  • WHATS BETTER MPC 2500 OR MV8000

  • What is better MPC or MV

  • do i need speakers for this or can i work through headphones?

  • Yo son! Youz from Noo Yoke?!!?

  • @OfficialFrizzo yo yo. nah not originally, but I'm living out in the city now

  • @JSplitProductions Hey, JSplit, I just picked up 1 of these and I need your whole video, do you have the 411 on gettin the whole video?

    Thanks,

    Crispy

  • Nice Video Bro! I got 1 on ebay thinking I purchased the 8800, but I'll be ok with the 8000 I hope ;)

  • @digitaljosh the 8800 is nice because it's in color and that makes it visually appealing, but they are pretty much the same machine so you're better off saving some money and copping the 8000 like you said.

  • thanks..but Ive kinda moved away from the prod workstation idea..for now.

but thanks anyway for the info.

  • question.. can you hook up your desktop to the 8000?

  • @DJUncleSkeeter my bad 4 takin a while to get back to ya...but ..yea man you just need to get the VGA adaptor. I think they discontinued them, but I'm not sure. Even if they did you can still find them.

  • @JSplitProductions thanks brotha

  • excellent video Split....Roland should hire you.

  • thank you...

  • @GtrGeorge thank you, i appreciate that.. check out some of the freestyle i've done. I'll have more of my music up here soon. REAL songs, not freestyles. thanks again George.

  • @GtrGeorge I wish!! I appreciate the positive feedback tho, thanks.

  • My production is on the Roland MV 8000!!! The buttons are starting to break on mine though!!!! DAM!!

    "MOSHAE MUSIC"

  • Can you get it fixed? Im thinking about buying a MV8000...but if the pads cant be replaced..I'll change my mind..maybe reconsider the mpc1000.

  • I tried to take it apart but no luck b/c the guts inside is to complicated! I used vatious things around the house to fix the issues but i'm prob gonna buy a MPC myself just 2 see how the production goes on it!!! Peace!! "MOSHAE"

  • @GtrGeorge the Roland MV-8000 is a beast, but if you want something simple and capable of making great music then the mpc-1000 is good... i like the mv-8000 for the fact that its easy to sequence the songs and view the project with less clicking around...

  • @GtrGeorge Yeah man everything can be replaced. If you buy a MV8000 remember that the Video/mouse expensions are very hard to find, or very expensive. So if your looking for a workstation with a monitor, buy the mv8800 or de mv8000 with the included card. Myself I own a MV8000 without the expensions and I never miss it. I love this machine an I think it has more capabilities then a MPC but theres always a personal opinion involved. Ive got some MV made beats on my channel for more examples. P's!

  • @MOSHAEMUSIC i feel you! mine has a few rattling noises in it. I use to kill them buttons when i first started, then i realized you can customize the threshold..ha...

  • how do I midi my keyboard an mv so I can directly record my keyboard play into the mv when making a track and how do I make and save patches on da mv so I want have to look for sounds everytime I make a new track

  • Does the value dial have any other functions besides highlighting onscreen content?

  • nice one, background music too loud tho.

  • what are the differences of the mv8000 and mv8800??????????????

and is the 8800 worth buying

  • @911beats the 8800 has minor upgrades, but one of the biggest feature is the colored LCD screen. The mv-8000 is all 1980 computer like..lol.. green background and black text....

  • Nice work J.

You nab an A with this or what?!

    MV Valedictorian

  • Nice tutorial!

  • rollin rollin with my mv 8000

  • lol.. i should go record that
