Only way I would accept a Buffy movie is... Animated using voice overs from the show. But 7 seasons of buffy put into a 2 hour animated feature would just be weird so so I don't think even that would work.

A buffy movie would suck with the original cast of Buffy. Have it post Sunnydale and even if it's set just after Season 7. But without SMG, Nicky, Aly, Tony Head, James, David, Michelle, Plus any secondary characters or Angel characters you want to add. I think it's time for some made for tv Buffy movies. I don't care that Angel, Spike, Harmony, etc. would have aged slightly.

I can't help compare it to Joss Whedon's legendary show. That's the Buffyworld we all fell in love with, and to me, this shouldn't of been made. If the original cast could have made it, that would of been f-in awesome. Making a movie without Joss Whedon is literally the worst idea I've ever heard from Hollywood, including various celebrity marriages and Scientology. However, if they cast Hugh Laurie as Giles, I would begrudgingly watch it on Netflix just to see how awesome he is. I actually love the idea of Dianna Agron as Buffy. I think Hugh Laurie is perfect as Giles. For Buffy I think it should Hayden P. (the cheerleader from Heroes), Emma Stone is perfect for Willow. Jesse Essenberg (Zombieland) shuld be Xander. Angel and Cordelia I am not sure. But if for some reason the show is turn into a movie, I think production are more like to get unknown actors cause I it may take focus away from the story if they got someone famous

Yeah, no CG there... He even filled in for him in some scenes for the episode "Intervention" because Nicky was sick.
