown. It didn't make Chretien, Trudeau, Laurent, or any other Prime Minister to come out of Quebec. He looked like a clown, he did a terrible job in speeches, and just when I thought he could pull off an awesome coup d'etat and overthrow Harpers Government last year, he gave the worst rebuttal speech I had ever heard in Canadian history. Him being a clown has nothing to do with him being French

@angelsaints00 You don't have anything against Americans but you certainly hate Iggy for being American. You might as well say "I'm not racist, I have a black friend." Ignatieff has supported Canadian culture and human rights, including secular laws (not really going on in America at the moment). If anyone is trying to be more American in our politics, it's Harper.

Herp Derp wrong again. I didn't say anything against Harper wanting to be more American. So don't put words in my mouth. I was not the one attacking political leaders for being American, or wanting to be American, that was all you, nice try but you failed. In any case America has some great potential as far as some of their progressive democrats go, the two I previously mentioned- Al Franken and Alan Grayson are grade A political material. Also, I don't hate Harper, I just disagree with him

@ddpl365 This argument gets very old. Michael Ignatieff did not live in US long enough to qualify to become a US citizen. He is a Canadian citizen but not a US citizen.

Like I mentioned in a previous comment, a lot of these people who go on about how Ignatieff is OMG NOT CANADIAN are just as annoying as the people down south who went OMG OBAMA IS NOT AMURKIAN! He went to go teach at Harvard, one of the best schools in the world, people need to get over it.
