  • Some of his comedy is pretty good

  • Tom Green is the shit. He sounds like Alan from Hangover.

  • Isn't this just homophobic? Bill wouldn't care if Justin and Britney were kissing on MTV

  • Tom is just mowing all over O'reilly with blatant sarcasm.

  • How did Tom neglect to mention his point? That the parents are the problem, not mass media.

  • Bill O'Reilly is a pile of shit. And equally as intelligent.

  • Tom Green is the shit owed bill

  • Ahhhh logic, why do you mock conservatives so!

  • @Rogov8

    So up spending then?

  • Dear Bill O'reilly, quit being a fuckhead. -Earth

  • lol its O'Reilly's way or the Highway lol what a joke.

  • As an adult, we choose how & what actions are taken in or out of the presence of children. Our actions can be reflected upon a child in a positive or negative manor. Children look up to us, we are hero's to them. We act as rolemodels, grandfathers, grandmothers, mother's, father's, brother's and best freinds. What kind of influence are we presenting to the children of today, when they are going to be the adults of tommorow. Choices that we make today can influence their choices of tomorrow.

  • Tom Green was on MTV like 15 years ago.. lol

  • Reilly's a fucking hypocrite.

  • I think we can all agree, MTV has been complete shit for years.

  • lmao I love it when Bill says "I just asked a question you neatly dodged" XD

  • What if your kids see lesbians kissing on the street, isn't that the same thing you fuck!?

  • I don't have my kids watch MTV I do let them watch Fox news however then they show the MTV footage. Why do I try

  • its actually said that bill tries to grill tom while tom is actually trying to have a good conversation

  • Really sad how O'Reilly thinks he's the person with the right answers. He's just like an extremist ...

  • I don’t care what any of the “haters” say about Bill O'Reilly, he is the greatest comedian that ever lived!!

  • "Let me tell you why you're wrong..."

    Great, Bill.

  • actually tom green is lying he was a rapper circa 1990 look up the group "organized rhyme"

  • Bill O'Reilly doesn't know anything, it's kinda embarrasing seeing a comedian clearly knowing more on these subjects than Bill. It's kind of Bill's job to be reflected on these things. Way to go Tom :)

  • O) so his names Bill haha

  • Id love to see tom and tim in a tv show together because they dont agree on absolutley anything hah, the next kenny vs spenny possibly ?

  • This is the most normal, fair and civil debate I've ever seen Bill O'Reilly in, and it was with TOM GREEN!!!! are you serious!!! Bill looses his shit and looks like a moron when he interviews politians and scholars!! but when interviewing the star of "FREDDY GOT FINGERED" he's calmb and mature! what a fuckin joke!

  • All I know is I don't want to live in a society that allows that kind of pointless crap. It is not acceptable.

  • @SteveStap1 We have to be more aware of the desensitization that TV is allowing the youth to be subjected to. It is worse now days than ever before, the line has got to be drawn somewhere, it is simply not acceptable.

  • how is letting kids watch Mtv any worse than sending your kids to church, that has an image of a man.tortured and nailed to a cross, told he died for "their" sins (guilt trip) and if you dont believe this shit even without evidence you will be punished for ever and ever in hell?

  • @coltsrule5150

They do not have to feel guilty for Jesus that is not the point.

Anyway ... Tom is right on about some things here.

  • Tom saying "I'm not a rapper" when he's got more flow than most of the rappers out there. And a few rap albums too lol Tom is the fuckin king.

  • i hate bill-o the clown as much as the next guy but i can kinda see his point here to a certain extent...rap could get by with a lot of it if it didnt come off sounding like they promote and endorse the things they rap about

  • In the great words of letterman "you're a goon"

  • YOU KNOW WHAT IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT YOU CAN SUCK HIS NUT!

  • Comment removed

  • omg Bill O'Reilly is such a douche... He wants to argue that these things shouldn't be on television because there are bad parents out there. Really dude? Things on television should be censored because there are dumb ass parents out there... right?? What a very well thought out and structured argument.

  • I think its far less dangerous for 10 year old children to watch MTV unsupervised, with all the risk of potentially enlightening them to other lifestyles and social classes, than to risk them watching Bill O'Reilly unsupervised. How do you explain, as a rational parent, the hate mongering and social elitism this guy preaches on a nightly basis..for profit..as he likes to explain it when he refers to everyone else. This guy is no more than a shock jock for the Neocon right.

  • Comment removed

  • Fox news makes me feel good about myself. It's always nice to listen to ignorant, narrow minded scum.

  • "I don't think it should be in my living room." Yeah Bill, that's why televisions come with remote controls. I'm sick and tired of douchebags like this that want other people to make different choices because they're too irresponsible to change the fucking channel.

  • I would tell my 10 year old, that there are gays and lesbians. just like black people and white people, its just a normal part of life.

  • Bill pretty much discredited himself by labelling Eminem as "Gansta rap", idiot, and films ARE massively cultural.

  • @TheProducerPeople Bill Discredited himself as a rap expert, damn and I thought he was the end all be all source on all things hip-hop...

  • @ajatkinson2004 I know, right?!

  • @ajatkinson2004

    ROFL.

  • Well, for once I must agree with most of O'Reilly's points, how about that. Parents should indeed put things into context, but music nowadays consists for a large part out of pure rubbish. And the parents of nowadays treat their (sometimes bastard) offspring as saint, skipping the teaching of morals and hell, common sense.

  • @avdmeers

Exactly. Most people who come to this page already have their mind made up as to who won this debate before they even hear the discussion.. People think they're being open minded by bashing O' Reilly, when really it's just false..

This generation Y will eventually have to one up its level of thinking beyond *goodies and baddies; I am a goody, he is a baddy; O' Reilly is a baddy, therefore all of his arguments are bad..* if there is to be any REAL social revolution.

  • lol tom he is good

  • Never EVER have I commented on any video any chat any internet post....but enough car crash viewing for me! Bill OReilly is exactly the type of person that cause the rest of the world to dislike all Americans. An arrogant big mouth know it all that won't let well informed educated people get to their point while he talks over them with juvenile based argument, muttering under his breath etc., really those people who judge cannot be faulted. Lucky the educated don't paint with a broad brush.

  • Cont. It's all because of Political Correctness and to dumb down the people by making them listen to new age rappers like I mentioned these days on the radio and take there mind off of Politics and the "old age", everyone listens to the same thing these days. Rappers who talk about police brutality, politics, racism, dope, pimping, and gangster life tend to scare the Governement and the other Intelligence Agencies, so instead they make you listen to degenerate dancing fake rappers.

  • Rap music nowadays is a bunch of fake and preppy idiots on the radio "rapping" about their nikeys and talking about their clothes and do stupid dances. People don't understand about how 5 to 6 years ago rap was actually legitimate. Back then there was N.W.A, Ice Cube, Scarface, UGK, Too Short, Snoop Dogg, Public Enemy, Geto Boys, Dr. Dre, and many others. Now it's all the same shit, Lil Wayne, Drake, B.O.B, T-Pain, Nicki Minaj, 50 Cent, Soulja Boy and fake bullshit put out by the Jew Media.

  • @Speed7743 Correction, MAINSTREAM rap is shit. Try some slaughterhouse or something. Seriously, the radio only plays shit so of course if thats the only rap you hear you would think all rap is shit.

  • Why is he talking to Tom Green about rap culture???

  • Bill O' Reilly interrupts Tom almost every time he talks, but when Tom tries to interrupt he tells him to wait.

  • @loganator01 That just how the mofo is

  • O reilley hurt me much more then tupac and biggi and emenem and NAS ice cube method man and i skip the other.

  • He is right these fucking slut just over sexualise the society it's not normal that my 6 years old cousin watch the video clip im sexy and i know it.

    Fuck.

  • @QCBEC Be careful, there might be children reading you comment.

  • I love you Tom but you are just another puppet of MTV that's sad

  • Bill loves to here himself talk, cause he never let's you finish your statement before he's asking another queston. Us Canadians all ways let others have their say. It's just being polite that's all.

  • Lmao awesome

  • hahaha tom raped him

  • Tom Green is completely right.

  • Fox news is full of bitches and ho's...

  • "I can say bitches and ho's on Fox,really, there may be children watching"

    right on Tom

  • @750tblack

Tom lost this debate.. deal with it...

    LOLZZ

  • @gdoddmeta3608

Proclaiming "that the world is flat" is not in anyway a proof that the world is indeed flat.

Did you not take any sort of science courses in school? Do you understand what the scientific method is?

The real puzzle is, what/who came first, Fox News or the Idiots who support it?

  • @Theobrothers

LOLZ at pseudo intellectual who still watches Dragonball z and infers that I am a 'Fox News Supporter' just because I am in favor of O' Reilly's in THIS debate.

    LOLZ

    LOLZZZ

  • @gdoddmeta3608

No, I'm inferring you are an "FNS" because of your lack of discourse ethics. You have no facts, you have proven nothing, you cite no evidence, and you use Ad Hominem as your singular tool in debate.

You're the Bart to my Lisa in this Intellectual battle of Rock Paper Scissors.

  • @750tblack

Yes, I love it whenever anybody owns that arrogant douchebag. Fox News exists for the weak and small minded.

  • bitches and hoes

  • I would tell my 10year old daughter she's not old enough to watch mtv just like she's not old enough to watch R-rated movies. If there are kids without parents and watching mtv then I doubt the things they hear on mtv are their biggest problem.

  • @davitodude

    Well said!

  • BOATS N HOES

  • NO &$#@ MTV

  • lmfao tom green was a rapper in the rap group called organized rhyme...billy is a fucking dumbass! i love how tom green acts like he knows no more then bill himself about rap! haha fuck....check it out organized rhyme reunited /watch?v=QnNjlrJWJ6I&feature=related

  • did not know tom green had children

  • Tom Green morally offended about anything? Bill-O is truly a clown: salacious, libertine, lesbianism. He had just learned those words 5 minutes before this aired. What a Bitch-Ho. Why would he have Tom Green on?

  • Plastic Bag! Plastic Bag! Plastic Bag! Plastic Bag! Plastic Bag!

  • Hate Bill but I'm with him on this one.

  • Bill O'really just loves to invite people on his show to start a real man's fight because he knows nothing will happen to him on camera.

  • @gusterk Another thing is that it's hard to explain to a child that it's ok to listen to rap but not actually speak and behave that way. They're simple minded and to them it translates as: It's bad but fun to listen to but don't do it. That's a confusing message especially when rap is so pervasive in the culture. It's even worse for inner city youth because their parents don't have hours to spend on such discussions since they're more concerned with survival and immediate income.

  • there are millions of badly parented children that listen to rap music and you want to blame the music????? WHY ARE THESE PEOPLE SO IGNORANT? How can you blame the music that badly parented children listen to when they act out? Is it really not that obvious? Its the fucking parenting.

  • @gusterk I don't like Bill but i agree with him about the rap music being harmful to the mentalities of children who don't have good parents or even parents at all. Inner city youth, even youth from middle class families are in a pathetic state because gangsta rap culture encourages a crooked and intellectually degrading lifestyle.

Having bad parents sucks on its own, but growing up in a gangsta rap culture just compounds that bad situation and makes it worse.

  • Bill O'Reilly is the backward man .

  • Isnt it the weirdest thing that FAUX news DOESNT defend free speecH???

  • lmao tom green is hilarious in this interview.

  • Tom says he's not a rapper. He was in Organized Rhyme!!! A rap group!!

  • What's wrong with children seeing same gender people kiss?

  • can we say bitches on fox channel? we should be careful because kids are watching

    LOL tom green ! ))

  • @muratner i was like WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! when he said that. awesome reply.

  • "i probablly listen to more rap music then you" really? MC bones listens to more rap music then bill o'rielly?

  • christina aguilera looked so fuckin hot there. bill was probably hiding his boner under the desk lol.

  • @UltraProle21 too bad she turned into a disgusting beast :[

  • O'Reilly has no fucking clue who this guy is. He even made the Jackass people look tame...before anyone ever heard of Jackass.

  • Tom Green? Can't Explain That.

  • And movies don't have HALF the impact on culture that music does.. not HALF

  • @gdoddmeta3608

    Proof forthcoming?

  • O'Reilly is so fucking annoying...

  • I think there's a lot of personal bias here for Tom Green and against O'Reilly, and it's pettifogging everyone's judgement on THIS particular debate, in THIS context.

I'm a huge fan of Tom Green myself, and most of the time I'm AGAINST whatever argument O'Reilly is making, but I have to take exception here.

O'Reilly came with his guns loaded. He stated his points clearly and concisely.

Maybe his views on 'rap' as a genre are a little misguided, but that's not what this debate was about.

  • @gdoddmeta3608 O'Reilly is a racist. What he is really saying is he does not like the fact that blacks are taking over mainstream America.

  • @hallnoats4ever

How is that racist? I don't know if you've noticed, but the white race is declining.. How is it racist to have pride in your race, and to be more than a little upset when it goes down the shitter?

  • @gdoddmeta3608 Hey man I am on your side. I am a white man in America who lived in the 80's and saw rap and the black culture explode in the early 90's. I went home after 7 years and did not see even 1 white girl with a white boyfriend, every white girl had one or several blacks around her. I hate that Happy Feet 2, a movie for kids, has baby penguins acting black and rapping. I hate that I can't find a dance club that doesn't play rap. My sister and cousins all act black. It sucks!

  • @hallnoats4ever I heard your mom went for some black stuff too.

  • @rrhynes your mom sucked the shit of my dick after I pulled it out of your dad's ass, bitch nigger

  • @gdoddmeta3608

I think when it's obvious someone you like gets pounded into the ground in a debate you tend to claim bias instead of factually dissect the debate as a whole and each sides position.

Your claim, in respect to your bias towards Tom or Bill isn't something you can prove by telling me so. I'll have to stick with who you seems to be supporting in the face of overtly obvious facts.

Bill's argument, of 10 year olds being more so MTV's responsibility than their parents, is asinine.

  • @Theobrothers

I don't even care for Bill O'Reilly honestly. I don't feel one way or the other about him. But I've been a Tom Green fan since the 90's.. I'm sorry if you can't understand the idea of 'open-mindedness', the idea of not always being on the side of whoever you like more.

It's just so 'hip' to hate on O'Reilly.. the people that come to this page see every one else posting negative comments about him, so they join in.. It's called 'herd instinct', and it mystifies.

  • @gdoddmeta3608

Again, moot point. I cannot prove one way or another if you like or dislike either. I can merely see you have a weak ass argument at best and an obviously Bill O' Biased argument at worst.

As for being hip, I'm so opinionated I doubt I could ever be accused of following the crowd, I can't speak for others here, but I think it's obvious that Tom made a fool of Bill O' Reilly here. Unless of course you agree with Bill's flawed argument, and then I'm sure you'd think otherwise.

  • @Theobrothers

'10 year olds being more so MTV's responsibility than parents'

This is NOT his argument.. Parents have the GREATEST responsibility for their children, but MTV also has responsibility, taking into consideration that a good amount of children ARE unsupervised when they watch television. And I think that's what you're missing here.. MOST PARENTS TODAY DON'T GIVE A SHIT. MOST PARENTS ALLOW TELEVISION AND VIDEO GAMES TO RAISE THEIR CHILDREN.

  • @gdoddmeta3608

    That was his argument.

I'll gladly count up the amount of times and the fervor to which he states parents are responsible, and then do the same for MTV's role.

Again, if your 10 year old, is up past 9pm unsupervised watching TV, there is really only 1/2 people you can blame for them learning something you'd rather them not learn.

I'm not missing anything. You can't say "PARENTS TODAY DON'T GIVE A SHIT" and then not blame them entirely for their kids being flawed

  • Bill is so ignorant.

  • ... plenty of people who live and breathe swear words, but are not huge fans of rap. Just sayin... also, if your going to invite someone on your show, let them speak an entire sentence without interrupting.

  • Bill O'Reilly is stupid on lesbians. What is wrong with showing women kissing. There's a reason people hate lesbians and gays is because the parents hate lesbians. 10 year olds girls (and boys for that matter) has every right to learn what same gender kissing is... As to rap, both rap and movies alike affect our culture, yes. Its not the rap that creates the languages, its what they (children) grow up hearing in their houses (by parents or older siblings). I don't listen to rap, but I know ...

  • You have to be pretty fucking retarded to make a man who has jacked off a horse, swung a newborn baby around his head by its umbilical cord and simulated sex with a rotten decomposing moose in the name of entertainment look calm, intelligent and rational...

  • "that's kinda fun.. We can say 'bitches and hoes' on the Fox News Channel?... We should be careful though, there could be kids watching" Ha! That was great

  • @locutus94

Eh, not really. I mean, It wasn't a zinger or anything, when you take into account that CNN is not marketed to children and young teenagers, whereas MTV IS. "There could be kids watching". What fucking kids will actually sit down and watch cnn? The ratio of this demographic watching cnn to watching mtv is probably around 1 to 1 billion.

This is an age group that will believe and introject most of what they see and hear on a regular basis; there has to be discretion..

  • bum fights was worthless, should have payed bums to come up with their own crazy ideas to do on camera or leave them alone if they don't want to

  • Bill O'Reilly needs a hug..

  • Things that make this Interview Awesome.

    1. Tom Green holding back laughing throughout the interview.

    2. Tom pretending to only know rap a bit more than Bill, when he was a rapper in Canada.

    3. Tom showing more serious thought about parenting than Bill.

    4. Bill calling Tom, Mr. Green, LMAO.

You know you're a tool when Tom Green looks more thoughtful than you.

    LoL.

  • @Theobrothers

I'd have to disagree. Bill O'Reilly is in another arena intellectually, and his points are more valid.

With power comes responsibility. MTV has great power; it has the power to shape the collective consciousness of the millions of children and teenagers (the demographic MTV targets) who watch the programs and take it in.. Bill emphasizes the importance of parental guidance... Tom Green denounces the psychological effects of 'entertainment'.

  • @gdoddmeta3608

Yes the LEGO playland arena, lol. What points did he make that were "more" valid than Toms.

FOX shapes the minds of the millions of the voting public. How is MTV more relevant than FOX?

Tom actually was the one bringing up and emphasizing the importance of parental guidance, Bill merely agreed and kept pushing the TV raises kids ideology. Did you watch the video? LoL...

  • @Theobrothers

FOX shaping the minds of voters is a completely different issue. Voters are ADULTS who can ultimately make up their own minds (more or less) to a greater extent. Most of the people watching MTV, however, are children and young teenagers who will believe and introject most of everything they see and hear.

At 3:18, Bill is the first to bring up 'parental guidance'.. nowhere in this video do I see Tom bringing up or 'emphasizing' parental guidance.. Did YOU watch the video?

  • @gdoddmeta3608

LoL. Adults who watch and believe FOX can no more make up their mind or think for themselves than a child watching MTV. It's a fact.

You mean at 3:02? lol. "that's again parental whatever" is 100% advocating parental guidance in a serious manner. Follow that by stating over and over stating it shouldn't be there and it's appropriateness. Bill, during this interview, was in NO way seriously advocating parental guidance .

  • @Theobrothers

Well, I think there's a difference between an adult watching fox and being brainwashed into voting for or against someone, and a child (10 years old or 17 years old) watching MTV and incorporating attitudes and life lessons and entire value systems based on 'jersey shore' and the vma slutfest and whatever else comes on..

  • @gdoddmeta3608

    There is really no difference.

I really can't agree that most "children" get their "life lessons" from MTV. LoL

There is no factual basis for such an opinion.

  • @Theobrothers

I think anyone who reads these comments and isn't biased one way or the other will understand who had the 'weak ass argument'. Remember, your original argument was comprised of:

-Bill wins? LoL in conclusion, "Bitches and Hoes"-

    and

-You know you're a tool when Tom Green looks more thoughtful than you.LoL.-

You went from that, to TRYING to sound intellectual and factual.. I don't know man.. it just sounds like you're full of shit if you ask me..

  • @gdoddmeta3608

I was stating what made the interview awesome for me and it got upvoted to top comments.

My original comment has nothing to do with my argument. My argument is in response to your asinine ramblings and opinion based "facts".

I like to respond to people who make incorrect statements and have laughable positions, i.e you.

Fallacious argumentation a little hard to defend with logic huh?

Gotta go with the back up; "my text is bigger than your text therefore I'm right"

    LoL.

  • @Theobrothers

Fagot BITCH. Tom Green got fucking OWNED.

  • @gdoddmeta3608

Good Argument. You have learned well from the FOX school of intellectual discourse.

  • @Theobrothers

wow, dragonball z sucks... I think I stopped watching that show when I was like, 12.. like, around the same time I started reading and having interest in girls...

    gtfo fagot

  • @gdoddmeta3608

Yet you still haven't grown out of Ad Hominem attacks as your primary debate tool?

    ROFL.

  • @Theobrothers

Oh no, it's not my 'primary' means of debating.. but it works in this case..

You see, I think the fact that you like dragonball z DOES say something about your level of intelligence..

    O' Reilly ftw.

    Theobrothers gtfo

    LOLZ

    LOLZZZ

  • Comment removed

  • The whole thesis of his argument is that MTV is responsible for the items they place on the air, and as such are responsible for anything, that Bill deems, detrimental.

Tom Green has a, more intelligent, and quite frankly more provable, thesis. This being; MTV and Rap music should be taken as seriously as a movie would AND if your kids are watching something you as a parent disapprove of you shouldn't be letting them, AND you should be discussing with them the details of that disapproval.

  • Also, wouldn't have the 2003 MTV Movie Awards been aired at like 5pm instead of 9PM (ET/PT) if it were truly being marketed towards "kids". Teens of course but it's a stretch to say kids.

Bill's point - "Movie, is a movie is a one shot deal"

LoL really? No one recites movie dialogue, plays out scenes, or rewatches movies, lol..

Tom's point - Perfect comparison of Rap lyrics to movies. "Movies are just as large a part of culture as MTV is"

    Bill wins? LoL

    in conclusion, "Bitches and Hoes"

  • @Theobrothers

You're splitting hairs.. Children can and will stay up after 9pm. Most children have televisions in their rooms anyway, and they probably stay up watching television long after 9pm, since most of them are being raised by television.

And it's not much of a stretch to say teens ARE kids.. Especially the 13-15 y/o's who are the target audience. These are KIDS.

    "Bill wins? LoL"

Yeah, I can see what kind of person I'm talking to here..

  • @gdoddmeta3608

While 13-17 year olds fall within the definition of a kid or child, it's a stretch to then use kids of children as the defined demographic of MTV. Kids and Children refer to any age below 18. I doubt greatly that MTV's demographic is from 0-10. So to say MTV markets to children or kids, while by definition is true, is a disingenuous statement.

Not to mention the age Bill reiterates continuously throughout the piece is 10. It's such an asinine argument.

  • People who talk shit on Tom Green and see him only as a complete ass clown (which that's why he's fucking hilarious and why people love him; it's his schtick!), hopefully this video helps to cast him in a different light, and one that will show Tom as a person and human being rather than JUST an entertainer. I've always thought Tom Green is fucking hilarious. Long live Tom Green. "He's a molester... He's a CHIIIIIIIIIIILLLLLLLLDDDDD molester!!!!" -Freddy Got Fingered

  • Bill, you make yourself look retarded

    .

  • Bill is such a goon

  • Bitches and hoes.

  • You should be careful there might be kids watching

  • lol Bill O'Reilly is so stuck-up. Why did green even come on his show in the first place .

  • FUCK FOX NEWS

  • @xFearlessIx Nice comment, dumbfuck.

  • Bill is such a moron.

  • watch tom green at 3:14, hes trying so hard not to laugh!

  • "I'm not a rapper" What? Why would he say that. He most certainly is a rapper. He was in Organized Rhyme. The just performed live on television a couple weeks ago.

  • bill oreilly's bs even gets tom green worked up

  • I like how Bill uses all these hand gestures.. as if someone is in front of him

  • LoL @ "some kind of sex"

  • I love how Tom just blows off Bill O's dumb ass and imitates him!!

  • Bill O'Reilly FUCK YOU!!! TOM GREEN IS THE MAN!!

  • I want my 8 minutes and 24 seconds back.

  • I laughed so hard when he said there could be kids watching. Tom Green is awesome.

  • Fuck tom's alpha as fuck.

  • Erm .. the offending portion... erm.. sex.. erm.. naughty stuff
