I have a 2010 Alpine white 535i xdride with the stage 2 dinan software and dual cone intakes. The car is very quick. I raped a 2011 135i m package off the line bad. I want to eventually get a meisterschaft exhaust and Ar catless downpipes, then it will really become a beast.

The 535 has a twin turbo charger and 300 HP stock.

There is no visibile differece in performance between 535i and 535d.

Hey. I just cut out the resonators on my 550i. Sounds a lot more racier when i rev it over 2500-3000. Below that it lost some of the boominess. Love it. I'll drop the car off at the dealer tomorrow for the intake and stage 2. Can't wait.

nice car i just bought a 535i better buy then the 550 but i think the dinan exhaust is over priced an not loud i think rpi is much better thats wat im gettin in a few wks,but yea ur car looks really nice

Thanks man! In my opinion the RPI is just Raspie I HATE the raspie sound. I wanted it sound more exotic ya know? Like today pulled into Costco to get Gas and the worker comes up and dude "that things sounds so good" people always seem to like it. It is only 6hp but yes way to expensive for a freaking muffler! LOL

you i just bought a 2007 550I white just like your with the M sport package. i love it.  this is my 4th 5 series. what i wanted to ask r u really getting 390 hp n 412 foot pound of torque out of the 535 for real.

Shawn yes 396 HP 421 ft pounds of TQ Proved from the Factory in Morgan Hill. It's a beast dude! It beats my buddies DINAN Stage II 550i, he loved it so he went and bougth the 135i and did everything I did! I just killed a NON Z06 corvette a week ago the guy was so mad Ha ha.. its fun but I want an M3 bro : )

I just the same exhaust on my 2007 550i. Sounds GREAT!!!! Ten times better live then any speakers. It is worth every penny!!!!!!

Nice, havent seen anyone do much with the 535i...buddy has a 335i with Dinan stage 3, intercooler, exhaust (Super Sprint), Adjustable Bilsteins, after market 19' rims....looks good, and beats new M3, M5, M6 in a race. Twin Turbo is magical, I attended a Steve Dinan presentation in Santa Barbara....he stated specifically that you need to shift at 6300 rpm with the Stage 2 or 3 to get max torque, I noticed you shifted at 7k, try it a little earlier, quicker....

Question - I just had the Stage 2 and Exhaust added to my 535i (2008, Sport). Any idea (without driving a stock 535i) how you can prove the HP update with Stage 2?

You would have to get it DYNO. Let Car re-learn the Computer, it needs to adjust you will see....

I believe that information is also on the Dinan website, i remember reading about where you should shift for maximum torque.

my buddy has a 1989 corolla with a stage 5 interfooler, exhaust (stock), blown shocks, and after market rims...beats camrys, civics parking. i attended a drift demonstration and the cars there are made out of gold and run on lava............

No worries, yeah the exhaust is amazing it adds 6hp and sounds like no other! 6 months alone went into the sound and tuning! The software makes the most difference though.

i had put a bodykit on my x5 4.8is, but they made me do it outside fo the dealership, did you get yours put on when you ordered it, or did they make you go to a shop and have them put it on elsewhere?

i had to go to a shop to paint and install the body kit. What kind of a bodykit are you installing on a 4.8is X5, i thought it already comes with a kit. I had a 2004 X5 4.8is loved that car.

when they installed my kit on my x5 they cut the holes around the exhaust in a terrible way leaving a decent size gap, so i'm just worried that if i buy the kit for the 5 series that they will mess it up again. I don't understand why bmw can't just install it at the dealership. They have no problem preaching about the dinan products to make a sale, but when it comes to bmw accesories they basically tell me to go screw myself lol

Are you crazy bro? These 535's are doing 0-60 stock in 5.5 and with Steve Dinan Stage 2 kits there doing it in 4.9! You better do your homework kid!

stock ones do it in 5.1, at least with a stick. A dinan one with stick should be capable of ~4.4

i have a 535xi, 0 60 is 5.2 sec, i'm seriously looking into the stage 1 kit because at my dealership they were able to have a 535i beat out brand new stick m3 in a race, it had stage 2 software, exhaust, upgraded flywheel, suspension and it was a rocket, and now dinan is releasing a stage 3 software chip and a high capacity oil cooler. so you do your homework and post something when you have one of these cars for yourself
