Yeah she started to mention how she and Jesse (I assume she's talking about Jesse Spencer from House) were on the same show. Actually a bunch of neighbour alumni are in the states atm. The one that played Bree Timmins is currently on Hung.

Of all the actors and actresses that have left Neighbours to pursue overseas projects I would have never thought that Dichen Lachman would be one of the few to become so successful. Good for her.

Remember that's Joss's thing. He's some combination of in love with/scarred for life by his growing up for a while in Britain. Anything he can do to get a british accent (British actors, Americans doing British Accents, Aussies, Even Aussies doing British accents now apparently). He hasn't a tv show that hasn't had a British character, though Serenity (the film) didn't have a main one that I can think of.
