  • if the motor is powerful enough you can cut off the bristles, and make a vibrobot.

  • thats a good bot

  • You'll never know what hit you... you'll never know what it will hit next.. A wall probably?

  • you can get a motor from any video game controller like a gamecube controller

  • @fidolimp those are too big

  • WOW, Your's seemed to be VERY unstable, good idea with the "legs"

  • what kind of motor it have

  • a pager.

  • They just use a vibrator from a cell phone, or pager.

  • wer can i find that kind of motor

  • An old pager or mobile phone is a good place to look, try also a cheap electric toothbrush or one of those vibrating razors.

  • i like the stabilizer legs that make it look like an insect

  • The brush kept falling over without them, or I could have used a bigger brush. It turned out to be a good look for the finished bot, I agree.

  • its cooler to have them mini so they can travel with you in your pocket

  • where could i get the motor excluding the cellphone. because we don't have broken cellphones at home.??

    TNXX

  • Search ebay for "pager motor", there's plenty to choose from.

  • better and cheaper ps2 rumbler

  • Sweat, switch the legs for some black legs, color the brush, and put it in someones room. XD

  • were do you get the motors from?>!!

  • A broken mobile phone, in this example a Nokia 7110. The phone cost me 99p from ebay, and I was able to recycle the remains and get something from that also.

  • cool thanks for actually answering

  • You could also use a bigger one from toys, just attach a weight and use something bigger that a toothbrush. (Comb maybe?)

  • i use alot of silcone gel in mine. its fish tank sealer. i was using apoxy resin but it just snaps apart with all the vibrations

  • Really cool! I didn't know whether or not it really did work, or if it were edited. I guess it does work. You have inspired me to make one as well! :D

  • I spent a lot of time trying to stop the thing from falling over, hence the out-riggers. I also had some difficulty finding the right type of glue to bond that particular kind of plastic to metal e.t.c. So experiment and take the time to get it working! :-)
