@EpicBlastoise75432 It's Bug/Steel but where the bug part comes in, grass was the closest they could get too that. It's like putting Golem as a fighting type card.

How do you use a prime card?

For example, if I had the Cyndaquil evolution, would I need to have Typhlosion down before I put the Typhlosion PRIME down?

@PokeSquirtleSaysHi Primes are only evolution cards. They are not like level X's like you're thinking. The evolution would be Cyndaquil-Quilava-Typhlosion Prime.

Yes! I wayyy prefer this format.

There is no need to explain such cards as pokemon communication/collector, it just makes the matches wayy slower. It will also make people learn what cards do what.

What i think you might want to do is explain a card/power/attack once, then for the remainder of the battle, just play it through (although I know it might be hard to keep track.

@Insector07 what you could do is not explain simple cards everyone knows like for example, switch. Then, for not so common cards you could briefly explain the just of what they do. Finally, with pokemon attacks you just put damage counters on the opposing pokemon to show us the damage and it there is extra text(like flipping a coin) then you can just briefly explain that.

I hope this helps. THIS IS ONLY A SUGGESTION

Really not a fan of the new style. Sure you can do that with a few of the common cards like Collector but the pokemon abilities and attacks, I had no clue what they were, the damage, or the effects.
