George I would like to say thank you for keeping me sane....I've been talking about this issue of Higher food, clothing and Real Estate prices since '1995...some people thought that I was crazy, but they are paying attention to me now....Yes I do trade the commodity, stock and currency markets. But the most profitable markets now are just the commodities and currency markets. Keep doing these great videos......Plus I am a subcriber.....
Very annoying. This video keeps displaying the atomic donut and I have to wait for the next bit of video to download. Every 3 seconds, it interrupts. Why?
Just pause it for about 30 secs, It sould stay ahead of its self, If not wait like 1 min more..But you prob allready know that im just trying to help out..in case..
LaRouche says that everything will really start collapsing around October 15th or so; strangely enough that is when the IRS also wants its money from those who got extensions. It's a "bankruptcy deadline." Read more about it.
best way to properly value a home is to take 100-120 x the rental price (price you could rent the home for) and that is the real value....that's where the market is headed...I love renting
I live near Philadelphia and I can tell you that we have BRUTAL summers. I am friends with a girl who lived in Nevada for a couple of years and she constantly says "Nevada isn't that hot, it HOT HERE!". Of course, all I see is the 108degrees and I think what that would feel like here. Humidity rarely drops below 60% and that is pretty low. It often is in the 80 -90% humidity.
We really do need to go back to simpler times. What good is a cell phone or a blackberry if you don't have money to eat.
I'm not at this point yet but not too far off in the distant future, I'm going back to my wif'es family co-op hometown farm, building a nice house on it(paid for), making a huge garden, cutting wood for energy and live a simpler existence.
Gerald Celente said that when people lose everything, they lose it. Well, George has just given more credibility to Gerald, the trends are evident. Current events do define future trends. We are pressed to reinvent the wheel to survive. As 2010, 2011, and 2012 come closer there are forces at work that will core the most arrogant SOB out there with a shot of reality.
Helli George!!.. nice makes you think video. I don,t live too far away from similar economic situations....do be careful when speaking to homeless people. Some will attack you for no reason when you leat expect it aaand maybe off guard. Be Careful!! Peace!!
You have better weather in South CA? Man I am from Mississippi (100 deg, 98% hum), I die in CA heat. I am so used to high humidity, I cant sweat enough without it to keep me a reasonable temp.
I know how sweat works.. I am a BSME... heat transfer and thermodynamics are my bread and butter.
I dont sweat much in high humidity, because I am used to it. Like you say it doesnt do any good if it doesnt evaporate so your body adapts. The side effect is I dont drink or retain nearly as much water.
I go to a arid place and it evaporates quickly, so I sweat more, and I dehydrate, so I stop sweating, and overheat.
So...like I said... I cant sweat enough to keep me a reasonable temp.
Haha you have no idea what you are talking about. Why the hell is it hotter in dry places than humid places then? The reason I can't compare temperatures is because it is hotter in nearly all dry places idiot.
I didnt think I would find someone so demeaned in their personal life that calling people douchebags and morons in youtube comments would be an ego boost to them.
Is this what people do before they move up to become gaming forum trolls?
I know I am probably totally wrong in my analysis of you... in real life you are a probably a Jedi or something.
I got rid of a mobile phone about 5 years ago. It's £300+ a year saving. A pay rise for a lot of people.
I can't afford to buy gold anymore. Price is too expensive. I reckon there'll be a crash in a month or 2, taking gold and silver down for a short spell, just like last Autumn(fall), then I'll buy as much as I can afford.
I don't want to end up like that drunk fella at the start of the vid. : /
George, you're absolutely right. I got rid of my cell phone so I could stock up on food. I only use my work phones. I picked up a second, POS security job working nights and thank God I did before the market flooded. I've been listening to Peter Schiff for a while now so I was ahead of the curve (although everything could go belly up).
I must say that the moral character of Germans was already dependent on the state thanks to Bismark. Americans aren't. We did resist NHC.
Right on my man. I grew up in a small town in Europe where barter was still the major currency for part of my infancy. Let me tell you, all the older folks said the same thing about the old days: people were poorer back in the day but everyone was much happier. Compare that to our current conditions... everyone has "everything" although everyone's miserable. Getting back to basics is sometimes exactly what we need. Just prepare yourselves mentally, the rest it easy and very natural, actually.
George, you should talk about that new shopping center being built on Arlington Ave, right near the end of Madison Street in Riverside. I'm not sure why a place like that is being built. I'm curious to see what your views on that are.
Some analysts say the housing market won't bottom out for at least another year- and after that, we've overbuilt, too much inventory. Not a good time to buy.
To noncompliant2- there will be one more USA Dollar rally, when the stock marker takes a second double dip, many people will go to bonds, cash and cd's. The Dow is at 9400, when the dow goes back down to 6500, thats when GOLD might take off, but gold may go down below $850.00, when the double dip starts to begin.
Should take a look at some of the King World News interviews here on Youtube. They have compelling arguments that show a collapse in Gold is possible. Yes, I understand the fundamentals are very strong but they point out important policy about the CDC and GOLD as a financial instrument is traded. From what they've been saying they anticipate a heavy sell off in gold. I think this will be the last sell off though. Worth looking into.
Thanks George. Yeah, California has the great weather. I grew up in the Midwest, my wife in SoCal. I took her back to St. Louis for 4th of July..."never again" she said. 102 degrees with 90% humidity...
I loved the first guy with the hat. He reminds me of my neighbor Mike who enjoys spending his monthly SSI check on alchohol during the first few days of the month and then begs for money the rest of the month.

108 is damn hot no matter where it is. LOL
But you notice how people drop like flies in the east coast during heat waves. Its because the humidity makes you hotter and you cant sweat it off.

That is exactly what I said to her. But yea, the humidity makes it so much worse.

You don't know how it works you idiot.
When its humid your sweat can't evaporate, which causes your skin to cool.
Thats why dry air is always cooler than humid air.
