I hope to god that the lack of returning uncloned characters (Zasalamel, Talim, Mina ect.) and story (which wasn't as crappy so much as it was one dimentional and lazy) is just some twisted marketing plot to get us to download tons of extra content 6 months from now. I really do.

I don't regret buying this game, the character creation and gameplay are really inproved, but I swear if they don't have a DLC that expleighns who most of these people are or what happened to most of the characters... I WILL hunt down the game creators and make them put it in-game....

I'd assume that instead of just getting rid of the older characters they decided to age, they instead replaced them with younger copies of those older characters. That's just my theory though.

@JadetheTempest I'd kind-of like some explamation to who these guys /girls /others are and a little about them. Take Aeon for example.... He's a lizardman with wings. Why can he grow wings? Is this something other lizardmen can potentially do? Why can he shoot fire? Is he a dragon-related lizardman or something? I heard somewhere he's the first lizardman but there's no way to know in-game.

ALSO Kilk. Where's he been? It seems like he's gone thru something, and now he can use any male weapon.

there is so much disappointment in this game. sure fan fav edge master is back but kilik and elysium are just clones. other characters are just gone and replaced with children who look terrible. finally the only characters that get any story are patrokolus pyrrah and ZWEI. arcade mode should have still given characters a little bit of story and an ending fmv/parchment cutscene. seriosuly apparently yoshimitsu in this game is a different person so is asteroth yet no ingame explaination is given

@castledragonsword yeah i totally agree with you... not so much with the characters being replaced idc what they look like just aslong as they have the same moves and i can use them, and there is a difference between the three mimic characters elysium only clones girl characters and kilik clones male characters.... but yeah the story was very terrible... i ended up going on SC wiki cos im so interested in the games lore which this game does nothing with :/

@AnotherAddictedGamer You have to defeat him in battle or reach level 31. To defeat him in battle you can find him in the Legendary Souls mode OR when you reach level 17 a new arcade course will open up called 'extra' which has random opponents, keep playing that and Algol will eventually be your opponent. Also another way to play against him is to do quick battle, win 3 different fights in a row then keep refreshing the search until a character with Algol's style comes up, defeat him.

Still kinda buzzed off at the sudden flood of mimic characters, why not just make Sets for sets players? Omega Pyrrha is the only real one that I would see viable as a character slot. Why is Kilik even in if he has a style replacing him, and more to the point as a mimic character... Slots wasted on potential Zasalamel/Bangoo etc.

@underlordtico Yeah, always a viable approach i'd say. They've only confirmed previous BGM for future DLC, which is of the norm of SC series. But yeah, eventual roster additions would be nice. Kinda peeved about no Bangoo, i'd figure he'd inherit Rock's style to some extent if he made it in, but that easy to grasp Astaroth is always responsible for Rock's sudden downfall. :P
