  • 19000? THATS OVER 9000!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • this brings back the memories the old days of playing this game.

  • This game; Rayman 1, Crash 1,2(warped) and 3(wrath of cortex) were my first games. This were many many years ago. Watching all these clips bring back memories. cheers vingamer0723. oh yeah, rayman 3 was also good.

  • @l33gend yeah Rayman 3 was the best i played for 2 years and never got bored of it

  • Wuhh?? They talk!? I never heard them speak English before. Back in my day, they just talked like the Sims or something.

  • @PAVONEZORZ n64 version?

  • marcou a minha infância '

  • damn i was trying to buy this game again but i can't find it still and it's too complicated to order in game stop T_T can someone tell me where exactly i can order it it doesn't matter where!! for ps2 by the way if i can get it for ps3 is fin as well

  • Globox is a punk

  • colourful platform games are the best :D

  • My left ear enjoyed the video.

  • This game was like on every system.

  • I wish I could go back in time and re live my childhood... :'D

  • dreamcast had the best version cause it had the best feel. sure ps2 and pc version had better graphics, but better graphics doesn't make it a better game. sort of like in star wars 4; the old visuals are more awe-inspiring than the cgi from the latest star wars. dreamcast had the perfect amount of graphical enhancement and tweaks that no other version had, especially for it's time.

  • i can't stand these characters speaking in english. gibberish better suited the atmosphere, gave it a more mystical otherworldly feel.

  • anyone who thinks this is better thand orgins is oldfag living in the past

  • @TobyTurner100

origins was way better than the classics but the classics were more of a challenge.

  • rayman origins is an improvement to all the rabbids games but its too much like new super mario wii

  • Nostalgia

  • Nostalgia :')

  • I played it on n64 and they didn't talk either. Just made noises.

Example, instead of him being like "Ly? The Fairy?" he was like "Huh? Ly da feh?"

  • the rayman 1 was better

  • My first game on ps1. that was awesome!

  • Ah! The memories!

  • Rayman Origins is badass but it doesnt match the epicness of this game.

  • rayman 1 owns all

played the new Rayman Origins demo its pretty ok getting it for ps3

  • THIS USED TO BE MY SHITT

  • 1:12 trolololololololo

  • what do you prefer, rayman 1 or 2? just wondering

  • *Clicked on video*

    *Heard the song*

    *Exited Internet*

*Left to go play Rayman 2*

Srry I didnt watch your video to long

  • miss this shit.

  • This game used to scare the shit out of me :P

  • @Nurpho Same here bro just the Atmosphere

  • @Nurpho - XD Same... I think the giant spiders and that skull cave you have to go in creeped me out the most ;_;

  • I like the voices of the English version from the PS1 version better, but the acting of that one was pretty bad.

Now it's the opposite, the acting is pretty good, but I don't like the voices :S

  • i remember playing this on pc and getting really confused when i was small! ah the memories...

  • This brings back memories as a child of being really pissed cuz I didnt know what to do!

  • @Tiroth77

    hahahah, thumbs up m8

  • now if only this could be remade onto the ps3 with even more improvements. unlike what ubisoft did with the 3ds version which had no improvements

  • I like Globox's voice better in this version than in Rayman 2 The Great Escape

  • have to fuckin rebuy this game RIGHT NOW

  • Damn those pirates are creepy! O_O BTW I have a Japanese cell phone ^_^

  • I played this on the other console, you know the better one it was white and had a orange triangle.

  • I prefer the version where they just speak gibberish :) it doesn't highlight the awful dialog as much haha

  • When I played it on pc they didn't talk. They just made noises.

  • @OftaPoftaRofta

    Same for the n64 version.

  • did you know Globox was voiced by Jack Black in this version?

  • @gordofredito And not a single fuck was given that day.

  • loved this game

  • my right ear is lonely ):

  • @JBTrollin Haha xD

  • I love rayman

  • Call of Duty! *trollface*

    ~

  • Ever since they made Rayman 3d with voice acting it's gone awful. I love rayman 1 best!

  • why peoples got suprised that the ps2 version have voice acting?

i remember playing the ps1 version the great escape back at the time and it's also have voice acting

or did these peoples back then played the N64 version which i can say no wonder.

  • Rayman has the best voice in the PS2 Version!

  • LOL how can Globox pass if he's so fat?

  • rayman 2 was the best game i ever playd

  • I have sound only in left ear :|

  • i love this game

  • By far the best version of Rayman 2...I miss my PS2.

  • For some reason, when I'm listening to this with headphones, the sound cancels out in one of the speakers...

  • Why does this get more views than JoshJepson's run? He had commentary.

  • i dotn know why but always in the fairy glade i cant find the last 10 lums?

  • I remember playing this at the YMCA. Good times.

  • When Rayman falls, it's night. When he reaches the ground, the sun is shining.

  • wtf where they thinking with the va the weird language and wispering dude was part of what made me love rayman 2

  • The ps2 version had voice acting!?!?!?

  • N64 Version is way better.

  • i prefer the PS1 version.

  • Why is other versions different from other console. Playstation Version Rayman and the other do speak, but PC, DS iPhone and 3DS characters don't speak, and that's ruin my memories of the game this game Dammit!

  • I MISS THIS GAME :(

  • this is a remake??

  • i owned the ps1 version when i was like 5 or 6 man so many memories the last level was f*****g hard!

  • Is there a way to turn of the voice-acting ?

I prefered it alot more with the odd sounds they made when they spoke :(

    This feels awkward !

  • damn. in the 3ds port, murfy sounds like a horror movie character

  • BEST PLAYTHROUGT EVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEER

  • i used to play this when i was 6!! now, when i saw it after 8 years... omg!!! i love it!!! i want to play it, but i don't know where can i find it cuz i'm in italy now and i don't know if i'll find it!!! but, i hope so!!!

  • My first Rayman game! it's stays old and it's stays good

  • I loved his game as a little girl

  • @funnylittlegirl12345

    One Special Word: Penis

  • I like the babbling of the n64 the best.

  • OMG My god memories are coming back to me this was my 1st PS2 Game...!

  • this is only rayman 2 the great escape for n64 on ps2

  • @pamelaerwin80 Revolution for PS2, The Great Escape for N64 and Sega Dreamcast.

  • hey this looks better than the n64 version

  • I liked it better when they talked gibberish

  • as it a good idea to get the 64 version over this one.

  • This game scared the shit out of me when i was little

  • @Sonic70o Same xD. I didn't want to touch it and gave it to my brothers friend... Bad choice lol.

  • This brings back the memories!!

  • this music owns

  • reminds me of crash bandicoot

  • is the ps3 port of revolution or regular rayman 2?

  • @sayo123D Regular.

  • @sayo123D There's a PS3 port of Revolution!?

  • thank god the little green fly eventually fucks off in this game when i first played it was like "hurry up!" then he is in rayman 3! fml :)

  • What happened to Murfy? Did he swallow 100 helium balloons or something?

  • Why is the music so loud? You can't even hear the voices.

  • This game is also on the nintendo3DS

  • sorry im saying this

but you finished it 100 procent

all the lums and cages so it isnt a playtrough

    but a walkthrough

  • @Bentenyson1 It's a playthrough because I played through the game. Regardless of 100% or not. That is why I called a it a playthrough.

  • @vingamer0723 ...

    than the internet lies

  • @Bentenyson1 sorry i'm saying this, learn to spell.

  • @zesaima123 sorry im saying this

im dutch and and i am not a pro at speaking english

  • @Bentenyson1 besides a playthrough has commentary. a walkthrough doesnt

  • @Bentenyson1 You have it reversed, a walkthrough is showing 100% while a playthrough is just playing the game.

  • @S0ryiu thats what i said but a playthrough can also be 100%

and i like the word playthrough more than walkthrough

because i dont want to walk through the game but play through the game

  • @Bentenyson1 It's called a "walk through" because they slow down and take the time to find everything while a playthrough just focuses on the story.

  • I had a rayman 2 game for PC when I was like 8 years old... they were talking gibberish all the time... and I didn't understand english (I am from the faroe islands), and so I just thought that was the real english... xD

  • Currently I have the 3DS version of this game..This port of the game would of been better,The gibberish is quite annoying.

  • @VoidHedgehog213

    the gibberish is awesome :o

  • @KirbyY15 It Sucks,Period.

  • kinda prefer the random gibberish that im used to

  • Ah this PS2 version was beautiful. Now I'd like to see it remade on CryEngine3! It would be stunning....

  • @rayfan9876 amen to that bro

  • holy shit i remmeber this piece of shit game, i used to play it all the time.

  • OMG I REMEMBER THIS GAME I GOT TO ONE PART AND I GOT STUCK I WAS LIKE WTF

  • Before Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door came into my life, this was my favorite game of all time. It still retains second place, though.

I used to play video games as much as any other guy. I used to play Sly Cooper, Ratchet & Clank, Jak & Daxter, and others...Rayman and the PS1 Crash Bandicoot games have been the only 'mascot' games to really hold up well for me. Sorry, Clank, Daxter, and Murray... They just can't beat the unpretentious, Disney-like charm and whimsicalness of Rayman 2.

  • I just got the 3DS version, and I hate how they replaced the talking with mumbling.

  • @Pokebob1 In the original N64 version, they spoke gibberish.

  • @KyubiStewie i know. but not the playstation version. MAN, I dont know what most cartoonish games have against talking. ESPCIALLY when they're on a Nintendo system.

  • @Pokebob1 You expected Nintendo to put full voice acting in five different languages onto a cartridge?

  • @angrytrifrocenerd1 No, besides, I started playing it on the 3DS first. I found out it was for N64 and PS few days later after I got it.

  • Love the game although the voice acting here is kinda painful

  • Rayman 3D 25th March :D

  • Cool........

  • can't wait to play this again on the 3DS

  • Sounded better when the characters spoke gibberish.

  • REMAKE!

  • this game makes me sad cus i miss rayman 8,-0

  • this game makes me sad and i miss rayman 8,-0

  • This is some nostalgic shit im close to tears OMFG!

  • what's the name of the song when he's sliding out of the pirate ship?

  • Now why couldn't Rayman 4 and 5 (Rabbids and what not) been like this at least.... Awesome game and a blast from the past

  • Awesome game is awesome.

    I plan on buying this.

  • rayman 2 is really a great game. I played it as a child and still play it (PS1 version).

  • @supremesonicbrazil same here. its amazing my first adventure game. one of my alltime favorites. i do have to say its tied with the donkey Kong country seriies.

  • I think Rayman 2 is the best Rayman ever thumbs up if you Agreee

  • @moordenaar2222 i like it more than rayman 3

  • @moordenaar2222 so you are the killer in 2222

dus de toekomstige moordenaar van 2222 he? en ja rayman 2 is de beste game ooit

vermoord rayman 2 in dat jaar niet ok? ik smeek het je

  • @moordenaar2222

    rayman 1 was better

  • @MindstormXL Here is how i would rate the games: Rayman: awesome and no doubt the best classic along with crash and spyro. Rayman 2: it was great and not bad, just lacked (my opinion) but love the music they had. Rayman 3: better then second and liked the enemies alot. Wished they made a sequel to it showed more hoodlum creatures and more technologies they make. perhapes in rayman 4?

  • @MindstormXL there are probably other reasons too but thats how i see it, it just lacked some things and needed to worked on a few things. Nontheless, this game is great and awesome. i've always like the music, mostly on boss battles. in terms, this game no doubt in my mind beats rabbids series hands down. however i do think rabbids 1 was okay. lol

  • @MindstormXL also, it never explains how he meets globox, clark, and other characters. somehow he just knew them even though they never showed in the first game. exclude the bad guys because they suppose to be new. no other characters was seen or mentioned from the first to second besides rayman. betalla should of been included for example because she was the fairy who gave rayman powers in the first place.

  • @MindstormXL I will answer. Yes this game was different. It never mentioned anything on Betilla. Here's my opinion and feel free to disagree: this game (as in rayman 2 of the series) was awesome in music, gameplay, style, etc. However, it drifted way to far from the first. No proper introduction like how game sequals pick off where the last left off (doesn't have to go exactly where it left off, just in terms where the game transition itself to the next to see a connection theme going on).

  • By far my favorite Rayman game (if not my favorite video game) EVER. Unlike a lot, I prefer this version, but I have a bias since I played this one first. Yes it's harder, but if you have Rayman fully upgraded, he's actually more powerful than his full power in the original, so it's not as big of a deal. Rayman 1 was good, but dang having to get every cage killed it for me, as it was SO tedious! Rayman 3? That one just focused too much on humor and not enough on gameplay.

  • Is this game new version for ps1 game rayman 2 the great escape?

  • what is this blue lum on the screen??? i've played the rayman 2, but the first version on pc.

  • it would be cool if you could get an unlockable blue rayman from the japanese release

  • @jakeneko Can you unlock the skin? or something?

  • Rayman 2 : Revolution for PS2 is based on the "normal" Rayman 2 game for PC,PS1 etc... I would love to call that the ps2 version is the best moreover it should be called the original Rayman 2. Better graphics, the characters are actually talking instead of babbling and there are a lots of upgrades which you can exchange for lums. I advise this game for everyone.

(David Gasman is every kinda voice of Rayman in every RM games.

Lets pray for a normal Rayman game and send those crappy bunnies away.

  • @Geriman I think your wrong there, the rabbids are good in their own way and are no longer associated with rayman, also rayman 2 isn't at it's best with the ps2, the gibberish always gives these types of games more character making the N64 and Dreamcast versions the better choice also the music seemed to be better for certain things like the intro on the N64, but overall now that the 3DS version out I would say that is quite possibly the best one.

  • @Geriman lets pray for rayman 4

i hope that one comes out

rayman 3 dont really contineus from rayman 2 in my eyes

wath yout think about rayman 4 the return of razorbeard

and it contineus from rayman 2 :D

i hope they will make something like that for ps3 and xbox 360 and pc

  • @Geriman well, they already tried sending them to the moon, ditching them at some point in the past, and trapping them in old t.vs, So what the hell will make them go away?!?!?

  • @Geriman

That's the advantage of DVDs instead of CDs and cartridges - put more content.

    Too bad for PS2 that a CPU can't do a GPU's work.

  • I used to have this game... I lost it when I moved house. :( I miss how I could never get past the first pirate ship part thingy *Sniffle* :)

  • Man,i so regreted the day when i got simpsons road rage instead of this when i was younger>:( I thought it was fun for a while but a couple of months later i got bored of it cause it sucked once you beat it...so in conclusion...one of the biggest screw ups i did>:( But luckily i was able to play it on N64 and remember why i screw up the first time:D But i should always pick Rayman 2 over Simpsons RR...always:D

  • @RaymanandRazorbeard OK I have to admit i had hella fun with Road Rage but since i got rid of my PS2(sobs) i dunno why i got it on that system but Rayman 2 is more fun:D

  • wait a sec this is the same game of ps1 AND now is for ps2 ???????????? O_O

  • are they still selling this game, because I want it now!

  • @JonnaJacobsen1995 I bought off amazon for £3.50 new yesterday

  • @1Evilpbrain1 sweet! :D

  • This game wins when it's in the Raymanian language. I'll be doing an LP/Walkthrough in that language :)

  • I cant save it but it is a very nice game xD

  • Nostalgy T_T

  • It's the whole game of rayman 2: the great escape for ps2?

  • I beat this game on Dreamcast.

    Hardest fucking thing ever,

  • What the f*ck where did the voice over come from?

  • i played it on all platforms i'm such a rayman freak or it's just that this is the best game ever

  • Wouldn't it be cool if they remade all 3 original Rayman games for PS3, 360, and maybe Wii with updated graphics, current voice actors, and maybe a hub world for Rayman 3?

  • nope

  • @FatManWithNoShirt I accept your opinion. I, myself, still think it would be fun though.

  • @MamaLuigiBarrelRoll They are doing that for PS3.

  • @RaymanWalkthroughs94 NO WAY. I'm gonna Google it right now!

  • besides, did u 100% this?

  • I LOVE THIS GAME! when i when i was a little kid my mother bought this and i played all along! my mother 2! 5/5! ;)

  • Maybe is by the not so good quality of this video , but I can't see any big diference between this rayman and the old one.

Sorry if my english isn't good.

  • i had this game for N64 when it first came out! but i dont remember anyone talking in English, or any other language for that matter! O.o

it was just abunch of gibberish, if anyone knows what im talking about please tell me what you think. thanks

  • @thefreakenBEAST Yup, had it for the N64 too, they released it for the PS1 a few years later with voice acting, then re-released it for the PS2 with better graphics and the same voice acting. The N64 game was in some fun made up language that I personally prefered. Loved Rayman's "Yabba Dabba" Lines XD

  • @thefreakenBEAST yeah i'm feelings you ..i used to look at t
