Search "Spider Farm Too Human" and do that, or just replay levels. Getting the best armor is completely random and takes upwards of 100 hours. It will be red, and people call it "Epic Armor." Red, "epic" weapons can be found at the weapon store in Aesir at random times. They cost from 800,000 to 1.37 million bounty.

If you use your grenade shot from a rifle then you can get down 1 of those platforms in 2 shots so if you see where he'll land shoot that one down and he'll instantly go down a lvl, much faster.

duel wielding pistols in this game though ( as a commando ) is badass. Its been a dream to be in a game that lets me shot 2 targets at once. even crossing arms and rotating targets like a badass gun slinger movie. Other wise the bosses fights....lacking a fight.

5 classes, 2 alignments apiece thats 10 different characters with different fighting abilities. For each character theres 3 different paths on the skill tree and 2 different paths on the alignment. Just in choosing your character you have 60 different combinations. Epic armor, runes and charms augment your character differently too. I have already put 300+ hours into the game and still havent seen what every character can do.

It is an incredibly long game. Yes you can go from beginning to end in 6 hours, but that doesnt make it a short game. I finished GOW2 in a little over 6 hours on casual, did that make Gears a short game? No, because I knew I was going to go back and run through Normal, Hardcore and Insane, Hoarde and multiplayer. And Too Human is the same way. You dont have different difficulties or Hoarde but you have different classes, alignments, levels, charm quests and customizable armor and weapons.

All though it's short... you'll be replaying it so much. Especially if you actually enjoy the game. You'll constantly grind for loot and crap and you can even play Co-op which isn't actually that bad.

Speaking of ruiners... if you're gong to use one, always ALWAYS slide into it. It only costs half the combo meter.

Any ideas on a Hod strategy for the berserker? His ranged skills suck and this boss can just be a death trap. Do Fierce attacks work well (or at all) on the pods?

equip a slug rifle, i find that even with the berserker these babies can pack quite a punch.

Thanks for the input. I did try using staff fierce with my Berserker - each pod destroyed in 2 hits. I only got killed once by a poisoned Dark Elf, not hurt too much by Hod himself, so it should be an effective strategy if you're not careless like I was.

Later tried using hammer fierce attacks with my Champion and it worked even better, took those pods out in no time (usually hitting two at once) and Hod barely scratched me - I reckon this is the way to go for a Berserker.

I don't know the Champion class too well, but wouldn't a rifle be better here? If you can hit the pod Hod is standing on with secondary fire, he often jumps away, thus reducing the amount of time he spends shooting you. Manual reload as quick as you can, and aim carefully.

Also, second xxrootmanxx's comment about the elves - launching them, then melee air combos & finishers was the way to go there. Using ruiners on them was a huge waste of combo meter.

i'd like to see it done without dying. This fight is so simple no one needs to really be shown how to do it.

Also, what's with juggling elves with a pistol. Melee finisher in the air and you'll turn them into instant poo.
