I enjoyed this performance but I don't think much of the producer superimposing an annoying super close-up of a cello (?) over the main image of the clarinettist. I don't think it adds a thing to the experience of watching and listening.

@JoshJNYC Obviously you have not heard many. The phrasing is there and the subtle vibrato are good, but he just doesn't have enough lung capacity to pull off everything he intends to do. The result are fragmented musical ideas.

@nathonkim Alas, your smug condescension rather misses its mark. I own 17 recordings of this piece and have played it myself half a dozen times. I'm quite qualified to have my own opinion of the performance...do let's hear your effort, though, since you are quite OBVIOUSLY the unquestionable authority on the execution of this solo. I'm sure it would be all we ever dreamed of and then some.
