昭和12年頃の日中摩擦からガラガラとその姿は変わり、

The number is much lower. The japanese example was a concentrated extermination event happening during 16 years in east and southeast asia. The japanese killed for the sake of killing, raping beheading gasing, dismembering just because they liked it. There was no reason. Europeans just shot them, and mostly when there was a direct threat. The Europeans were bad, but the japanese were much worse. Maybe they censor the history books in japan.

"Liberation" doesn't include mass murder of hundred of thousands people.But I understand that Japan did remove western dominion of east Asia, that is true. But they were not nice to the locals, so liberation isn't the right word. When Japan lost the war however, the chance of liberation from the west (and japan) was now finaly possible.Had Japan won, the the people would have remained slaves.Japan had an indirect effect on the liberation of east Asia,but that was not their intent

You will se that japanese wkipedia's article have no pictures and try to avoid going into detail, As well as blaming the Chinese or calling it propaganda! and minimizing the damage. They also say the pictures are false ! While ALL the other languages have pictures!! And speak of it directly and state it's truthfullness. Coincidence? No, this is a sign of all the things I have mentioned.
