At 7:31 in the thrid period Philedalphia defenceman delivered an Illegal hit to CSKA Moscow forward Valeri Kharlamov the video clearly shows that the incidental contact was high targeting the head, Kharlamov does not put himself into the position. Ed van impe could avoid check completely or reduce contact
I'm not trying to start any form of argument here, just asking a simple question that I might find the answer to on my own. But why was Kharlamov laying there... Sure that was a bit of a crunch, but come on, van Impe hit him from the side and dazed him. I don't know, I guess in my opinion and from what I saw, he shouldn't have just laid there like that....
